Why can't the north leave and create Islamic republic like Pakistan or Afghanistan and leave the others alone? You already have the sharia system.

You are more related to people in Chad and Niger than the people in Lagos or Cross River.

You know the north cannnot win without input from the SW, SE or SS, so why are you all about.

If not for Lugard....

"...Since 1914 the British Government has been trying to make Nigeria into one country, but the Nigerian people themselves are historically different in their backgrounds, in their religious beliefs and customs and do not show themselves any sign of willingness to unite, Nigerian unity is only a British intention for the country. * Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa speaking at the Legislative Council in 1948..."

Our people will still troll them and curse Nnamdi kanu if they seek for Biafra?
why do keep doing this?? You think nairalanders are daft or what??
Why not be proud of your igbo origin? Must impersonate??

You people should continue your agitation. Biafra will come. It's Biafra or nothing

It will be better for you guys to focuse more on Biafra.

I wish you guys all the best... As for presidency

Make una forget that one.

How I wish PDP will make an igbo man their flag bearer!

So that we'll make you guys understand how unripe the south east is for presidency.

i heard from a good source that some people have been mobilized to de market Buhari online (not hard at all) and promote ElRufai against 2023. I just hope you’re not among those making that mistake cool

#Osinbajo2023
Stupidity is when northerners speak for PMB/APC you call it religious and ethnic bigotry.

When they speak against his government you start calling it some kind of conspiracy.

If we want to campaign for Elrufai we will do it chest up!

Maybe you still don't know northerners... We are not chameleons.
We are straight forward.

Elrufai already had made it clear that he is not interested in presidency that it should go to the south.

Where is this your conspiracy theory coming from?

It shows that you people are not even after the sufferings Nigerians are passing through at this critical time.
Your eyes is only on the presidency... This is pathetic!

You don't love Buhari more than we do.
But the truth is that he is failing his own people.

Buhari should sit up even Tinubu is speaking up because he knows that the north is angry!

If Buhari is doing well... Nobody in the north will dare criticize him!

Buhari is the only man that can pave way for any southerner in the north.

Go and check northern political history... We play straight politics and we are politically united

Didn't we vote Abiola and reject our own Bashir tofa? Bashir tofa even lost his home town to Abiola. What of Obasanjo?

That's northerners for you!

Now you are accusing us of conspiracy? That we are criticizing Buhari because we want to bring in Elrufai.

We don't play that kind of politics here!

Parsonally I prefer Osibanjo cos I believe in his intellectual capacity.

Good!

This is what I have been expecting from Jagaban!

No be to just dey wait for 2023.

Buhari is killing that party so they have to act!

His popularity in the north is gradually fading away.

I don't know who's advising Buhari... But something is serious wrong somewhere.

I'm highly disappointed in this government. Highly highly disappointed.

even when u meet igbos that can't speak proper English, they'll still speak pidgin.... Though they usually think everyone in d east are igbos and like to converse in igbo language, and will smile and revert to English if u tell them u're not igbo.

I knew this when I went to nnaka village, ekwulobia in Anambra state too.

I'm yoruba, not igbo.
depends on the people you meet...

You don't because of the few people you meet in kastina to judge the whole northern region.

But I must agree that academically the south is ahead of the north.

But what we want you to know is that our people are not sleeping.

Education is already taking over the north.

Believe we are going to top the south academically within a very short period of time.

Southerners no longer believe much in education unlike before... They have this slogan "school na scam" and it has already started affecting your educational foundation.

You guys better sit up!

Liar.
Nnobi is a semi Urban area.
It's nearly impossible to find anyone in busy Nnobi who doesn't at least speak and understand pidgin.
It has to be the very old women and men in the villages who would most likely have younger ones tending them who themselves can easily communicate in English or pidgin.

Stop with the stupid lies to win an argument.
keep deceiving yourself and those who haven't been there.

I meet many people there who don't understand English... Asusu igbo ka Anyi ji akapari...

Stop trying to defend when you already know the truth.

based on the people you meet.

When I visited Anambra for a burial when a very good friend of mine lost his dad...in a town called Nnobi.

We meet many Igbos that couldn't communicate in English. I went there together with my friends the person I went
Luckily I can speak igbo very well. Imagine if I don't know how to speak igbo.

And you Igbos want everybody to believe that you're all educated.

Another emotional response, no substance of factual submissions once again, surely we can't have a intelligent conversation. I recognize there exist poverty and backwardness in the SE as is the case nationwide, but we are talking about the proportionality here... if we have to do it the number ratio way, I would easily tell you that for every 5 poor and backward situations in the East... There are probably 20 more across the North. So we are still saying the same thing in essence--which is that there's no indices you can mention where the North is better than the SE, NONE whatsoever.
In terms of development... Kano alone is more developed than the entire south east put together.

Your rebuttals unlike fulanimafia have mostly been emotive and devoid of measured inputs of facts. Let me posit the simple question to you as someone earlier challenged you to,

On what basis, aspects, indices (facts and figures) and metrics are the North "far better" than the SE? provide your facts through any researched contents available. It's within your prerogative to call the NBS stats fake etc, but lots of credible information from international bureaus done on Nigerias sustainability index, poverty stats etc have always highlighted how poorly the Northern states in all its geopolitical zones have fared compared to the SE. What other facts do you want to have?
I refused to follow any southern propaganda!

I believe in observation!

I have traveled when to the south east and I can feel the presence of poverty and backwardness.

The plight of the millions of poor people in the south is hidden in the perception and the belief that poverty is a northern problem.

HDI statistics by NBS is primarily based on states and not on geopolitical zone, it's from d states indexes that geopolitical zone indexes are drawn.

Bros, stop using population as an excuse, it's neausatiing. If u had a highly developed populace, u wouldn't be ranting over it, and as a matter of fact, north and south almost have d same number of people... Why do u think indexes of the north is abysmally poor compared to d south?

It's all about spending on human development by govt, when ur govts are spending on mass marriages and religious pilgrimages, many southern govts were investing in mass education in their respective states.

We appreciate ur new breed of govt for investing in education... People like former gov shettima and zulum will forever be appreciated by me.
Abeg spare me that!

Who are the people concocting this fake stats??

In reality the north is in every aspect more better than the south east.

Stop deceiving each with all these fake stats.

The north is today is far better than south east you can only deceive those that haven't been to the east

Of course the East can not compete with the North on any of those metrics or HDI's because it's population is dwarfed greatly by that of the North and ALL the metrics you've stated are calculated on Per-Capita Basis. I expect you understand what that means.
