Except SOME foods, almost every item in Nigeria has components of it imported, with little to no local substitute. Vitafoam is a Nigerian company, but the chemicals, raw materials and even the textiles are all imported! This is the same for virtually every product you can think of. The drugs you use, except for vitamin c and paracetamol, you think they are made in Nigeria? Who do us like this? When you no even understand the nuances of a situation yet you are defending a position? Smh

Hi guys, need help making a decision.

I am planning on going into programming, python and Power apps, Azure.. E.t.c

I need to work my ass off, for the next 1 year of my life, so I can reach the level I want.

I am thinking I need a macbook pro, for its portability and I hear it's good for programmers.

Problem is, I already have an an alienware 16gb ram 1.5tb hdd and work pc, 16gb ram 1tb hdd.
Together with a Samsung note s6lite.

The problem is, my laptop is too big to carry about, my work pc is too restricted, I.e apps I can use on it. And the note is well, a note.

I am thinking I get the mac, use my alienware as a RDP and let work pe be for work things.


What do you guys advice?

Nigeria produces a lot of things.
Before oil, Nigeria was the highest producer of ground nut in the world.
The second/third highest producer of Oil palm in the world, Rubber, Leather, tin, coal, bitumen...

Imagine Nigeria importing toothpick?
Paper?

Why, because it was cheap to import from China.... Now it's going to be very expensive and people will be forced to seek alternatives within the country.


One major incentive to export is high exchange rate.
E.g if you sell, you earn in Pounds.

I have always argued for Tinubu, not because I think he is the best man for the job, but because he cannot be bullied. I daresay, economically he has started well.
