Sincerely. I don't know how to advice you concerning your academic profile.. Kus your chances of admission in extremely slim for masters. Not even talking of PHD..going to a college is totally zero. I won't advice you on that.. Except you wanna silent you Masters during Visa application. Put your age into consideration 2nd masters may not fly due to 58% u had in ur masters, even if you gain admission..gbege fit happen between you and V.O (purpose of visit) while there's no way for PHD. asin no way at all.. Boss..No disrespect nor discouragement. My advice Trust me. But there's always a possibility.. Mayboy: thanks for the response... please what will you advice me to do? |

Let us be honest.Forget PHD. U cant see PHD for 58%. Requirement for phd is at least 77% in most Canadian universities.last price for masters is 70%.Talk less of PHD.. You may try ur luck sir.. Mayboy: Good evening boss(es) in the house. please I'm in of help/ guidance concerning Canada. I wish to progress my education, if possible work in Canada. I have bsc ed in Economics with 2.2 grade, M.ed in curriculum studies and I'm presently working as coordinating officer in one Organization. I have my eyes on UBC for my studies but I'm having issues choosing which program to go for. I have 58% in my master (long essay) please guide me on necessary steps to take if I can apply for between PhD,MPhil or pre-PhD programs? thanks. please help your guy. |

kingfintan.
I made a research concerning your course.
Fanshawe Algonquin Conestoga Mohawk Loyalist & Confederation. These colleges offer PGD in manufacturing engineering. And I think it's almost synonymous to production engineering.
Happy Sunday all.. |

Alright.. Thumbs up Frank. Frankrobbn1: Asapant,
16months masters huh? I never said its impossible okay, but your reasons for going for such duration of program must be justifiable and convincing. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Asapant: 12:06am On Apr 14, 2018 |
Welldone Boss Frank.R. i've been looking forward to your response since all these while. buh a 16 months masters flew this week for TRv. Frankrobbn1: Asapant
Sir, sorry for the late response okay. Well, I'm not a Visa officer nor a guru. But, I advise people based on experience and what I learnt so far on Canadian student visa.
If a masters degree applicant applied for a year program in Canada, the applicant must have a justifiable reason for going for a year (12 months) masters degree in Canada. Few out of applicants with a year masters degree program will scale through while majority will be refused based on length of stay in Canada and purpose of visit.
Applicant going for a 2 years PGD that is relevant to their previous discipline of study/job role because their CGPA wasn't up to the minimum 2.1 requirement for a masters degree program in Canada will easily scale through than an applicant going for a year masters degree in Canada.
All the best! |

Depends on the program choice.. Course based or Thesis and research ?? If you have a very high GPA in your last 2 years of study. You may be accepted. An outstanding Letter of intent may also do the magic. I'll advice you look at MUN, Uottawa, new.Brun, Usask. Also check Dalhousie university, Acadia & UPEI. Best of luck.. Gifty28: Good evening all, please do Canadian universities accept 2:2 for masters degree program? i think have asked this question before not sure i was answered. please i need responses |

Passport rather. Thanks ratawu. You too much Ratawu: I
Did you mean passport or password? For your questions; 1. The visa starts counting from the day it was issued. 2. The visa is just for him to enter Canada. The real study permit will be issued when he arrives Canada which will cover the duration of his program but if hos visa expires before be finishes his course and he want to leave Canada and return, he can apply for an extension in Canada. |

Good evening all.. Someome is to submit password this week for TRV approved. And school resumes September.
My question is
1.When does the Visa starts counting ?
2. The duration of the course is 16 months.. What will be the duration of the trv. Is it exactly 16 months, beyond or less ? |

Frank.R
1 year masters, which has academic consistency. UG related to intend masters program. Compared to PGd college 2 years UG related to pG course as well...
Do you think there's higher rate for TRV to fly for the PGD compared to masters of 1 year duration ?
Are you saying master of 1 year duration is likely to be questiond based on L.O.P stay ? |

Hi. Mr.V Dont take unnecessary risk. Simply go to your school, request for your official transcript and let them send it through courier to the school youre applying to. You will pay for the courier service and the transcript request.good mrversatile: Good day I applied to a university with an unofficial transcript which I scanned. I have requested for an official transcript from my school but I want to send it myself via fedex to avoid delay. How feasible will this be. |
