Lol I've not even started using it for up to a week and it's just two satellites thats connected to the decoder

Try do a factory reset on it and if it's still persists then return it since you just start using it

If you can remember the previous firmware version on your decoder go and download it and put it to your decoder , if you don't remember get someone who is using the same decoder as yours and let him back up his software version from his decoder for you and use it to flash yours .

Well I got a chance to own both decoder been GT media v8pro2 and Hellobox 8 though both decoder similarly works together I prefer Hellobox because of how fast it's autorolling keys been powervu and biss and also it's has iptv free if you want and there is also scam+ but the basics one that are similar are watching program (watching on phone )when it comes to autorolling it's faster than GT media too I must say GT media have their own thing too, having special program software that brings down abertis dtt channels on 30w and BBC satback channels on 27w if only you have access to bring down those signal so you can see both decoder has its own abilities you can decide what fit for you...

Sorry for the late reply, I was tied up with work. In the attached image you will see their official frequency.

If that did not work, then do a blind scan. However if all the option listed did not bring out a signal then adjust your dish to boost the signal in that frequency.


As I write, the frequency is still firing and channels very much active.

Note the symbol rate has change from 7500 to 9160 so the new frequency is {12734 (H) 9160} input manually and surely you will get the new content

Exactly every decoder can pop up multi stream signal but then the signal cannot brings out the multi streams channels because we have a specific decoder that are compertable for stream channels... Note : as brother @ yawwilson said it earlier on if you are buying a decoder you need to consider some specs of the decoder that support DVB-S/S2X and Hevc 265 to the extent automatically alltorolling keys which are now in the system...

Try and check the coaxial cable if the fibre net around the cable is not in contact with the pin at the place where f connector is, if the it is separate the fibre from the pin, if everything is OK then the problem may come from the coaxial cable or lnb try it one by one your problem will be solved.

There is this confession one of the renown member in this platform told me he has got a Linux decoder I think one of the lastest zygmma decoder and believe you me there are so many Linux programmers around but to get info from them is not easy all because when they disclose it people talk much about it and the content owners somehow tighting their safe lock recently forever account was openeing afn package and because we talk too much it got blocked and in the western world they enjoyed premium content securitly because they don't talk too much about it so let emulate then and enjoy the limited one that we have "Note" the above decoder mentioning is capable of doing this...so long and good night!

You see we are in the the world that you can't disclose some hidden thing in a particular decoder in a public since a particular content agent are monitoring all the activities for the well know platform like this, what I can say now is you can choose to the buy any of the decoder above and join their platform in there, you can be able to get goodies around the globe with a right equipment for free...asap

I do have both brand and each of them almost work the same and all of them work to my satisfaction but little additional to each decoder but I prefer hellobox 8 but you can choose what you want depending on your expectations.

Tstv are on encrypted process now so if you want their premium channels you need to buy their decoder before you can watch their channels.

Well, you can check up mecool on aliexpress to see if it has those things you are talking about, I suspect it does

The issue is all the decoder are good depending upon what you expected from the receiver but note it's will be better for you to get a decoder that has dedicated website for software updating like what my brother said hellobox,gtmedia , tiger series to mention few it's worth considering all these before you buy a particular decoder very important though...

They have accounts that illegally decrypt PayTVs in Europe.

After spending ₦90,000 on a decoder for an account that can be rendered useless by simple upgrade by the European PayTVs, why not pay that ₦90,000 to DSTV ori Startimes that you can sue if they mess up?

The decoder also has IPTV account that requires you using your data, which is slow on Nigeria and also expensive.

I posted about the SmartTV while I was in Paris in December. IPTV makes sense in countries like France with good data that's not too expensive. More so, the IPTV in that Samsung TV beats all IPTV anyone else in Nigeria is marketing.

If you want to risk, risk with cheap decoders like ₦15,000 to ₦20,000. But throwing ₦90,000 on what's not sure, is a very risky venture.

Morning all. Please i need someone to enlighten me. I observed this morning the hdmi port of my tiger decoder is no longer working. Lightning struck last night and i heard a spark in the house from the hisense tv end though there was no electricity in the house. Its the second hdmi port am losing this year from both end. The first was the home theater. Surprisingly, all my lnbs are working & the box.

the same thing happened to me on my Hellobox v5 plus decoder since then I couldn't use the HDMI port again, and I was using Phono input and later on the decoder went off completely am now intend to give for repairs...

exactly they should sue them,the don't have right to show the match even if the channel is in their content unless the channel was broadcasted within Kenya terrestrial package but if they watch the match outside Kenya then Startimes has every right to summon them in Court...
