PoliticsWhat The Government Really Plans To Do In The 6 Weeks by AsSabirin(op): 11:16am On Feb 08, 2015
[b]What is a magicians greatest tool?

MISDIRECTION!!!

Have you ever seen a magician with one hand before? No! Not possible.
And why is that? Il tell you.

When a magician performs there always some drama leading up to the main performance. Usually he performs some theatrics with one hand thereby distracting you from where the real magic is taking place! When he is done, he puts the whole act together and it looks like he did the impossible!

This video better explains my point.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OH3ViiQxeY&app=desktop

The main thing planed for this 6 weeks is no where near tackling boko! The 6 weeks was for them to buy time to make some plans not to our knowledge. So, while the whole country is focused on the north east to see what will come out of there, they are behind the scenes setting up for march 28.
I had thought buhari had a chance, but with the postponement, he can not win.
Guys forget about the hastags, GEJ till.. Sai... but read between the lines, something is being planed, let's try to uncover that before its too late!

It's nice that he wished Nigerians well this holiday season. I just don't like the way he was just reading the message. It was too obvious.

Anyways, here's the video. I don't know how to make video appear on NL. Maybe just click the link.

I wanted to take a similar path after mbbs. I did my research and realised it ain't worth it.

don't try it...especially if you're considering Nigeria. Even outside the country, the future is bleak for BM engineers.

I'm just being realistic. It could be different for you.
Thanks for the advice.
EducationShould I Study This Course by AsSabirin(op): 1:41am On Dec 26, 2014
Hi guys.
I graduated and finished service about a year ago. Been looking for job, but it's been a very difficult journey. I graduated with a lower, so the opportunity has not been much for me.
So, I decided to apply for masters. With God's favour, I got admission into the programme.
Now, here is my dilemma. The course I got admission for is medical systems engineering. I did a bit of search and noticed biomedical engineering is not so popular and common in the nigerian scene. At first this was the reason I chose the course, I wanted to go for somthing unique and try to build in that field, something untapped.

My dear nairalanders, would you suggest I take this course? I am a bit sceptical, as I have not heard or meet any biomedical engineer. I don't want to go do the masters and comeback and be more useless that when I left in the first place.
Please my brothers and sisters, if you have any info please contribute and advice me on this my issue.
I studied engineering, mechanical. Thanks

TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by AsSabirin(m): 1:08am On Nov 30, 2014
madridista01:
1. concerning application number: noted
2. concerning the application form not being out: I want to apply to six schools. from these 6 schools, three use exactly the same application form. you download from their website and and either hand fill or fill with a computer using adobe reader or the required application program. two use their own forms (one of them still giving u the choice 2 use between the general application form and their own personal application form). it's the last school that I've not been able to lay hold on their own application form.

then considering why they won't treat my files if the application form of the last school whose forms aren't out yet Is the same or not: are you trying to say that' they know the exact forms used in all schools?
are u also trying to say that is the same filled form that one submits at the embassy that one must use in applying to the various schools? cos I see nothing wrong in doing what I had earlier wrote,[it can only be wrong if the application form used in document certification must be that same one used to apply to these schools or if the German embassy infact keeps a record of the forms and might maybe spot the discrepancy when one comes to apply for visa.

and I am trying to avoid all the issues that concern high court certification (official seal, note saying that the document are original. ..bla...bla...bla). so please try oppose my views in a non sentimental manner ..and not use derogatory remarks thank u

My friend will you stop this, you asked a question and they answers you properly. You still insisting, you want us to give you permission to break the rules.
Don't try any funny business, if you are caught you don't just ruin tour chances but make things difficult for others. Better drop this Ur mentality and do what's right.

Your engine is TU5 JP4, metted to AL4 auto transmission, 2007 model.

Anyway, the engine cost about 100k. So, your mechanic was right about the price.

Hi guys.
So here's the story, the timing belt of my car recently cut while I was driving and that cost me some buk, my mechanic said all the valves were broken and I had to change the top of the engine. Which he charged me 40k.
Two days later the engine knock, engine oil was alright, everything one could think of fine. He gave me this rooster n bull story about the radiator leak, if that was the case surely I would have seen it on the temperature guage.

Anyways now I have to buy a new engine and he says it cost 100k. Please nairalanders is this the cost and how do I know a good engine.

The car is a Peugeot 307. Thanks.

There was no notification on the dash board, usually if something is wrong I will get a notification there. So I was just shocked at how two days after fixing my engine the car will knock.
The car has been very well, it only started having issues when I took it to him to fix it for me.
Thanks for the advice I think that is what I will do. I am just really pissed at what happend.

Truckpusher: My response wasn't to argue if that wasn't or was Port Harcourt, but to clearly point out your hypocritic nature since you keep shouting hypocrisy.

That road is still under construction and the red mud for the initial phase of the construction have been added and it is being used constantly by motorists who wouldn't want to go through Aba road to acees Trans Amadi and her neighboring environs because of the distance, but posting pictures of a particular section of a road under construction during this rainy season and labelling it ; the "Trans Amadi where almost all (if not, the a lot of them) the oil companies in Nigeria have an office or some sort of location there'' is simply you lying to achieve some cheap point in this your little ego trip argument against the people bashing the North.

Once again ,reprhase your comment and tell the people that this particular road is under construction.

Thank you.
again, are you trying to say trans Amadi does not host a number of oil company offices? That road right after mother cat to slaughter is bad. That's fact and no lies there.
PoliticsRe: The Beasts Of Northern Nigeria [[MORE PIX]] by AsSabirin(m): 9:14pm On Aug 01, 2014
Truckpusher: I bet, you woke up from another planet shocked..........In as much as the major Trans Amadi road is still under construction from Woji via slaughter to Garrison junction it doesn't look as bad as this.

You guys should get your facts correct before you mislead gullible Nigerians. undecided
What are you trying to say? I photoshoped this pic right?
How would you explain the taxis that are painted in the blue and white of PH or zooming the pic in and you see slaughter market in the distance?
PoliticsJob Seekers And Geniuses Of Nairaland by AsSabirin(op): 7:21pm On Aug 01, 2014
Like me many youths are on the search for jobs in Nigeria, which is a job on it's on.
Anyways, I have read so many articles on this forum on job search and I have followed them keenly and tried to apply them to my life.
Hoewever, after a couple of job test I quickly realized where I am lacking. Numerical reasoning, I am quite good st other areas, also not bad at the numerical but I am just a bit slow.

Please fellow job seekers, say I am at an aptitude test and my calculations bring me to something like 9000/115 how do I solve this in the quickest of times?
Thanks.

NB
I posted here only because I couldn't on the job section.
