Biden defeated Trump because they preferred another white guy to him. It does not matter that those who think this way are not majority of Americans but enough to decide who becomes elected.

Kamilla Harris should be the obvious choice but if Biden withdrew, the so-called independent voters will push Trump in again. If they think Biden is too frail, wait until after election to push Kamilla in.

Who are the people advising our leaders? They are always going the wrong direction. How many solar panels do the Netherlands produce? They don’t even produce enough solar panels for their country. China is the world leader in solar panel production. They account for about 78% of the world’s output. If you need solar power and don’t go to China, you are just joking or playing politics.

Same mistake going to Germany (Siemens Energy) for power. These people can’t build all these infrastructure anymore, especially outside their continent and not in places as unstable as Nigeria. The project will still be in the feasibility stage for the next 4 years as it was in the past. If you are serious about power infrastructure, you go to China. For example, China has added more energy to its national grid in the last 4 years than the entire German installed energy capacity since it inception.

Instead of awarding the project to the Chinese, they are awarding to Siemens. The project will be in the feasibility stage until their term is over.

The minimum thickness of a plate is about a quarter-inch thick (i.e. 6.35 mm thick). The thickness of steel sheets used to make car bodies is between 0.6 mm and 1.2 mm. You clearly don't know enough to argue about this subject.

You are funny, trying to make an argument that IVM makes body parts for their assembled cars while in reality, they don't have the capacity to do that. In fact, no indigenous car company in Nigeria that has the capacity to stamp and make body parts. That's a fact.

I think it is better for you to keep away from something you clearly don't understand or know nothing about. Building cars is not your strong area. For one, nobody uses steel plates to make car bodies, they use sheets. Also, what do "steel plate cutters" have to do with forming and blanking parts? Africans and glory hunting. Taking credit for what you don't or can't do.

Jet motor Company is an indigenous company founded in 2017 and based in Lagos. They company is also nickname the "Tesla of Africa" because they are the only indigenous company Nigeria producing electric vehicles. Currently, I only know of one line of vehicle in production in the company - the Jet mover (pictures below) and it electric version. They also have another version of the jet mover that runs on CNG. The jet mover is very popular among long range travellers.

If you watch the video you will see most of the parts are just off the press and has not even been welded together.

They don’t have the stamping press that’s why they are ‘keeping it secret’. What you are seeing in the assembly plant is what is called the completely knocked down (CKD) kits. You start from spot welding the parts and assemble the rest like a Lego. I’m not trying to minimize what they do, which I think is commendable but that’s what they do.

Can you show me one picture of a functioning automobile stamping press for producing body parts and frames anywhere in Nigeria? Just one, not even from IVM but from any factory in Nigeria.

Nope most of the frame and body parts are produced in house. Engine, gearbox, brainbox and stuff like steering and sits are imported.

You clearly don’t know what you are talking about. To make the frames and the body parts, they will need to have gigantic presses to blank and form metal sheets into shapes of the body parts. IVM clearly don’t have the capacity to do this. Besides, unless they are able to sell tens or hundreds of thousands of each version of their cars, the cost for making many forming molds for different parts of the cars is enormous and won’t be profitable. As I mentioned before, IVM import all the parts from the car manufacturer in China, put them together in their plant, paint them and rebadge for sale in Nigeria.

Innoson Manufacturing is an assembly plant for semi-knocked-down parts. They buy semi-knocked-down parts from the car manufacturer in China without the logo. They get their logo made somewhere in China. They assemble the parts and put their logo on it. This is their business.

Not true. They buy from different OM markets and put together. They don't buy 100% brand cars and assemble here. This would expose the brand to liability for a product over which it has no control.

You don't understand how cars are built. They get semi-knocked down parts from the car manufacturers in China, assemble them in the plant here and rebrand them as theirs. Chinese manufacturers don't care as long as their selling their cars. They can even come and help the companies establish their assembly plant. Liability you say? You are funny.

I'm just stating the fact, bro. I don't mean to demoralize anyone. Besides, the Chinese are making great cars. In fact, China overtook Japan this year as the top automobile-exporting country, so people are buying their vehicles. Most Dangote trucks are from Sinotruc China and most of the transit buses in Nigeria are from BYD or SMIC— both Chinese companies.

There are Chinese equivalents for all those "Made-in-Nigeria" cars. So me any one of these cars and I will show you the Chinese version.

I'm not deceiving anyone, most of the cars from the "indigenous car manufacturers" are just rebranded cars from China. The only difference between Nigeria-branded cars and their Chinese counterparts is the logo. I know this for sure.

What does my comment have to do with growing Nigeria? It’s a fact that many of the companies listed above import cars from China and rebrand them for sale in Nigeria. I didn’t say the quality of Chinese cars are bad, I’m just stating the fact that there nothing indigenous about most of the cars.

All their cars are imported from China and rebranded for sell in Nigeria. It’s possible that they are getting their logos from Japan, I don’t know.

IVM, NORD and many of the ‘Indigenous’ car companies all sell rebranded Chinese cars.
