I am at it again! The last time I had issue with my Toyota Camry 2008 XLE, their are different opinion of what really happen to the A/C, whether I should change the compressor to manual or maintain the follow come. After much deliberation, I finally replaced the compressor with the automatics compressor which i ordered from abroad. Now, after a year plus, the automatics compressor is bad again. My mechanics is advising me to change it to manual, but I am not too convinced with his opinion, Pls I need advice from the house from anyone with such experience. Its really hot hear in PH and honestly it been difficult driving the without AC. Thanks

@Iomomike: I have not really done anything serious in fixing the AC since he began this anomaly, except changing the gas. But I took the car to AC technician which he told me that my compressor is pack up and he advised me to replace with manual A/C or to Peugeot model and I told him I will be back. That what I have done so far, nothing else. As for the car, the AC is still working and sometimes it get hots too. Thanks.

Hi all, Please I need your assistance on my car air conditional. I just noticed that my car A/C is not working properly, sometimes it will be cooling and sometimes it become very hot. This anomaly do happen when I am in traffic and sometime it happen also when I am moving on normally. If i put off the A/C and on it back, it will continue to work properly again and most time it doesn't. Please, can anyone suggest to me what might likely be the problem and what solution should i adopt.

The car was imported some few month ago and it has never been drive here in Nigeria. The inverter pump was replaced, upon replacement, it was discorvered the gearbox was broken and the technician went to Ladipo market to get another gearbox. Since replacement of the gearbox, the car can not start and today I have directed him to replaced my old gearbox and return the car to former position. Their was nothing was so ever wrong with the car except for the broken gearbox. Thanks
