There are too many examples to count...let's take one related to road transport...the lagos state vehicle inspection service (VIS) has changed the Proof of Ownership certificate (PoC) from a one time issue (upon purchase of your vehicle) to an annually renewable document. Why? What is the reason?

This conversion to an annually renewable PoC is nothing more than a cynical revenue generation scheme by sanwo olu and the LASG. Absolutely zero value has been added to the motoring public with this new format. There was nothing wrong with the previous arrangement where a new PoC would be issued if ownership of the vehicle changed hands. Why does the LASG have to issue me a document each year to tell me my vehicle belongs to me?

The roads are not going to get better. There will be some minor patchwork - at best - and work will then be suspended until next year. Where are all the Sanwo olu apologists from last year? No one should dare complain. We should all sit back, relax and enjoy our glass smooth autobahns.
