For those applying for PGD. I think it's advisable to apply for a 2 year program.. Because the V.O might probably think someone going for a year program could be desperate to run out of Nigeria. My thought.. Bosses in the house. What do you guys thiNk about my submission |

Frankrobbn1: .
Check the admission requirements from the University webpage. Canadians institutions minimum requirement is 2.1 CPGA, if your grade point is up to this, you can fit in for a Masters degree. While some schools usually checks your last 2 years in the University. So explore more on the school webpage, possibly email the admission office. alright. Thanks |

Clahws: Hi Nairalanders, I got admission into Conestoga. I have graduated from school since 2009. I have been out of school for 9 years, though I did an online course with an American University that lasted for 6 months in 2015. I want to apply for TRV with my uncle and his daughter as co-sponsors. They both have treasury bills worth 25,000,000 between them. Uncle is a retired pensioner and has 4 landed properties. Cousin is gainfully employed and is a manager in a federal parastalsas. I have no landed property(My mother has a house though), and I have 2.3 million in my account. What are the documents I need and what are my chances of getting a TRV. in this kind of situation. You gave to provide an extremely STRONG SOP kus your chances of getting TRV seems slim. Well I'm not discouraging you bro.. |

I hope I won’t be denied entry because of the length of time before my program commences? . Goodday sir. If I may ask did you get ur TRV for University or college. |

cuteesthy: Microbiology with 2.2 Dalhousie uni and UPEI offer the course also USASk and Langara college. I'm.very sure of that. I doubt if you'll be accepted into university with 2.2. Try Langara college. Possiblity if securing admisdion into Langara High compared to the uni mentioned above. |

jnyuwa02: Sorry been away from online a few days now. What' going on? I will try and catch up. Yes I was persecuted and stood my ground. I remember one belligerent critic of me garnering 36 likes for an epistle he wrote about me. I continued to help people here regardless. Then people started to testify left and right that they won their TRV due to my help. Even those who persecuted me started to approach me for help. One moniker here I remembered famously coined them "two faced." Now I can't even keep up with the PMs. Anyways keep up the good work bro. After 5 Months since I filed my application, I was called for medicals last week. Half down, half to go. USASK Fall 2018. Jesus is Lord!!! congrats man |

Slik07: You've a BSc and you want to go for a PGD instead of Master's? No career progression. The VO will see this and question if you're truly a genuine student.
It's a smart move if you've been working in a bank (non-engineering/IT-related department) for instance with your Engineering BSc and this PGD is in line with your current position in the bank. In your SOP, you can explain this change of career and progression and TRV will fall on you. It's doable! thanks for ur advice. Blessing fall on you . Ill go for masters . By the way, Are you in Canada ? |

Slik07: That is ok. But I dont encourage people to apply to only one university. You can apply to 2 or 3 to spread your chances.
MUN, Ryerson, USASK etc., can offer you admission with that CGPA if you package your application well.
Best of luck. alright. Thanks man. I'm planning of applying to Conestoga college. Do you think thats a smart move ? |

Slik07: Yes. That can get you an offer if the university is not highly competitive.
Note that to get Master's/PhD offer is not dependent on CGPA alone. There are other factors to be considered such as Resume, SOP & LOR etc. The university is mount saint Vincent University. Nova Scotia |
