IndexMode: This topic is making me laugh.
Arsenal fans celebrating as if they actually did well. People win league with over 90 points. Along with even runner up. Bigger goal difference and other marks of a worthy champion.
But see these people. After all the rubbish corners and Contoversial decisions and scrappy wins. It was even clear that City did not want it enough. Yet so-called champion could not beat them in title decider, nor beat resurgent united or Even anybody who played better football than a boring ruby-like setpiece and then block defense.
We will continue to tell you that this team is not worthy of epl on a normal day. Guy, lagoon no scarce oh, transformers plenty... So do the needful if it bitter ur soul so much that arsenal won the league. |

Naya261: I am married with Children, my wife is a registered nurse with about 8yrs working experience.
Please which one would you strongly advice Between Sponsoring my wife's Nursing career to the UK or Enroll for Msc in Construction Project Management in the UK?
My aim for the Msc is as a means to jakpa and reside in the UK to continue working not that I really needed the Msc. Mr man, sponsor urself first by going for the Msc which I strongly advice u do in all sincerity. Don't sponsor ur wife first and she go there and change into another woman. Tomorrow u now come here and be giving us lamentations.
Please i need your candid advice. Thanks. |

Boarding or day- sch to me I all the same, both have the advantages and disadvantages. Though day sch is more better than the boarding sch. What I will advise is that parents should never send their kids to boys only or girls only schools, because it a breeding grounds for homosexuals. Am talking from what I have seen growing up and attending boys only schs both primary and secondary and what what I heard from both girls and guys alike. |

GeneralOuki: You are the one sounding delusionnal , always speaking for those who have never liked or Associated with you before. You people are always in the habit of deciding for the people of South South and telling them who they are and aren't, telling them who they should associate with and who they shouldn't. But in reality These people are very weary of you people and are aware of how deceptive you people are.
I stay in Lagos, and the Calabar people and Akwa ibom people here do not hide their disdain for your people, even one of them warned me to be careful of my association with the your people. They know you people very well, they know how you people like to sow enmity among friends and relatives.
Marriages is one thing, cultural association and similarities is another. The Igbo and Ibibio people share cultural similarities since they live very close to each other for millennias reason why they will always align with the Igbo than with even the Annang, same with the Efik.
I'm glad you know that you can't speak for others so Why bother? The Igbo have lived and shared boundaries with the Ibibio, Efik,Oron and Annang people for centuries without any major conflict between them, in fact, the ijebu and Egba, Egbado, Ọyọ and Ibadan people have fought more wars amongst themselves compared to Igbo and Ibibio, and These Tribes still hold resentment and animosity towards eachother so much that they don't marry themselves. But such a thing does not exist between the Igbo and their nextdoor neighbours, the same people who you claim don't want or like the Igbo. Quite ironic and somewhat hilarious to even think about.
We know you people and your tactics. Look at how you're on this thread crying for people who don't even like you in the first place. Trying to dictate to them whom they should associate with and who they shouldn't. Very funny set of people you guys are. Very divisive, cunning, hypocritical and two faced set of people.
You call me tribalistic but your comments are full of tribalism and bigotry. A pot calling kettle black. Stop spreading fallacy on this platform Mr Man. Who told the ibibio, efik and oron people hate annang and love igbo and where did u see the closeness of ibibio and igbo? Geographical the annang are close to the igbos than the ibibio and others. Stop spreading lies and falsehood where there is none. And let it be known here that the ibibios, annang, orons and efiks do not hate yorubas, hausa/Fulani nor do they hate any other ethnicities from other part of the Nigeria. Akwa ibom, and all Niger Delta states will rather remain as a region than be lump with the southeast and will prefer to be part of Nigeria. |

Kneeling to propose to a woman is unafrican and not in our culture, same thing with certain tribes/ ethnicity in the middle East. If u check most European ancient histories, I highly doubt any man back then kneel to propose marriage to a woman. All these are Western ways popularize from the late 1880s to now. And social media are making it look like it is normal and also a culture to be followed. I doubt even American president Mr Trump ever kneel to propose to his wife. He looks and acts like a man and that is why he is trying to change all the nonsense orientations ruining America future generations. |

Barca is ready to render Madrid trophyless again Most likely the way Barca is goin, am tipping them to go far in la Liga and champion league. Real Madrid are a long long shot from it. And I don't think they will go far in champion league. They will also struggle to win la liga. All this due to internal issues with their star players most especially the Brazilians in that squad. |

Only then will Madrid start attending Balon D'or, till then let us focus on our football matches. Mbappe will not win except he wins the world cup or champion league alongside la Liga. Same goes for yamal and any other players. If let say Portugal wins the world cup and their players win any other major trophy, players like vintinha, neves, Nunes, even Ronaldo will have a shot at winning it. |

Growing up my mom was very strict raising me and my siblings And up till today it has imparted and affected my life negative more than the positive She will beat us at the slightest mistake, errors or reports she hear from neighbor or people ( church ,sch etc) who reports us to her. She wouldn't listen to ur side of what happen even when the person twisted or lie to her. If someone provoke me or my siblings that leads to physical exchange. If she hears of it u are done for. Despite hearing from witnesses that u did no wrong she will still discipline us harshly. Having friends was a big issues with her to the extend u can't even go out with said friends or socialize with anyone even from the same neighborhood. Her excuse is that they will corrupt us. What bullshit! Her heavyhanded upbringing affected me till today to my adulthood. Am a recluse, keep to myself a lot😭. Socializing became a big issue and it even affect my relationship with the opposite sex.😓 Can't say much of my dad. Never had that fatherly bond with him and he never was there when I needed him.😞 Pray never to have them as parents ever if I were to come to this life again.😠😠😠 |
Family › Re: People That Were Raised By Extremely Strict Parents, How Has That Affected You? by Aragon001: 12:31am On Sep 18, 2025 |
Strict parenting has more negative impact than positive in the lives of their children. But I would justly put it at 50/50. Some children raise by strict parents turn out good and other turn out bad. Growing up, there was one family in my neighborhood where their mom was extremely strict, so strict it be better to be raise by the military than raise by this woman. Funny enough her boys despite her hard hand upbringing still did engage in vices that u be shock when u get to know of their upbringing. These resulted in her children mostly the boys to shun their mother and shower their luv on their dad who wasn't strict but raise them right. If it were left to the father those guys would have turn out right. Sometimes strict upbringing do more harm than good to kids |
