Why do you guys keep forgetting Jonathan was in office because of the death of Yar Adua and, in reality, using the slot of the North?

Meaning if Jonathan is decent and honorable then the 5 years he had used, as substantive President from 2010 to 2015, should have been enough for him considering he gained a position he never dreamed of and would never ordinarily aspire to because GEJ, though a very decent man, knew such is above his station.


You all keep forgetting even Obi is today pledging he will do 4 years only to gain the support and vote of the North because he is away the North does not play with their turn in power.


Why then did GEJ choose to be diffent and instead wanted a total 9 years in office on the slot of the North. Something the region would have been seriously and perhaps murderously problematic over had it become reality?

You lot should thank Tinubu for doing the right thing to help North gain power so the rotational agreement, the only thing keeping many adversarial and Machiavellian ethnic groups in uneasy peace, was not destroyed.

It is for the same reason many noble Northerners will do and spend all to ensure Tinubu completes his 8 years on behalf of the South.

You guys need to move on from GEJ lamentations when the man himself has done so long ago and is cordial with PBAT today.

Even Buhari that deposed GEJ employed him as an Ambassador for Nigeria. Why then must you followers be so militant?

Umahi is one to watch for the future. He is doing everything, unlike Obi, to prove he is an Igbo man other Nigerians can be comfortable trusting with ultimate power.

People have legitimate reasons to be apprehensive because of what history teaches them. Trying to be arrogant in demand of power, without understanding the need to pay dues and be humble, will lead to failure.

Umahi, Soludo, Ben Kalu, Otti, Mbah etal are working with Tinubu. Obi feels he must fight Tinubu. They will all get the just reward of the choices they have made.

Marriage is not an achievement.

I watch many young guys, most my age, that have one or two children. I see how they struggle and toil day and night. Yet, almost nothing to show for it, children expenses, sometimes ungrateful wifes, make them look older than their age.

As for me, still in my mid 30s, will prolly settle down soon hopefully. But, if I'm to pick between settling down now, and be living like most of my friends, or wait a little longer and live the life i want, I'll gladly wait.

Then sometimes, one or two of them will call me and start complaining about finances, how i should help them or borrow them 20 or 40k. Me, I just give them what I know I can afford, cause I dont borrow people money, to avoid stories.

Most people think because I have a house I stay, and a car I drive, I'm automatically ready for marriage. But, I still have a little mile ahead to cross.

What was Obi's thought before he left LP to join ADC, That Atiku and co would give him the party ticket on a concensus agreement? I think we need to critically see beyond the scope of blind followership. How could someone with that kind of political sagacity not have seen the handwriting on the wall even before leaving the LP that Atiku can never step down for anyone. To me, it shows that Obi is not what he parades himself to be in terms of political intelligence and smartness. He allowed himself to be politically played like a novice in Nigeria politics. Even Datti is more intelligent and smarter than him. I say sorry to his fans and political followership.
