Investment / MMM Empire, ‘unlimited Percent’ Ponzi Scheme Review by asala1: 6:16pm On Apr 05, 2017 |
How do you make it big running a Ponzi scheme? Well you can ask owners of MMM Empire, an exact clone of the collapsed MMM Nigeria. The speed at which you can start your own Ponzi scheme these days is now faster than before. No doubt about it, it is illegal, dodgy and it always fails, however, for those who are behind a scheme such as MMM Empire, it is their runway to make it big in the era of recession and lack. MMM Empire must have bought the web script of MMM Nigeria from many chat forums where Ponzi scheme softwares are peddled for mostly less than USD200 for all modules including the source codes. Whatever major popular Ponzi scheme you want to mimick does not matter, whether it has collapsed does not matter, just get a hold of the software and slam a name on it, you are in ‘business’ Such is the story of MMM Empire. For those who will be getting involved with this scheme, there is no different experience you should be expecting. It is a Ponzi scheme that will surely collapse, just like MMM Nigeria. This is the first red flag: owners of this scheme are not precise with their investors. They are advertising 50%, 80% and 100% return on investment. There is no guarantee that they can deliver on any of these promises. The site is also a bad clone of MMM Nigeria. Apart from the naming of the site, other copy were not any different. The mugshot of the Supreme Leader of the MMM Nation, Sergey Mavrodi, is still adorning the site. All other copies on the site are exactly ‘as is’ on the MMM Nigeria site. This shows how ‘serious’ its owners are with what they are doing. The site was registered on the 29th of January, 2017. This is the same week investors of MMM Nigeria realised they have been taken to the cleaners. A Ponzi scheme analysts said the owners of MMM Empire might be one of the folks who have built an empire out of their share of the MMM money. There is no guarantee that these clones and many other standalone scheme will stop cropping up. What is guaranteed is their failure. However, owners of these schemes often end up recouping wherever they have invested setting up this ‘business’. Its investors/affiliates often end up holding the empty bag. https://pageone.ng/2017/04/05/mmm-empire-ponzi-scheme-review/ |
Politics / IPOB: A Delusion Taken Too Far - Charles Ibekwe by asala1: 10:23pm On Apr 04, 2017 |
The puerile announcement by the Indigenous People of Biafra that it will boycott the Special Board of Inquiry set up by the Nigerian Army to investigate allegations of right abuses is both laughable and saddening at the same time. It is laughable because it exposed the comical side of the fraud that has been presented as a struggle for self-determination by a narrow group that has exploited the silence of the greater number of Igbo people as acquiescence. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/04/ipob-delusion-taken-far/ 29 Likes 3 Shares

Business / GE Sole Bidder For $2 Billion Nigeria Rail Concession by asala1: 3:45pm On Mar 30, 2017 |
ABUJA (Reuters) – A consortium led by General Electric <GE.N> submitted the only bid for a Nigerian railway concession project worth around $2 billion (1.60 billion pounds) for two lines connecting northern cities to others in the south, a procurement process adviser said on Wednesday. Bids had to be submitted by Wednesday. Nigeria has been looking for partners to overhaul its ageing railway system, built mainly by British colonial rulers before independence in 1960. Economic growth in Africa’s most populous nation has been hampered for decades by the dilapidated road and rail network. The concession will cover about 3,500 km (2,200 miles) of existing narrow-gauge lines from the southwestern commercial capital, Lagos, to Kano in the north, and southeastern oil hub Port Harcourt to Maiduguri in the northeast. “We received one bid today,” said Fola Fagbule, vice president and co-head of advisory at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) which ran a procurement process after being appointed lead adviser by the government. The only bid, led by GE, was in partnership with Transnet [CGETR.UL] of South Africa, Dutch-based APM Terminals and China’s Sinohydro Consortium. Nigeria’s upper chamber of parliament, the Senate, said in November it would investigate the railway concession over possible violations by Nigerian officials. http://www.euronews.com/2017/03/29/ge-sole-bidder-for-2-billion-nigeria-rail-concession-procurement-adviser 1 Like |

Religion / Where Is The New STD Pst Adeboye Prophesied Will Appear In 2016? -Ijabla Raymon by asala1: 10:49pm On Dec 30, 2016 |
In his prophecies for 2016, Pastor Adeboye prophesied that a new STD (sexually transmitted disease) will surface in 2016. I challenged him to name the new STD and the reader is welcome to read my full response. If Adeboye was referring to the Zika virus then it is evidently clear that he relies on news media to formulate his prophecies, in which case why call him a prophet? This is because medical researchers had announced towards the end of 2015 (well before Adeboye's prophecy in January 2016) that the Zika virus can be transmitted through sex. And to be clear, the Zika virus was identified in Uganda in 1947. It is not new. I know there is still one day left till the end of 2016 but where is the new STD that Pastorpreneur Adeboye said God told him will be discovered in 2016? Adeboye had also prophesied concerning Nigeria that "things will definitely get better before the year ends." I cannot speak for all persons living in Nigeria but I am not sure Nigerians have had it worse than this year - the prices of food and commodities have increased two to three folds whilst salaries have remained static. The only people who can afford to keep smiling in these austere times are those who make a living out of lying and selling false hope to the downtrodden. If hell were real it should be populated with such people. Will Nigerians allow themselves to continue to be lied to, preyed upon and exploited by self-styled prophets of God in 2017? How much longer before they realise that the God they think speaks to their pastors only exists in their imaginations? Why is belief a virtue and common sense is not? Ijabla is a medical doctor and a humanist. He writes from the U.K. http://saharareporters.com/2016/12/30/where-new-std-pastor-adeboye-prophesied-will-appear-2016-ijabla-raymond 1 Like |
