This one is confused.
Yesterday, he was crying of restructuring.
Today, he's asking for 42%.
How then will the north take the south seriously? undecided
What is restructure?

I support this. Am a Yoruba from a state that has no crude oil but this would ensure our governors with little natural resources think outside the box and innovate. Plus it's totally unfair for states like bayelsa, rivers and other oil producing states to have their resources enrich other regions at their own expense. Some of these people's lands have been destroyed as a result of crude oil activities in the region yet they get peanuts.... left to me all states should keep 80% of what they generate.
The oil producing state gets their cut, what have they been doing with it?

and that is the problem illegal migration shouldn't be a yardstick.
Illegal migration is not a crime, you come to a country Illegally, but should be ready to be regularised
I came into this country with my wife and 2kids illegally, to God be the glory we are all legal residents.

it is not a must to go to Europe via Libya or staying in Libya, there are better countries and it's important to go legally. If they made going legally difficult that means they don't want you there simple.

Some countries genuinely need your skills or your contributions to their nation building.

You don't determine how people migrate, people have been migrating legally and illegally since human existence

As far as I am concern a lager population are into mind-boggling things down to Europe.

Going the legal way should be the way and putting one's life and family life at huge risk.

It's crazy, the experience would never go away. Living in another man's country without papers or doing it legally has made that person a treat already and now engaging directly or indirectly in something illegal makes it worse.

It's good to be a palm tree in Nig than going to Europe through Libya illegally. I pilling up self-inflicted stories that touch.
You are talking from your comfort zone and not from the zone of experience. Going legally has been made very difficult, even those that went legally later became illegal, because their limited visa will get expired.
Experience are meant to teach us, either negative or positive experience, we learn from it, my experience has made me strong. My family's are that we made the journey, no regret.

Yeye people, they are mostly prostitutes and touts disgracing Nigeria in the name of making it to Europe by all means without genuine documents.

They should return back and join their parents in farming.

Stop it, don't just sit at the Comfort of your home and presume everyone in Libya are into drugs or prostitute

Besides, hope you are not pimping and drug dealing cos I don't trust people who make use of that dangerous route
Do you mean everyone that pass through this route are pimpers and drugers?
Your assumption is wrong. There lots of people doing better legally here

They are the problem, cultism, smuggling, prostitution, drugs dealing, human trafficking is the only business and craft they understand.

Any Nigerian still in Libya is either intellectually or mentally challenged.

After ignoring all the red flags on going to Libya, you still go there and when you end up in the debacle of Libya, you start crying for help from the Nigerian government.
You are MAD!
Some Nigeria are still doing better in Libya, some have their hand work that they are doing, while, some of our ladies are working in Libya houses as helpers.

I hope they will resolve it in no time, Libya is not as bad as we all reason it, though they have their short coming.
Libya has pave way to so many people, most of the successful Nigerian in Europe pass through Libya, but they are always ashamed to give a report about their transit in Libya.
I am always proud and I will like to make a thread on my journey to Europe on nairaland very soon.

Family / Re: My Parents Move In To My Ongoing New House Without My Consent by aremuforlife(m): 10:49am On Oct 04, 2021
Mr kehinde, you need to be happy that you are able to build a house where your parent can lay their heads, although, the house is not meant for them. You can talk to your wife, to reason with you to allow them to stay in the building pending the time you can be able to raise enough found to build a little and befitting accommodation for them.
Nairalanders may to you, they are not entitled to it, but I tell you most of them are deing to make the parent happy.
These are your parents in question not your siblings or extended family, your salvation lies between their feet, don't any western live patern deceives you, they envy African family patern.

Since NIN Registration requires fingerprint capturing, and also, since newly-born babies already have fingerprints which are not even going to ever change even after their old-age, what prevents children from undergoing the fingerprint capturing?
Even children don't finger print on international passports

Children don't need finger print, the NIN should be mandatory from birth.

Politics / Re: Ekiti's 25th Anniversary: Aribasoye Greets Fayemi, Says Ekiti Not A Failed State by aremuforlife(m): 8:48am On Oct 01, 2021
Ekiti is not a failed state, all we need is the executive to work hands to hands with the law makers, they need to make law to attract investors in any little ways. The state government need to make necessary infrastructure available not white elephant project, like airport. Ekiti state dint need airport, bit well structured inner-road for farmers. Ekiti state can general billions from tourist, we have alot of tourist center thta6can attract lots of investment, but they are looking down on it, because it will promote the traditionalists more than our colonial master.
