Travel / Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Arlanda: 3:35pm On Sep 05, 2023
I need information on how to get the I-601, waiver form for ground of Inadmissibility.

Will the consular officer give it to me when I apply for visitors visa?
Travel / Application For Waiver Of Grounds Of Inadmissible- AMERICA by Arlanda: 5:40pm On Sep 03, 2023
Nigeria is the most populous Africa country and it is safe to say. We have the highest numbers of visa applications in the continent.

Consequently, many Nigerians have been deemed inadmissible to many western countries. Top of the list are US, Canada, UK and EU. Due to one mistake or the other. Whether, knowingly or unknowingly you committed a visa crime in any of the embassies.

This thread is to gather information from victims. How were you able to overcome this challenge when banned.

In particular reference to the US inadmissible waiver application form.

Please share your experience and information. Has anyone ever apply for the US waiver application.

Travel / Re: How I Migrated To From Nigeria To Portugal by Arlanda: 8:01pm On May 09, 2023
Bayobishow:

For anyone who wants to migrate to portugal through study. The first thing you should do is to
1. Apply to the school (you must have searched out the school you feel that you can afford) and wait for names to be published. Once your name comes out, then you can the begin the real process.

Next is to
Take all educational certificate to the Ministry of education and foreign affairs (both can be done same day, for those who stays outside Abuja.

When you are thru there, you will then begin with the embassy
At the embassy, you will have to do the verification process when you submit your documents(Result) there. The embassy will send your documents to NUC, then the NUC will then send it to your school, then when the school finishes, the school will send it back to NUC, then NUC will send it to the Embassy. If everything goes well, it is then that the embassy will give you a call to come and apply.

what you need are
1. a valid passport (make copies of the data page when going there)
2. a completed application form (you can watch my video on my youtube channel (How to fill out Portugal visa application )
3. two coloured passport photographs
4. copy of the school certificates that was authenticated(stamped) at the foreign affairs. For those who did their BSc outside Nigeria, you have to get from the country where you finished from
5. Acceptance letter from the school you applied in Portugal
6. Evidence of accommodation in Portugal ( you can go to booking.com and do that, then later cancel it or you request from the school you applied to, they might help you)
7. Proof of financial capability

You can as well go online, all are listed there. You will see all

I hope it helps

But someone who is already in Europe and he is with all his academic certificates. How can he legalise the certificate when he is not in Nigeria.

What's your timeline please? Was your medical passed? And which part of Europe did you apply from?

I applied from Sweden.

He / She is about getting permanent residency in 2 months oooo...

Anyways @ Arlanda I think you should take Mrprolifik's advice, his a guru here.

That was why I asked why not go for direct PR or PNP? Mind you age isn't a barrier mayb u should tackle that.

But you staying in another country as TR is one of the reasons u were refused. Please wait 2 months and collect your PR for Europe oo then make a decision on your Canada waka.

I wish you all the best.

Contact MrProlifik directly or makano or frankrobben.

Thanks for your advice

In addition to what you have been told about GCMS notes, you can order for it by visiting the link below:

I was also refused on insufficient fund and "the purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application"

My case- I have full funding worth 50,000 CAD per year, and presented 5million account statement from my sponsor.

I applied for a masters program (a second masters degree).

Please house I need advice on what to do differently as I plan to reapply. Thanks

Where did you apply

Global Case Management System (gcms).
GCMS Notes provide valuable information on the current status and future processing of your application.
Hence, the only way to know the most detailed information of your application or refusal is by requesting GCMS Notes.
Only individuals present in canada can help you request for your GCMS notes. Some of the gurus can assist you on the request.

Okay.

With your status, why not go for PNP or direct PR?

I have tried to explore this root before. Even with my masters, age is not on my side. I am 37.

While my first advice is to order for GCMS notes, I will ask some questions relating to the points raised above as the reasons for refusing your visa application.

1. What is your status in your current country of residence. What is your status history?

2. Only you can give us more details about this.

3. How financially established are you in that country? Can you work with your status there?

Thanks for your reply.

What exactly is GCMS notes and how do I order for it.

I am currently on work permit. I studied masters here 5 years ago and since then, I have been on work permit.

I will be applying for a permanent residence 2 months from now and my current permit expires by December.

Where I disagreed with them is my financial status. I have paid 50 percent of my tuition and I have up to 25million naira in my European bank account. I also received money monthly in salary.

My current job might not aligned with my academic profession. I am an accountant
and my current role differ. But I don't think this should be the ground for refusal. That I am not financially stable.

I disagreed with them on this.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Arlanda: 3:16pm On Jun 13, 2022
I greet everybody

I was refused a study permit today. First time applicant and I applied in Europe.

The reasons they gave for the refusal are:

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the section-216.html).

I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:

• Your immigration status outside your country of nationality or habitual residence.

• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.

• Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in
your country of residence.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements.

Please, I need advice on how to tackle these concerns next time.

For Canada study visa, you have to show proof of your first year tuition and 10,000CAD for your living expenses. Unfortunately, 1 million Naira which is equivalent to 3,150CAD is insufficient to embark on this project. Your best decision is to look out for other cheaper European countries.

It will end in praise.

Happy New Year
I need advice on what to do.

I have 2/2 in my undergraduate and obtained MSc. I want to do another MSc programme in Canada, in education field.

My concern is the undergraduate CGPA, I learnt you need 2.1 to gain direct admission into master's programmes in Canada.

I was thinking if I can do post graduate certificate in Canada, will it not be a problem when am applying for visa, as I already have MSc. Again, the reason I have chosen the PGC is because of my CGPA, I can't gain direct admission with my BSc.
