And the strategy is working for them at the moment.

Redmi Note 10 Pro is hot cake and highly in demand.

So you either get Redmi Note 10 Pro with Mi Band 5 or you forget it.

Some vendors who agreed to sell Redmi Note 10 Pro without Mi Band 5 want to add 10k extra and some decided to have you buy it without the mi band 5 but you still have the make full payment.

I can understand the price of other retailers that source FX outside the official window but if Xiaomi source FX at the official window where rate is stable, I don't see or understand why the price jump up.

Please, my fellow bloggers and digital marketers, I have a serious question to ask because I am very angry right now.

One of my partners sent a little dollar to my account through wire transfer on the 23rd of this month, on getting to my account I saw that $25 dollar was deducted from the money.

I contacted the sender and he told me that they send the exact amount which they also sent me the receipt, now I had to contact my bank (GTB) and they said that it's offshore charges and that it's a new law from CBN.

Please I am still confused right now, why will CBN issue such a law?

Please share your experience if you have ever experienced something like that before because it also means that Google Adsense payment might be deducted too

Ask the sender to send you Telex for the transfer. He/She ask the sending bank to charge the recipient "Offshore Charge" which is the USD 25 and it's not your Nigeria bank that debited the $25.

It's the corresponding bank used that will make the deduction. Your bank will credit in full the amount received.

If Google send you money, you get paid what Google send because they incur all the charges.

To be certain and sure, ask the Sender to send you Telex and upload it here.

So it's the sender that short-changed you. Ask for Telex and we will analyze it for you here and know who to fight to get back your USD 25.
