I'm not dazed by Ribadu's defection to PDP and I'm surprised that he's on his way to meet with the same people he sent to jail or once indicted like Bode George,Fani Kayode, Fayose, Igbinedon, Borisade, and Alao Akala. That's politics for you. He too was betrayed by Tinubu and other Defunct ACN bigwigs during 2011 Presidential election. Even lost in Lagos State where ordinarily he was expected to win. In politics, there's no permanent friend nor foe but permanent interest. Nigerian Youth should wise up and stop insulting one another on social media. Our disunity is what is giving politicians upper hand over us. When Jonathan wants to give out government contract, he gives it out to the ex militants at the detriment of the people of Niger-
Delta. When Northern Governors want to give out
government contract, they give it out to few political
elite at the expense of the vastly populated Almajiris. PDP and APC are conglomeration of oppressors, exploiters and subjugators. Let's stop discussing about politicians and focus on developmental issues that will benefit the East, West, North and South. God bless
Nigeria! Mind you, I stand to be corrected!

Christianity Etc › Re: Nigeria’s Oldest Pastor, Samuel Sadela, Dies At 114yrs by Aromas: 9:25am On Aug 27, 2014
bcomputer101: Indications emerged on Tuesday that the Founder and President of the Gospel Apostolic Church, Pa Samuel Sadela, has passed on.

He was aged 114.

Although a senior pastor in the church reportedly claimed that the man described as one of Nigeria’s oldest pastors could still be receiving treatment in a hospital, he was said to have died in the premises of the church in Lagos.

As of the time of this report at 9.15pm press time on Tuesday, an official statement was still being awaited even as the church was said to have opened a condolence register for the man of God who remained sensational even as a very old man.

Sadela was of the Apostolic stock of Christianity.

His pastoral calling started in 1928 when he visited the famous Prophet Moses Orimolade of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.

When he marked his 113th last year birthday, the aged pastor had expressed hope to live up to 200 years of age.

Afghanistan: NYSC- National Youth Sex Clique. You go there a virgin and you come back disvirgined, females go there with a flat belly and come back with a bump. You go there a good guy and come back a bad guy. I'm sorry bro, that girl is gone as she has found a better person. Just move on with your life. Same thing happened to my girl and she just came back a totally different person. We've parted ways and I've moved on from there after I discovered the GUYS she slept with in camp.

Education › Re: OAU Fees Hike Struggle: Management Places Union Leaders On Probation by Aromas: 6:12pm On Aug 21, 2014
Danhumprey: Why have some people/students refuse to learn? The fact is,the leadership of this country's tertiary institutions are stone-hearted and kinda stubborn. They don't care about students protesting/rioting against one thing or the other. They will just keep quiet and watch the students riot, injure themselves, vandalise school properties and when they(the school leadership) feels that the situation has gotten out of hand, and security breakdown is imminent, they will just slam an indefinite suspension on school activities and close down the school. When the school is re-open,students will be ask to pay for all the damages done to school properties during their protest. And after that everything return to normal,as it was before the suspension. Little or nothing change.

From the look of things in Nigeria tertiary institutions, student unionism,protests/riots are just waste of time. It doesn't change anything.
What is the way out Oga?

Family › Re: Are Kids Of Nowadays Growing Up Too Fast? by Aromas: 5:27am On Aug 18, 2014
greatgod2012: Early education, media/gadgets and level of exposure are the main causes of this seemingly speedy growth with our urban/city kids, go to a remote village and see where a 10-12 years old kid still in his/her pants and delights to play with sand, uses bottle crown as a pot, while the content being cooked is leaves soaked in sandy water and broken brooms/match-sticks as firewood.......lol.......

I was at a place with my daughter in my profile pics, she's just 5.5 years old, and was referring to a girl of almost double of her age a "small girl" because the said girl was eating rice with bare hands......lol, i quickly shut her up, so that the other girl won't feel bad........ Abeg, exposure ni jare.
Our kids are exposed to too many things that are supposed to be acquinted with adults and that's why they reason like adults when they are still suppose to be kids.
May God help us and our kids jare.
