The reason I fear the Peter Obi/Rabiu Kwankwaso presidential ticket is the religious extremism of Former Kano state governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

In case a lot of people do not remember, Kano state operates Sharia law and that law was signed in June 2000. The governor of Kano who signed that is Kwankwaso and he is not appologethic about it. This suggests that he also supports blasphemy laws and to some level, Islamic extremism.

How me a liberal christian who values my freedom of speech and rights is supposed to react to this news is what supporters of Peter Obi need to inform me how I am supposed to feel.

If we can recall, the US government recently named Kwankwaso as a problem as regards this same matter. Is this the kind of person we want as vice-president?

Before you say he was reluctant to sign the bill into law remember he had a choice to not sign at all but he choice to show weakness or tactically support a law that turned the state into a Muslim state. In fact, Kano was the second state in Nigeria to allow Sharia law after Zamfara which meant it was not even widespread in that time, he just wanted to raise one religious tenets over the other.

Lets think about this before coming to campaign to Christians because Kwankwaso can potentially become president if something happens to his principal, then what? We become a sharia state? We are forced to observed Ramadan?

Nonsense talk, before your very eyes , we have a MUSLIM MUSLIM ticket, and it was in the Government of the Vice President in Borno State that Boko Haram was founded in Borno State...

So which of them should we accept?

Or is it because Christians remained calm , if it was a Christian Christians ticket, won't there be war in Nigeria by now

How is Nigeria a failed state because of the increase in pump price of diesel? Subsidy on diesel was removed by Obasanjo. Even if your agulu Messiah is the current president; the price of diesel will also flunctate due to market forces

Things don't get cheaper YOY in any country because of inflation but food prices came down over the past few years say one to two years. Garri, rice, palm oil, beans etc have all come down in the last say two years. Some by more than fifty percent

Bread of 2200 is now 1800
Eggs of over 6k is now less than 5500
Garri was like 1k it is now never more than 500
Palm oil 2k is now around 1200 etc etc

So if your child who takes 3rd position in school returns one day with 35th out of 38., and in three years, came back with 30th out of 38, will you say that your child is improving or outrightly remove your child from the school??....try and pretend to be transparent to answer this question....
