PoliticsRe: The Dynamism Of The Hypothesis Expressed In Bola Tinubu #recruit50million Youth by ardave2k13(op): 11:18am On Sep 20, 2022
Authority1o1:
Okay...

Seriously?

You are attempting to make an intellectual out of the goof of your man?

What sense does that make to you that in a country whose youths should be engaged with industrious and economic activities, tens of millions of youths are all absorbed into the military?

If Tinubu is projecting such number of soldiers, what security situation is he anticipating that would require such a number to engage?

Will Nigeria be so violence torn that he would need such a number?

Agbado and cassava coming from him shows his level of intelligence. He's a goof who's far from an intellectual.

Edit:

One bat is below me talks of sufficiency. I understand that bats could be blind at certain hours, but light isn't even a requirement for critical thinking.

How do you attain self sufficiency by employing fifty million youths and feeding them with agbado and cassava? How would that boost the economy?

Should a thinking brain not tell the bat that instead, his principal should have focused on making mentions of how to produce and export those products if he wishes to strengthen/increase revenue?
The man may have goof by mentioning 50million youth into the Army, Police and other Service Paramilitary but the truth of the matter is, he corrected himself right there and then when he mentioned 5million boot camps of youth.

Moreso, he did mention that anyone who can hold a gun, cock a gun, and clean the chamber is competent enough to repair tractors. I believe that Massive investment in Agriculture and Agro-processing is capable of not only guaranteeing us a self-sufficiency in foods but also reduce our unemployment and reduce drastically our food import which often put pressure on our Forex.

One other area we must look at is that our country as it is, we are under policed and so we can not deny the fact that recruitment is needed in that area.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress in the 2023 election while addressing an audience was captured saying, it is not time to constrain the economy.. that if United State of America, having spend $1.9trillion and are still planning to expend about 3 trillion dollars on infrastructures, why should Nigeria with 33% unemployment rate be adopting austerity measures?

He went on to say recruit 50million youths.. what are they going to eat? Agbado, Cassava and Corn, that we produce here... Reading and hearing the comments that trails this speech shows that there's so much gap in knowledge amongst our youths..

Let's discuss this. Thank you.
PhonesRe: How Did I Get The NIN Without Registration? by ardave2k13: 2:43pm On Dec 21, 2020
Racing:
I bank with gtbank and my BVN starts with 222 maybe that's why I was able to get mine despite the fact that I have never registered for the NIN.
I have similar experience. I just discover that I have NIN already when I checked my GTB bank balance using *737# and I swiftly visited Enrollment center to validate my registration and collected temporary card.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu: The Blood That Runs In My Veins Is Same That Runs In Every Nigerian by ardave2k13: 5:54am On Sep 13, 2020
flyingpig:
Honestly He was not coherent. Seemed like he was attacking the mismanagement of the economy, then all of a sudden he lost track and talked about secessionists.

I don't even understand the correlation, nor did he proffer better and wiser economic blueprints to lift us out of the economic dungeon.
Please the article again. Larger portion of the article merely reported what President Obasanjo said. Tinubu harped on the issue of unity raised by Obasanjo by responding that there's need to be united.

Credit to DuBLINGreenb:
Won't happen but las las hush done chop money, flex life, lived lavish, flown choppers, flown private, had the most exotic cars, mingled with celebs obtained connections, became a known international brand.

No jail can take that away from him, if he comes out of prison he will be better than most poor Nigerians because he has a platform, he has connections, he has experience, he is known and so on. He won't be starting from square 1

He can write a bestseller book, be a TV host, sing music people will buy, sell his story to American media companies, work for security organisations abroad etc

Most Nigerians live in houses worst than American prisons me typing this have not seen electricity in 42 hours straight, I paid aboki 50 bucks to charge my phone, American prisons have 24/7 electricity, gym, free TV, free laundry services, free phone calls and free food that is why black Americans even the celebs see jail as an achievement as street cred status bringer

how many haven't been to jail? you tell me as we speak many US celebs are in jail including Steven Spielberg's daughter, R Kelly, Da baby etc
Even Robert Downey Jr, Lil Kim, tommy Lee, Mark Wahlberg have all been to U.S prison
Their prison is not like our own many come out of jail looking better than they did before they went in.

Those quoting me will chose 10 - 15 years in American prison and a lifetime of living lavish for themselves and their family without thinking twice over being a poor Nigerian from birth to death.

Ask yourself what odds hushpuppi had of being as rich as he was without doing what he did? We all know majority of Nigerians will be born into poverty and will die in poverty but we all want to delude ourselves by thinking "I will be the one to make it" niggger that's what the other 100,000,000 dead Nigerians before you thought, you think every poor Nigerian chose to be poor? or they don't know your God or another one is "if he didn't do crime he would be enjoying by now!" Nigguh enjoying what exactly

Simple question please how many Nigerian lawyers do you know richer than or even half as rich as Hushpuppi? Even the celebs how many of them where as rich as hush? Only the very top 1%

Another quick question? Ask them how many years and how much suffering, and how much connections etc it took them to get that degree and then that position and if the pay for those without connection is adequate, do the same for every other profession except clergy and politicians

And decide for yourself what chance the vast majority of Nigerians have of becoming millionaires or even hundred thousandnaires ?

I'm not encouraging crime please don't do crime but let us be realistic in our thoughts and speech,

I thought if you go to school you must be rich until I was in a slum and a woman told me she did her youth service in taraba, I was surprised I was like wtf excuse me, she said yes she served in.... She didn't know I was thinking shocked thinking to myself "how did you go to school for 17+ years only to end up in this slum in this poverty" I assumed everyone in slums where uneducated never do wells, miscreants etc.

Imagine if she, like most young girls were compelled to sleep with lecturers for grades, or sorted to pass and all that thinking riches were ahead of them upon graduation only to end up in a slum without husband and children hey this isn't fiction this lady was quarrelling with another non educated woman the other day I recorded what the women were using to insult her. Her lack of husband and children she kept saying she sacrificed all that for school and her future but you decide if this is a future worth losing sleep for, worth losing meaningful relationships for

What exactly are you saying in this your lengthy write up?

Are you trying to justify illegality or unlawful means of acquiring wealth?
PoliticsRe: South African Media Confirms Legitimacy Of Nigeria's $9.3m Arms Deal by ardave2k13: 9:44pm On Oct 08, 2014
“The recent interest in arms purchase was informed by the challenges of insurgency which our nation had been grappling with in the last few years. This is why the understanding of all Nigerians is necessary."

Really?

Are we this gullible in this country? Are we so blinded by tribalism, sectionism? Some questions are begging for answers...... it will be nice if the Jonathanians here on Nairaland can offer me answers.

Irrefutable report has it that the Ex-millitant, Mujahid A sari Dokubo is one of the 2 Nigerian caught with $9.3m cash on the Pastor Oritsejafor owned private jet. The question is : when did Asari Dokubo become a security consultant to the Nigerian government?

Why is the Nigerian government desperately trying to cover things up if actually they have nothing to hide?

Some things doesn't just add up. I don't buy it.

oilyyariba: Another yolaba fraudster!
He's not a Yoruba man... his name is Stephen Osagiede Oronsaye. His parents were from Uhunmwonde and Oredo Local Council Areas in Edo State. That information is not to outrightly defend Yoruba people as flawless but to state that we don't celebrate corruption as you have erroneously believed.

Herodion: I will continue to say this, osun people are gullible and easily manipulated.
How? Gullible and easily manipulated! By sticking to Aregbe who by all standard represent good governance and effective leadership......

What would you have expected of them? To vote an Omisore/PDP who have nothing to offer......
PoliticsRe: Poverty Worsened In Nigeria Under PDP Rule- African Development Bank by ardave2k13: 10:09pm On Aug 11, 2013
Maxymilliano: The country operates three tiers system of government with 1 President, 36 State governors and 774 Local government areas manned by elected, and sometimes unelected officials from different political parties since the inception of the 4th republic till date.

Singling out just the Presidency, without factoring the contributions of other tiers of government to the worsened state of the economy is disingenuous on the part of the writer ...
if you are well aware of the money available to the Presidency you will understand why they should be held responsible for everything. The money/allocation shared between the three tiers are as follows: 56%, 23% and 20.6% for Fed. 36States and 774LGs respectively. Now tell me, who should be held responsible . To whom much is given, much is expected.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi And Tinubu Celebrating Fashola's Birthday by ardave2k13: 9:07pm On Jul 01, 2013
The writer of this article should put into consideration the fact that Gov Fashola has been an unrepentant Man U fan even long before he became Governor. So, spare himbthat ranting of us. You spoke about some clubs in Lagos. Let me educate you a little, Julius Berger FC in Lagos is own by Private persons, Gov Fashola's administration tried to take it over but to no avail. The fact that his administration set up successfully Lagos Junior League is a sure sign that he's passionate about our sports development.

So, please spare him.
