licia3: Big Congratulations Ma'am! From my research, Kristiansand is a nice place located in Adger county, southern Norway. For the funds, you need *2 of the required student amount (nok 123,519 *2). Your hubby can work unlimited and your daughter studies for free if you enrol her to a public school. Cheers! |

Thatmgbekebabe: Good afternoon folks! Trust our day is going peachy. I have 2 unconditional offers, one in University of Edinburgh (master's in Finance, Technology and Policy) and the other, University of Westminster ( MSc in FinTech with Business Analytics). Tuition fees comparison; Edinburgh (£33k) Westminster (£15k) Pls is Westminster okay, university is Edinburgh is highly-ranked but Westminster is in London. I'm thinking of sticking with Westminster due to its location. I'm kinda confused. |

Napolito: Oops! It depends on what the school stated. Only few schools (UiO and USN) in Norway asked for TOEFL and ielts. If they did ask, and you didn't meet the TOEFL score, your guess Is as good as mine! Instead of disturbing yourself, why can't you apply to universities that exempted Nigeria from documenting a TOEFL score. We have trunks of universities that exempted Nigeria (our WAEC result or WAEC scratch card or letter of English Proficiency was asked instead) Best of luck! 1 Like |

roland2rule: No, you don't have to! A transcript is good for the 2 courses under the same university. Applying to 2 programmes under a school is better. Reasons are; 1)it saves cost 2)it widens you options ( 2*n) 3) makes you competitive Best of luck! 2 Likes 1 Share |
Travel / Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by Arinze001(m): 8:09pm On Nov 14, 2020 |
roland2rule: Sadly, YES! You have to notify your school to send it to the host university. There's an alternative though but I won't tell you to try it to your intended/top priority schools. Some folks years back uploaded only their original transcript and they didn't send by post and still got admitted. They used this experiment on schools they had <100% interest on. If you really love those schools you mentioned, bro, you just have to send those transcripts by post. I know some guys paying close to #40k*n on transcript. Yours is fairly better. Do the right thing RIGHT! |

If you did those courses asked (*3 times), just apply and be hopeful. That's all I'll say. Don't fret much about it! 1 Like |

[quote author=yr2020 post=95886852]Good day everyone, Really appreciate the manner of response here that’s why I feel free to ask these questions; Let me shed some light on the grey areas; 1) For NTNU applicant as you said, you're to show a document of funding during the admission application period. You have no business with the Embassy right now. It's when you've been given admission - and subsequently transferred the funds to the school. You'd be given a receipt by the school which you will use for visa application and other required documents. What you need right now is to upload a personal bank statement or sponsorship letter ( all slightly higher than NOk 123,519). 2) Your wife is applying too. She's to be in Norway before she can bring them. She must have spent a year in Norway at least. The applicant (your kids) can apply later after your wife ( referenced person) has spent a year in Norway. There are some flexible conditions to fulfill though. 3) For admission processes, each person to their name. Everyone is applying individually likewise Visa too as neither of you are in Norway already. 4) If NTNU is really your desired school, then you have to send your transcript too. Though, some lucky folks got accepted years back without sending the official transcript but they didn't make that school their desired school. Do the right thing RIGHT! 5) check the website, read the requirement and if you beat it, then apply!! Best of luck! 1 Like |
