The problem of Nigerians is knowledge and lack of thought.

On the 8th of April 2022, Falana(SAN) raised the issue of corruption in prison, no one noticed. I am sure you don’t even know about that.

whatever you are doing and you can not pin point benefit or any sign of improvement then its as good as time wasting.
So far subsidy removal as worsen Nigeria economy, no doubt we moved from budget subsidy to unappropriated subsidy, subsidy is still on but we dont even have a clue how much we are paying, whatever we are paying as subsidy before is now ,×3 as naira worsen.

As a before Subsidy is the only benefit that successful get to Nigerians directly But than ended fully on may 29 cos one man was to failed to plan ahead.

Even developed nations, Govt are still in the business of subsidizing essentials why is subsidy demonized in Nigeria. So far all the money saved from removal where is it, more money to the governors to share but how as signified improvement or growth.

But did you consider the fact that we were borrowing to pay subsidy?

We were also borrowing to support the artificial naira value?

Buhari had even borrowed money on crude oil that was yet to be refined

I will ask you, how long can you survive by borrowing?

Borrowing to even support the naira was economically terrible, especially for a country that decided to import when it could develop its own production.

To show how lazy the country is, we were borrowing to buy fuel, that we then subsidise with borrowed money?

We were even importing toothpick, paper, wire?

How can such an economy grow?

What Tinubu did, was expose the dying economy, now its either we survive or die.

Tinubu is doing the right thing, the only reason I don't support him, is becaause we would have avoided this issue if Jonathan's 2015 subsidy removal was allowed.

But the people, not understanding economics and jeered on by people like BAT, prevailed against the subsidy removal.

Now that we are at another crossroad, we can reject his proposal and suffer worse fate in 2032.

See, when Nigerian leaders and governors carry issues like this on their head, know that its for their self-fish reason.

They are not gathering for boko-haram, or Chibok girls, or Corruption, or Election violence....but once its time to share money or something that will stop the free flow of money, you will hear their voice.

Choose wisely.

That Airport is terrible.

When travelling out of Nigeria, you will see 4 sets of different officials ; customs, NDLEA, health, representing different organisations.

Most are just there to look over your travel document, ask stupid questions and the request « something ».

Other airports want you to go through Customs checking fast, Nigerian airports want to delay you.

I am only inclined to write this due to the alarming rate of sudden deaths experienced by Japa people.

Only last week a young chap suffered cardiac arrest, just today someone else had a sudden death.

1. When you want to j, if you are married with children, leave children first, go with your wife.

2. Ensure you have accommodation settled for the next 2 months. A friend was thinking he would rough sleep, cold nearly kill am.

3. Have plenty money, borrow all you can. You will likely not get a job for at least 1 month.

Allow me educate you.

The value of a currency is determined by how useful that currency is.

For example, if people, outside the country, need that currency, its value increases. If they don’t, its value decreases.

So, say someone wants to buy something from Nigeria, he technically has to have naira, so he will bring say dollars. Therefore, he will need naira and the value of naira will increase.

However, in the reverse, I want to buy something from outside, I will use my naira, change it dollar to buy the something.

And in economics, when there is scarcity, the price/value increases.

To avoid the value increasing, dem Jonathan and Buhari were borrowing $$ to provide $$ to people that want to buy. Thus, we had what was called artificial value.

Nigeria was borrowing to do big boy, while running into heavy debt.

Now, there is no more borrowing, we have a value that is determined by market forces.
