Again your low IQ restrict you from doing deeper evaluations. Explain why U.S is eager to bring homosexuality in Africa while africans are startving and which africans continue to say no to. Doesn't the arabs need it more when they are stoning gays? I have no problem engaging with anyone here as long as they write a through counterargument, but again that is something that i dont think many of you can since it requires evaluations which is limited for alot of africans. The low IQ prevents you from reading comprehension, which is that homosexuality is being used as a means to lower the african birthrate. Its already being used in black american communities and works effectively against black youth especially those who grow up without a normal family structures, which a lot of black americans lack with no fathers at home. Barack Obama, the so called the first black president passed more laws for homosexuality than for the african american community while they were being killed by police, this has till this day left a bitter taste for lots of african americans. Today black americans are the biggest homosexual group in America, with cities such as Atlanta, its so bad there that african-american women are crying because they cant find straight african american men like this women here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSztQF19no4
Homosexuality has been rejected in every single Black African country with the exception of South Africa which is heavily white influenced. Some inflicting harsher punishments than others but either way is usually against the law and (or) frowned upon. Your entire post is rendered null and void. If only your own IQ wasn't so low you could have done a simple 2 minute Google search to find all this out. wink

I see Universal Homes are already there - might just buy myself a unit in Alaro city smiley and you can be my tenant.
There are no "Kenyan" owned companies in Alaro City. There are 3 small Indian and British firms that that operate from Kenya Colony. grin

Look, nothing comes easy.... Not even African independence, but we got it anyway.

There will always be threat, but if Buhari insist on producing chocolate locally, I doubt there's anything they can do apart from sanction, which we actually faced in d 90's and still got our interest intact.

The problem is that we don't have stern leaders, some past military leaders tried but these crops of democratically elected leaders are frail and will always play to d gallery.
A lot of African countries never got "TRUE" Independence. They got psuedo independence just look at the Francophones most of them still operate like full fledged Colonies! The DR Congo is pretty much the worlds multi purpose Slave Plantation. Even some of the "most independent" African countries have some small degree of foreign economic appeasement going on.

I already admited that i cant fight against the low iq of africans which you are obsorving. The unability to make deeper evaluations. I dont know if its because they dont teach critical thinking in african schools or its just the low IQ, but also maybe its the low IQ the reason why african school education dont teach critical thinking and deeper evaluations of things.
Aftica is a gigantic continent of over 50 diverse countries in every since of the matter whether it be culture, language, ethnicity, religion, development, or educational system. To make such a broad ignorant statement ironically only exposes your own Low IQ to the world.

And we have many small player. If we had Nakumatt that would be 300 stores. And these are large stores....in malls.

Finally, you're starting to see the light. Kenya has a long way to go - but it ahead of West Africa - in value addition. Instead of banning imports alone - also start to ban export of raw materials - and start to export value-added goods.

Let me give you one example. Macademia nuts. Kenya has increased production 10 fold in 10 yrs...and is now 3rd biggest producer after Australia and South Africa..and this after we banned the export of raw nuts.

The same is true in many crops - avocados - name it - coffee is out - waste of time when you don't have Brazil kind of land - and we are focussed on high value crops.

Don't buy into such BS that romanticize Africa history. Africa was very poor, very sickly, and just out there fighting each other like bunch of animals. This kind of BS include literature like "How Europe undeveloped Africa by Walter Rodney". You want to see how Africa was - go the many remote communities that remain untouched by modernity. You'll find many in Africa.

What developed Europe was 1) Industrialisation and 2) International Trade & exchange. What underdeveloped Africa was basically getting cut off from modernity and remaining off-line -off-grid - and largely remote - mostly due to geographical issues.

Now we really have no excuse not to develop and catch up....but of course, development is not instant coffee - it's like turning a large ship - it may appear like nothing is moving - while a lot is happening. Africa is doing great - and we just need to sustain this. There are few laggard dragging us down... Nigeria being the topmost.

The biggest states of Africa - DRC, Sudan, NIgeria, and Ethiopia - are so messed up - having a large country seem a disadvantage - if you don't invest in infrastructure. Look at DRC - about 5 times size of kenya - maybe 10 times Ghana - but with barely any infrastructure - for someone in the east of DRC - they have to fly to west.

What Africa need is to bridge it's infrastructure deficit - and then build transnational infrastructure - AU instead of talking - should be building a highway from Cairo to Capetown - from Dakar to Mogadishu -

And the focus should be Intra-trade - and that will eventually improve our fortunes.

Power doesn't come from large country or large population. It comes from MONEY. WEALTH. The UK is small island and yet colonized giants like China India and etc.
With the exception of the DR Congo all those countries you listed are currently superior to or on the way to becoming superior to Kenya.

What Africa truly needs is................ grin

Africans should be exploiting this situation as much as possible while everyone else is locked down and distracted.

[s] It seems that you need to revert back to basics because you do not seem to understand what the word disinformation means. FYI, false information which is intended to mislead

Your approach is to discredit but not with anything but your own opinion no facts, just your own self birthed deduction. Your opinion is not fact its just a view.

I used Beeeagle to underpin my view and mentioned him being a prolific blogger at the time, is that disinformation huh huh huh Unless you are calling him a liar too.

I quote him, it emerged that a Jaguar B TRAINER variant (NAF 703) had flown for only 150 hours 54 minutes since it was manufactured in December 1984. It had its 100 hours inspection on the 10th day of February, 1986. It suggests that the crated fleet of Jaguar jets is almost brand-new still. Where is the disinformation huh huh huh

We have very clear information to a good degree technical from which a substantive non-opinionated deduction can be made, that there was considerable life left in these air frames, that is a very plausible deduction to be made. We are informed there were two separate bids for the planes by both India's Hindustan and the now BAE systems. That says there was value in theses Air-frames. Personally when i think of the European build quality i would prefer a renewed 16 Sepecat Jaguar, new engines, avionics, weapon systems, etc for a $100 million. In comparison to the 12 Chinese copy cat Mig 21's that we bought for £250 million.

That is my opinion it is not fact , it is not disinformation or misrepresentation it is my approach to best value, you can agree or disagree thats your choice.

With regards to your pictures it says nothing or proves anything, we don't know when those pics were taken , for how long the Jags remained in the open and when they left the hangar and where they currently are right now. Your pictures without a time frame explanation are misleading and more of disinformation.

From my own sources at the time my understanding was that they were in the HANGERS just before the inspection, what happened afterwards I really do not know. I could easily find out if I wanted too.

So if you disagree with me its your choice but please stop trying to harangue, name calling and cause unnecessary ill tempered arguments, there is simply no need. I don't know what you mean by "You talk as if you are an authority"[/s]
As usual.... wink

In other news,,,

Kenya is the second most ready nation in Africa to adapt to any shocks or unavoidable changes. Trailing only the island nation of Mauritius. I've always told you folks, genuinely, with a clean heart, that Kenia is amazing!!!

Kenya ranks high in Africa in global shocks preparedness

Kenya has been ranked 59th out of 140 countries globally in readiness to prepare for and respond to major disruptions such as climate change, technology and geopolitics, a report by KPMG audit firm reveals.

The 2019 KPMG Change Readiness Index (CRI) that measured how governments, enterprises, people and civil societies adapt to these unavoidable changes, places Kenya first in the East African Community (EAC) and second in the continent, after Mariutius which is ranked 34th globally.

Trailing Kenya in EAC is Rwanda (placed 70th globally), followed by Uganda (99th), Tanzania (100th), Burundi (128th) and South Sudan (139th).

“Kenya improved her ranking by moving eight places up to position 59 compared to position 67 attained last year. Rwanda slipped to position 70 compared to position 46 last year, and Uganda recorded the biggest drop in the region to rank at position 99 compared to position 66 attained during last year’s index,” analyses the report, now in its fourth year of biannual publication.

CHANGE INDEX

Kenya is ranked 63rd out of 140 countries globally in the ability of its private and public organisations and companies to adapt to major changes and grow within a dynamic economic environment. This is its best placing in the three key pillars of capabilities.

The country is in position 68 in the government pillar to manage and influence change and 64 in people and civil society readiness to cope with change and respond to opportunities.

Somalia is ranked the last overall at position 140, tailing with South Sudan, Chad, Sudan and Libya.

Ironically, Africa’s big economies are also lagging behind in adopting change, notably South Africa which is ranked 96th, Nigeria (127th) and Libya (135th).

Rwanda is the only African country hailed for punching above its weight - ranked the fourth in the world for planning and adopting change beyond expectation at 13 per cent, beating New Zealand and United Kingdom.

The top performer in this category is Switzerland at 16 per cent.

RESPONSE TO CLIMATE RISKS

On the flipside, those punching below their weight are all African countries, except Argentina and Iran. Those with negative performance indices in percentage are Libya (-25), Angola (-15), Algeria (-12) and Sudan (-11).

Those susceptible to climate risks and least resilient are mostly low income and lower middle income countries.

Among developed economies, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong (SAR) are outliers owing to greater climate risk factors but also demonstrate a higher degree of change readiness.

While it may not be surprising that the public sector is rated better in addressing climate change in high income economies, the fact that civil society receives better marks in low income economies as an advocate for climate change draws an interesting distinction.

ADAPT
“Those that fail to recognise the impact of climate change as the ‘new normal’ and do not adapt accordingly are likely to be unprepared for its growing costs,” said Mr Achim Steiner, administrator at UNDP.
