Absolutely rubbish... I see nothing but a sycophantic publication. it's high time NL started verifying similar articles before giving it a place on this platform. Truth be said, willy-nilly Rochas remains the most active and vibrant Governor in Nigeria.

GROUP COMMENDS NKWERRE TC CHAIRMAN FOR ENSURING RETURN OF POWER TO THE AREA

A group of young men and women ably led by Mr. Patrick Ugorji, the Nkwerre LGA APC youth leader has commended the TC chairman of Nkwerre LGA in Imo state, Barr. Paschal Onwukaike for wading into the prolonged power outage in the area and making conspicuous and laudable changes.

The youth leader noted that Nkwerre local government people especially her youths have suffered economic and social setback as a result of lack of electric power supply for over 9 months, adding that the recent development will spur the youths to go back to their various businesses and make more economic benefit. Also, Mr. Hope Ajoku from Umukabia acknowledged the effort of Barr. Paschal in the area of cleanliness, which has by extension engaged the youths positively and gainfully and therefore prayed God for more wisdom upon the Nkwerre No. 1 citizen.

Speaking further, Mr. Chukwuma Ekejiuba, a ward chairman, while thanking the TC chairman for his effort also reminded him of some areas (wards) in Nkwerre LG where the light has not reached owing to faulty connections and multiple faults along the network in the area.

Responding, Barr Paschal expressed happiness to the group for turning out in their numbers to appreciate his little effort. He maintained that serving his people meritoriously has always been his driving force. "A good leader should be able to know when his people is going through difficulties. 9 months without light is so regretted, nevertheless, I never kept quiet all this period, but I think I added more effort recently. I am poised to serve my people and ensure their comfort. Let everybody continue to support this government despite the general economic challenges"

He however promises to ensure close monitoring on the EEDC technical team until ongoing repair processes in those faulty areas are completed and power restored.
