From what I know, GTBank stopped site with DCC because they didn't like that these sites try to make transactions in NGN(convert) instead of the base currency. for example: Gbank want to see PAYPAL>>$100; They don't want PAYPAL #30,000($100). They usually would decline such transaction but it has become frequent and they cant take it anymore. That's you can try it would decline and you keep trying then it approves but they finally had to block.

And eventually the naira. But why will any sane government pump 250 million dollars a month for 10 months just to keep the naira value?
That money alone if judiciously spent can take Nigeria out of recession by constructing roads,agric projects and etc

The reason why we keep on talking about dollar rate rate is because we are an import based economy. Believe me if Nigeria is producing very well more focus of Nigerians will be on the naira and not dollars

Bros, let me ask this please... Since the time they ban international transactions, and restrictions on fx how many local industries did you see rejoicing? In 2014 I said this same thing when the Ghana gov took IMF loan to rescue the dying GHS, well it worked. How can't you understand that millions of businesses are out of ideas because of fx? Nigeria has depended on imports for years and it doesn't take one year to diversify an economy, and you can't start starving people just because you want to grow local industries...Everything is step by step. Personally I agree the rich politicians would hoard the $$$$ pump but they still would be better off if Naira is left to 1000/$

Anyone who wants to HOLD can do so and people show stop creating panics here. In 2014 I Cedi was dying and I transferred my funds to Naira and few months after the gov pumped and Cedi got strong again while Naira started dying.

Well, everyone was once a noob... I hardly comment about anything here but when I see people falling for simple tricks I don't like to fold my arms as long as I am getting my trades right. I lost in egold, ebullion, LR, btc in 2013 so I know about having zero experience. One thing I always tell my customers: don't buy coin from me for speculative purpose if you don't have experience.

let me give you one HINT ...reason why luno is reaping nigerians and only few will understand
when you want to buy bitcoin , you can only do 10 million naira monthly ..but SELLING HAS NOT LIMIT
for people living in south africa ..buying and selling has no limit ..meaning if i am in south africa i can buy as many as i want

okay let me give you another hint
people in south africa can trade with Nigerians on the same luno
but nigerians cant trade with south africans ( you wouldnt understand this statement either )

You can also add that most of those BUY walls are fake and their bots keeps trading ridiculously making sure that the price stays low.

Look closely you will see the real SELL wall on luno seats around NGN 580,000 - NGN 600,000 now that's the real coin value.

Now if you manage to buy from Luno you can't sell there and make profit, so unless you sell outside Nigeria because Luno already has agents on NL...I will explain this: let's say you bought @460/$ from Luno and you come to sell on NL then your potential buyers already got news that Luno sells @460/$ they bid you 455 then you are forced to be a bag-holder and as time passes, the price gets lower. I know a couple guys who buys from here to sell in ZAR, withdraw money and buy back, so they are ripping us off and make no mistake about that.

It is even reasonable to think the South Africa company is out to steal Nigerians coin.. Nigeria use to have the highest number of nodes in Africa ( the only node lol, Na just one node) recently I checked the chart again and saw like 4 inactive nodes and 1 active node in South Africa.. I am very sure that are up to something ( thanks to investors there)

..its not their fault really it's our government fault that is suffering is with 24/7 electricity
Having nodes is useless without wallet though but they are not stupid not to know that

Your last line sums up everything bro...We have a government which is doing everything to keep us behind the rest of the world. Now no bank processes international payment. Tech-wise, we have huge supply of experts but look how some guys from South Africa and Kenya is messing around our markets.

My friend there is nothing "real" about your website if it cannot track bitcoin price accurately and in real time. I just checked your website again right now and it's showing 1 btc selling for 558,000 or 462/$. How did you come up with that exchange rate? Come and sell to me at that rate and I will even put 5naira extra as fisi. I'm sure you probably send people to your website when you want to buy as though your site is reliable.

To be honest I used to think this guy works for bitx and he uses this info to make people feel like advertising lower selling lower on NL(misleading info)...His website gets info off of bitx and bitpesa. This website in my opinion is misleading...sorry to say but it's what it is when there's so much inconsistencies with price info worldwide.

Oga this your website is a joke, your bitcoin price is 555200 even when one bitcoin is over $1200 as at this moment.

People need not fall for the tricks being used by greedy buyers, for example when you stop by LBC, you will notice that most of the sellers are advertising very low prices for btc, many are advertising even lower than N470/$ but the truth is they are not selling to anyone at that price. When you try to buy from them, they never respond and the trade gets automatically canceled after 2hrs, meanwhile a few crafty ones keep refreshing their page as though they are online but they will never sell at that cheap rate. They do this to trick others into advertising a cheaper rate then they will quickly buy all your coins. My advice to all who trade on LBC and notice this sleazy tactic, leave a negative feedback and block them if you have to, this should reduce their ratings and hopefully end this practice. It's even sad to see some of the highly rated sellers engaging in this act, I think it's the same person with multiple accounts most times or a group of friends. Just be smart not to sell your coins to tricky traders.

Thank you very much for the heads up bro. I have been telling most of my customers about this but they seem not to understand...It's a trick people! Don't throw away your coin cheaply, times are hard! Bitx and some whales are involved in this trick big time, just look at the stats, BTC has no reason to be trading at NGN 555,200 today! while ZAR and other pairs are pumping like crazy...Nigeria has the highest btc stack in Africa so these whales are on a mission to steal your coin so cheaply! Before the crash on Jan 3, coin was trading at 599,000 on bitx, finix and stamp was trading around $1,119/$1,120 so one question you ask is why today bitx trading at $1,161 on USD, 16,000 on ZAR and 555,2000 on NGN huh
