Hi, I don't know the source of this your information. Absolutely, there has been recent high rate of refusal to study permit applications in Africa especially Nigerian even my brother & family friend were both denied 2 weeks ago. Majority of the asylum seekers are Nigerians with US visit visa B1/B2 using US to come to Canada boarder seeking for asylum and NOT study permit holders. With study permit, u are practically almost a resident, it's just a matter of time to transit into PR status. BTW, I live in Canada��, I have credible info to this assertion. Hello Truce01 & the elders in Canny especially current students or alumni of Conestoga College, I will be resuming Conestoga by August for Fall session, and I am in dere need of shared-room accommodation around kitchener that affordable and close to campus/easy access to bus route. @twoc, just call any of the CIC approved clinics to book an appointment for e-medical and go with your int passport, passport photograph and preferably your ATM card. @ vanod, using CAC docs must be well tailored to your situation and the company SOA is well run and funded. For example, i only used my funded corporate SOA, reference letter stating I'm the SOLE signatory & CAC docs as home tie in addition to having a viable " architectural business" in country of residence. However, I NEVER declared my business resources to fund my study instead i used my mum and sis as co-sponsors. What works for applicant A might be detrimental to applicant B. So be strategic about it and think through it. Put yourself into the VO position and be truthful to yourself. God will favour you. vanod: 1 Like |

Applied via Paper route Programme - PGC Construction Project Management / Fanshawe College, London, ON Session - Fall 2017 UG - Architecture Submitted on - Dec 22, 2016 (Linked online on same day) Medical passed - Jan 16, 2017 (Upfront E-medical) Approval mail - Feb 17, 2017 Passport dispatched from Accra - Feb 22, 2017 Passport ready for collection - Feb 28,2017 Here is the list of documents. olatuns2016:@olatuns2016, You must be very strategic about it but here is the catch and you have to be truthful to yourself and be blunt. Write about your background about UG (not just passion), your practical experience about it, what you have done in your home country to widen your knowledge either certifications or online training (provide evidences), write about how your future employer prefer foreign trained employees and swift promotion at your workplace upon obtaining foreign training , write about employment prospects and its demand in Nigeria, be patriotic to your country (never say negative things about your country despite it's obvious), write about how your skills and knowledge can be transferred to others upon your return, why PGC and not masters, why canada and how beneficial is your intended program socially and economically to your country. Make your SOP interesting to read cos they read tonnes of SOP daily.With all these, you have already made the VO work simpler and you will be smiling at your TRV. Lastly, send your SOP to TRV doctors/gurus for review .... and pls take corrections and revise it daily either early in morning or late at night till you are convinced to submit your application. Never rush SOP writing cos it takes weeks. NB: If a third party cannot be convinced reading your SOP without asking you questions, then I doubt if you can convince the VO. Osemigho:Based on my submission Copies of Property document can be certified.... (Cos it can"t easily be verified). They won't even collect original from you at vfs for paper route Copies of Car document might not necessarily be certified..... cos it can easily be verified online since it has registration number http://www.lsmvaapvs.org Police clearance certificate.... just go to Alagbon CID, Ikoyi/Obalende with your int passport, Passport photograph & i did mine 5k but u can carry extra sha.
