Not too long that the OP of this thread gave me the price of dell inspiron charger, which is 5,300, i received a PM from one idiot scammer on Nairaland, i replied the PM but the person failed to tell me the reason why she/he PMed me. The following day, i received another mail from below email with the SUBJECT "Your Oder"

I guess he/she read the conversation btw me n OP but I don't need to play along with the person coz i knew what he/she is up to.

How to get maximum blessing in your relationship or marriage


A typical believer has one or two testimony to share. He or she is happy, but sometimes what is oblivious to him is that he is operating far below what God would have wanted for him.

As believers, we are in a covenant which includes greatness.

When God called Abraham, He told him,
"And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:"  (Gen 12:2, KJV)


Amplified version explains it better:
"And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [ with abundant increase of favors ] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [ dispensing good to others ]."  (Gen 12:2, AMP)


There is greatness for us in God. 

But, don't ever think this is going to happen automatically without a fight from the enemy of your soul. Don’t ever think you will sit beck having cups of ice-cream while God gets busy making your name great.

Abraham didn't get it on a platter of gold.

The devil fought him. The devil fought him through his wife. His wife suggested that he should marry Hagar, and he did. Hagar gave birth to Ishmael and we all see what that has done today.

What was the devil trying to do here?

He was trying to break his focus!
Listen to  me, the greatest thing you can do in a relationship or marriage is to focus. 

1. Focus on God

2. Focus on your spouse/fiance/fiancee

If you can get it in these two areas, you will achieve much.

If the devil knows you are married but careless and carnal, he will push you into adultery. Focus broken. Problems arrive. Complications arise. Sometimes, you are still dealing with the consequences twenty years after or more.

If the devil knows you will never go into adultery as a child of God, he will explore other weaknesses. He will attempt to break your focus in your thoughts! And listen to me, that is as consequential as the real thing.

Someone who had an experience of heaven came back and said, our thoughts on earth are louder in heaven than our voice on earth! Think about that.

No wonder Jesus "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. "  (Mat 5:28, KJV)

The moment you think it through, you’ve just done it!

Your thoughts! It looks like something you can get away with, but you won’t get away with it.

When your thoughts are broken, and you are busy in your thoughts entertaining some “innocent likeness” to someone apart from your spouse, you are tampering with something in the spirit realm.

It will invariably affect something  else in your relationship or marriage. That is why there are emotional affairs! 

Focus on the person you are in relationship with! Focus on your husband or wife. Stop eyeing your colleague! 

You are married, stop eyeing another sister or brother in church. Those actions took place in church do not mean they are sanctified actions. 

This is why the scriptures says, "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"  (Amos 3:3, KJV)

“Walk” together according to the word in Hebrew language involves more than just strolling. It involves behaviours, conversations, to walk apace and continually! Focus!

The word “agreed” means “to fix upon!” Focus!

When you shift focus on somebody else in a relationship or marriage, it looks innocent since it is in thoughts, but in reality, you will be limited in your “agreement” and it will affect your productivity and result in life. Don't let the devil use such things to derail and slow you down in your destiny.

What do you do with these seemingly harmless but actually dangerous thoughts?

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"  (2Co 10:3-5, KJV)

You cast them down! Don't allow those thoughts. Don't give then a foot-hold. Learn to be open and discuss freely with your spouse.


When you internalise too much, you will keep struggling with these thoughts. The fact that you don't talk will empower you more to think and explore more on wrong things, since you already know you won’t share it. Secrecy energises you to sin more and gives a haven to sin more in thoughts. 

But the moment you said, “Whatever I think, I will share with my spouse, you will consciously resist those negative traps.
You see, It is all a trap, because when God looks at you to bless you and favour you, the first thing He does is to check your heart.

Fill yourself with God’s word. Be open with your spouse. It will help a lot. You can kill negative thoughts instantly by saying the right things out. Don't give up on your thought life because of the struggles. Resist the devil and he will flee. You have the mind of Christ.

It is in the realm of thoughts that masturbation, pornography and other sexual perversions thrive.

As singles in a relationship, focus on God and focus on each other. That is how to make it work. Deal with all distractions and let God bless you in the maximum way possible.


As singles or married, when you come to learn focusing on God and focusing on each other, you will do greater things together, your finances will get better, you prayers will be answered quicker, God will use you more, and God will be glorified in you the more!


I pray that God gives you more understanding.
