I've just started using a cordless flat iron which is definitely a good option for avoiding fires as they can only work for 30 mins of continuous use. A good option for teens or anyone often in a rush. http://hairbrushguides.com/cordless-hair-straighteners/ These are really handy to travel with too! ![]() |
Changing from using a flat iron to using a hot air brush made a massive difference in the quality of my hair. I used to always straighten my hair with a flat iron but they were just getting dryer, so I got a cut and started using a different tool - A Conair hot air brush to be exact. It's worked wonders. You can find it here http://hairbrushguides.com/hot-air-brushes/ |
I clean my hair tools about once a month to be honest. I use a hot air brush which I've found is much better than flat ironing as it doesn't fry my strands and make them dry. I use Conair, you can find a range of the best tools of the market on this page http://hairbrushguides.com/hot-air-brushes/ which is where I found mine. ![]() |
My hair wasn't in a very good condition when I was flat ironing on a day to day basis. I purchased myself a hot air brush which blows hot air while you brush and it turned out to be much better for the condition of my hair. You'll find a good range here http://hairbrushguides.com/hot-air-brushes/I use Conair! ![]() |
I use an epilator. This keeps them away for about 3 weeks before I need to eplilate them again. I used to shave, but I had to (wanted to because for me it has to be completely hairless) shave every second day which became rather annoying so I looked for an alternative and found epilators wre quite affordable and provided longer lasting results as the hairs are removed from the roots. When I started epilating I noticed major changes in the way my hair grows back too. Now it doesn't grow back like stubble how it does if you shave. Instead it grows back softer and sparser and aparanently if you epilate for a long time, the hair follicles become damaged and won't even grow back. So I'm excited for that day. ![]() Anyway, if anyone is interested in an epilator, here's an article that helped me with lots of questions I had before making the purchase. http://fotoepilators.com/electric-epilator/ |
Thanks for the awesome tips! I have short hair and have never had difficulties styling it. I use a hot air brush which gives it a good amount of volume. This is the exact brush I use http://hairbrushguides.com/babyliss-hot-air-brush/ and would recommend it to anyone with hair longer than chin length wanting extra volume. I wash my hair only twice a week and love rockin the sleek look when my hair is a little bit greasy. It's like a natural hair mask. |
These are good points that I was not aware of before reading your post! I used to shave this area once a week but have resorted to something else now called sugaring which is completely natural and doesn't even really hurt, not as much as waxing anyway. It's so much better than shaving because the hairs don't grow back like stubble but instead they are softer and thinner. If anyone is interested in this method of hair removal here is a blog that shows the best sugaring pastes available. http://fotoepilators.com/sugaring-paste/ |
