Proudmum please can u post a pic of d baby cot you bought? Hubby wants to get a carpenter to make a wooden cot and its kinda expensive n besides I don't know how it will turn out to be (quality/beauty wise). Thanks

If you are getting a carpenter to make a wooden cot,remember to tell him that the space between the vertical rods should not be more than 2 3/8 inches, if the space is more that this, your baby could get his head or limbs trapped between the bars or fall through them.Also,you can tell him to make it convertible,such that you can turn it into a mini bed later on when your baby outgrows the cot.This was what i told my carpenter to make for me.

Really sad story,thats the issue with most of us,we tend to keep quite and move on with life but unfortunately this keeps going on and on and the doctors/hospitals keep repeating the same mistakes because no one has taken it up with them.
One of my friends was in labour too in a private hospital in VI and the doctors and nurses left her even when she complained,they said she will need more time to dilate.
Thank God her brother came around ,he met the doctor facebooking at the reception while my friend's baby's head was already out and she was calling but no one answered when he brother saw the situation he ran down to scream at the doctor/nurses before they started attending to her.

I think you should take that case up as its total negligence and its criminal!!!
Thank God she didn't lose her life,they would have turned the husband to a widower and say sorry at the end.
Until we start shouting out these things might not end and it will affect others.
