Christianity EtcAncient Bible, You Wouldn't Belief What It Claims. by Arjeeni(op): 2:57pm On Feb 23, 2016
– A 1500-year-old Bible found in Turkey claims Jesus Christ was not crucified
– It also states he was not the son of God but a Prophet
– Religious authorities insist that the book is authentic

Earth-shattering news are coming from various websites! The 1500-year-old Bible, which was discovered in Ankara, Turkey’s capital, in 2000, refutes the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Moreover, it says that he was not the son of God but a Prophet, who didn’t die and ascended into heaven alive.

It also states that it was Judas Iscariot who was actually crucified and calls Apostle Paul the Impostor. This information was taken from the gospel of Barnabas, who in this work is one of the twelve apostles.

There is a theory that the modern Bible was formed out of four canonical gospels by the Catholic Church during the Council of Nicea, while the Gospel of Barnabas as well as many others were ommitted.
The book along with antiquities, illegal excavations, and explosives were reportedly confiscated from a group of smugglers in a Mediterranean-area operation. It is written in the Aramaic laguage with gold letters and onto loosely-tied leather.

The Bible that contradicts the New Testament teachings of Christianity is reportedly valued up to 40 million Turkish Liras (about $28m). While authenticity of the book is still under question some experts and religious authorities believe that it is original. However, some scholars branded the Gospel of Barnabas Bible a forgery written during the Middle Ages. Meanwhile, the Vatican has asked Turkish authorities to let them examine the contents of the book.

The new discovery to me was never a means to fault the belief system of Christianity rather a very important artifact that rewrite history long forgotten.
Before now christians only referred to Jesus as son of God but now many call him God the scenario of calling Jesus God is very recent and a need to address this become important.

Please, without offensive nor abusive comments, contribute your view about this and how the said Ancient Bible should be adopted or discarded.

PoliticsPoll: Should Buhari Devalue Naira? by Arjeeni(op): 2:20pm On Feb 22, 2016
– the naira is on a free fall against the dollar and other international currencies
– the situation is complicated by the fall in the price of oil in the international market
– President Muhammadu Buhari is under pressure to devalue the nair

Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Should Buhari devalue the naira?

In the beginning….

Nigeria has had a long history with naira devaluation. As an international currency, the naira has had the misfortune of being bench marked with American dollar. But every attempt to devalue the Naira has met with disaster, sorrow, tears and blood as the late Afro beat musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti. But the story of the naira has not always been this bad. That the naira will also become an underdog to the dollar is something naira itself would never have imagine. In this country, there was a time when the naira competed with the dollar. For years, the Naira had rubbed shoulder with the dollar. In the 1970s, during the oil boom years, the naira was on the same level with the dollar.

Second Republic and the birth of a profligate nation But the cookies began to crumble after the oil boom years. In 1979, the then General Olusegun Obasanjo had transferred power to the civilian government of the Second Republic under President Shehu Shagari. Then the politicians went to town. All the money that was saved from the oil boom years was squandered. Corruption assumed a new height as politicians stole the country blind. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter It was Ibrahim Babangida who first devalued the naira That was the era when politicians stashed their stolen wealth in banks and abroad. When the military struck four years after, the country had gone bankrupt. In four years, Nigeria’s external reserve has been depleted by profligate politicians and their cronies. The entire critical infrastructure like power, roads, and healthcare had gone comatose because of lack of investment. In four years, the politicians had pocketed the money meant for development. Then economy went on a free fall with the Naira as the major victim. As the once thriving manufacturing sector became moribund, Nigerians began to import everything from exotic wines to toothpick. In the four years of Shagari government, politicians engaged in wanton conspicuous consumption. They stopped patronizing locally made goods and instead preferred to by foreign goods. It became so widespread that the many industries died. For example all the thriving textile industries died. During the First Republic, each of the regions was known for developing and harnessing natural resources unique to them. The Northern region was known for agriculture which gave birth to the groundnut pyramid. The Eastern region had coal and mined it in commercial quantity while the Western region invested in cocoa production. These products were exported in large quantity. President Buhari takes a concrete stand in naira devaluation They in turn brought foreign exchange to the country. But our leaders stop paying attention as the oil boom brought in more dollars than expected. The oil boom was so over whelming at a point that the then president, General Yakubu Gowon made his now (in) famous statement that Nigeria has so much money that it does not know how to spend it. But it was that oil dollars the politicians squandered and all the attendant issues that led to the devaluation of the naira. Nigeria’s military ruler at time, General Ibrahim Babanginda (retd) moved to devalue the Naira when he introduced the Structural Adjustment Programme with the popular acronym (SAP). The aftermath of the devaluation led to a widespread riot that grounded the nation. Since then, the story of the naira took a different turn.

The Babangida Years: Second-Tier Foreign Exchange Market (SFEM) SFEM was introduced as part of a package of IMF reforms as a bitter pill that was rammed down the throat of General Babangida. Hitherto, the naira exchanged for something like 90kobo to $1. By the time IBB left office in 1993, the naira was exchanging for N17 to $1.Then Bureau de Change was introduced into the economy. The Naira began to fall so freely that Nigerians in subsequent years did not trust any talk of further devaluation of the naira. Even the promise of industrialization never happened. The Sani Abacha Years To his credit, the naira was stable during the time he spent on power. The ‘official’ exchange rate of the naira to the dollar never changed from N22 to $1. Abacha introduced the Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (AFEM) in 1995 as a way for CBN to sell forex to end users at ‘market’ rates. While the government pegged the exchange rate at N22 to $, the demand far out weight the It is quite another thing to be able to satisfy all the people who will availability far outweigh the demand. Given that oil prices were below $20/barrel in this period, there was a very limited amount of dollars available. The government insistence at pegging the exchange rate is the reason for the proliferation of the forex black market. At one point, the naira was trading as high as N88 to $1 while the official rate remained at N22.But bankers have been getting their way around it. While the price of dollar against the naira is sold or bought at a different rate in the black market, it is a different ball in the banking halls. To devalue or not to devalue Over the years, the naira has been fluctuating depending on state of the economy. Indeed, our over-dependence on oil has made the situation complicated. As the Buhari administration faces one of the worst financial situations ever known since Nigeria’s independence, the government is yet again confronted with the Babangida era dilemma. The naira is a precarious situation since its first devaluation by the Babangida administration. But out leaders should have themselves to blame for not saving for the raining day. The same scenario that played out during the oil boom years is playing out today. When we made so much money on oil, our leaders spent as if there is no tomorrow. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Godwin Emefiele, CBN governor is in a lost battle to save the naira The reserve was emptied as recurrent expenditure skyrocketed. Now oil market has crashed the naira with it. The argument now is if the naira should be devalued. In refusing to devalue the naira, President Muhammadu Buhari seems to be haunted by the ghost of the Babangida era. It is a complicated issue.

The situation has been worsened by the fact that the country is not making any earning today because of the fall of oil. When a situation like this happens, we should have fallen back on our reserves. But unfortunately, we did not save (or we recklessly spent what we saved) during our surplus years and the government cannot meet its responsibilities. If you want to cook any propaganda remember that thorough research is the first thing to do not mere speculations.
The fact that a state is in debt does not rendered such state less performing.
I am in Lagos I know what Ambode doing in fact the rate at which Lagos state moving now no state is able to do that let me mention but few of the projects;
Ambode kicked off light Lagos last year and now no a single area Council left unlighted, the rehabilitation of ikorodu express road which is still going on, construction of Iyana Ipaja express road via Abule Egba still going on and construction of at least one inner road of all local Council in Lagos state still going on, unlike any other state, he equipped law enforcement agencies with modern equipments commissioned recently.
I am saying this emphatically that no state ever had a good networking road like Lagos in Nigeria and the quality of good work was equally superb.
And for the Lagos state got approved for loan in world Bank this year earn her prestigious position among other state because right now no state can.
All these projects was not a left over from Fashola administration, are projects newly commenced.

Who claimed that Lagos borrow money from any state in this country should provide evidence to back it up.

Hahaha dude you sound like a total nut job right now. Are you serious or just being comical right now? Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook was also a former CIA agent when he was in Harvard and living with his parents at the age of 19? Does that make any sense to you? Lol so you think you need to be a college graduate to become rich or invent anything? If that was the case don't you think every college graduate will be rich? Most of these guys dropped out of college to pursue their passion and devote every time towards it. Many were extremely brilliant young men with very high IQ, how else do you think they got into Harvard?? Guy pls stop displaying your ignorance online, it is actually annoying that there are folks like you in Nigeria who think like this.
Lolz. I am pretty sure that there are 1001 guru out there but no one could mentioned their names today, what Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates capitalized to be their achievement today can you prove that no one ever discovered that nor presented a paper about it before them?

And for insult of which you inherited from your parents be careful because it tells more about your background.

Similar scenario was that of Calculus theorem.
Calculus, Isaac Newton and Gottfried Leibniz independently invented calculus in the mid-17th century. However, each inventor claimed that the other one stole his work in a bitter dispute that continued until the end of their lives.

Do you know what Gottfried Leibniz face and how Newton was today recognized as the right person to introduce modern Calculus.

There were later articles which actually confirm that Gottfried Leibniz was indeed right, and his theory was later prioritized at advernce level of Calculus.

Non of the celebrities today in the field of science/technology will ever achieved anything should they go against a central course which largely determine to an extent the level of their so called achievement.

Are you that naive? If you are hell ent in viewing every humanitarian efforts by the Gates as some new world order attempt to reduce the population, tell the Russians to show the "leaked" document they have in their possession or they should shut the hell up.

The very first time I red this article, it wasn't appeal to me but later I found it worthwhile and people need to be informed about the evils done against humanity by the west.
About two decades now, when HIV/AIDS came to Nigeria though it has been in existence before then in foreign countries. So many articles were published and today most of the hypothesis the articles posited come to pass and the very one worth noted was the possibility that HIV was cooked in the laboratory and in fact it was a deliberate efforts by the west to reduce the world population.
If Zika virus thoroughly investigated, some of the points in this article will not far from the truth.
Just like a day before we have HIV, yesterday Ebola, today Lasa and Zika virus who knows what will tomorrow brings if not total eradication to humanity. God forbid it!

HealthRussia Accuses Bill Gates Of Engineering The Zika Virus As A ‘Bioweapon’ by Arjeeni(op): 9:37am On Feb 14, 2016
The Zika virus is a bioweapon that is using GMO (genetically modified) mosquitoes to spread ‘future diseases’ according to a Kremlin report. And the finger of blame is being pointed squarely at Bill Gates accordiing to Disclose.tv. It is understood the bioweapon was developed by Bill Gates to achieve his self-confessed Illuminati goal of depopulating the world. According to a leaked highly confidential Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report that has been read by sources in the Kremlin, it has been revealed that the Zika virus was ‘cooked up as a bioweapon’ by ‘world governments and non-government organizations.’ It is understood the chief non-government organization behind the Zika virus is Bill Gates’ own Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

President Putin is said to be ‘angered.’ There have been meetings in the past 24 hours regarding banning Gates from the Russian Federation, as well as plans to protect humanity from the ‘world government created bioweapon.’ ‘GMOs are humanity’s mortal enemy and these agents won’t be happy until most of us are dead.’ ‘Western powers are in their final death throes, thrashing about and clutching at straws, using the last weapons in their arsenal of dirty tricks against humanity. We must not allow these GMO serial killers to poison our children.’

In 2010, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation funded Australian research scientists to release GMO mosquitoes infected with a bacterium. That same year, Bill Gates confessed he wanted to depopulate the world – a key Illuminati goal. “The world today has 6.8 billion people; that’s headed up to about 9 billion,” he said during the invitation-only 2010 TED Conference. “Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent.” Now those bacterium-infected GMO mosquitoes created by Bill Gates in 2010 are wreaking havoc in the Americas – with the whole globe at risk, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

The WHO is now convening an Emergency Committee under International Health Regulations concerning the ‘explosive’ spread of the Zika virus throughout the Americas. The virus reportedly has the potential to reach pandemic proportions — possibly around the globe. But understanding why this outbreak happened is vital to stopping it. The finger of blame is pointing squarely at the richest man in the world. What are they going to do about it?
