So I just noticed a decision has been made on my application by checking the UKVI status website. It was updated last thursday. However my TLS status has not changed yet, and I have not received any email in that regard or for collection. I'm thinking of just going to check at the VAC tomorrow or next.
Was hoping to get best advice from the top brains in the house.

Please how did you check on ukvi site?
The link that was here it asked for reference number. I'm not sure what number to put in as my GWF number said it was not recognised thanks

Hi...much thanks to all the gurus in the house. I've been following this thread silently for a while but used the tips therein..I just picked up my 6months visit visa after being rejected twice by UK and once by US.
Anyways,to add to the tax debate,I only used my payslips from work,don't have tax clearance certificate.

I agree with you, let's move on. An applicant has the prerogative to submit whatever documents that will support their application. However, we must not mislead them to believe that certain document that are not mandatory can anywhere be advantageous.

Exactly. Just like TLS staff shouting for you to put your previous passport page copy and photocopies of previous visas. theres a reason you were asked to fill previous visas and old passport in the form. They can cross check their records and get whatever they want. But to each their own

Please can we just focus on the thread and leave the tax certificate issue Abeg.

If you want to put it put, if not don't.
To be safe and if you have it, pls put. You can never be wrong with too much document than submitting too little.

Let focus on people who need help here and asking other questions

I made application to French embassy on may 19th 2017 to attend a congress and business exhibition in France that will commence on 12th June 2017.
I already have a chinese visa on my passport which will expire on 17th June 2017 and I intend to connect to china from Paris after the 2 days exhibition.
I waited for the passport to be out until 12th June the day the exhibition start but it was not released,afraid to lose the Chinese visa I went to the France embassy in Abuja on the same 12th June 2017 and applied for my passport to be return to me to enable me connect to China since the programmed in France has commence.They ask me to write application to that effect which I did and they ask me to go to VFS office next morning to collect my passport.....on getting there my passport was give to me with REFUSAL VISA STAMP!!!

REASON : YOUR INTENTION TO LEAVE THE TERRITORY OF THE MEMBER STATES BEFORE THE EXPIRY OF THE VISA COULD NOT BE ASCERTAINED!

I have my flight ticket and visa to china and stated I will stay in Paris just two days.
I submitted all the documents requested from their check list with my personal account like 3.5 million and company account 400k(cous i do transfer on it steady),married cert. and my two son birth cert. ,company cert. incorporation,tax etc

To cut the long story short......they gave me option of appeal with two months....plz should I appeal for this decision since the programmed I registered to attend has passed.

Please house help answer for me.

Please don't waste your time appealing. They would waste your time. If the program has passed leave it

I submitted few days ago in Abuja and no I did not submit any passport. They take your picture there

Let me make it clearer, I'm a Pastor. My church is sending us to attend Synod conference and Women's Conference of a sister church in the US.

I will attend the Synod while see attends the Women's Conference. Both conferences run concurrently.

I will need a B1 Visa. She will need a B2 Visa.

How do I link the two DS-160 application forms together so that we attend interview together?

Anyhow, you can link it on the second website where you book your appointment. You would be asked if you are travelling with someone then you add her details

When it's time to entree transaction reference you will enter both of your payment receipt number.

From there you book your appointment

I've had some visa refusals (not uk) in the past and there is a section to declare it

Rent in Dublin is quite expensive... Very! If he was alone maybe he would have gotten a shared apartment. But renting alone would be expensive even for studio apartment would be around 800-1000 and above. He can manage for now till he understands the transport system and get a car. Then he can travel to work from places outside Dublin. I would suggest Daft than Craigslist. Best option would be living just outside Dublin and taking the bus into Dublin to work.

Yes but whenever I select the option the dialog box to select interview date it opens a plain white background showing no date or calendar. I've been refreshing since last night and even cleared cache still nothing

Depends on the EU country they are moving to. You can use google. Authorities will simply know when you register whatever means you are using to exercise your right. Eg work or self employment you would register for tax. Even voluntary you will pay rent and you submitting accommodation evidence shows you are resident in the country. The EU citizen is meant to file the application as he/She is the sponsor.

I have been trying to schedule an appointment but it keeps being up a blank dialog box without the calendar

check your appointment profile page to schedule a date for the face to face interview mind you it's free of charge. The reason they called you is because you're applying from Nigeria not UK.

I tried renewing my visa through Dropbox and was asked to come in for interview. In the mail it said this is a visa refusal under 221(g).

I want to know is this exactly a refusal for only US visa purposes or for all other countries/ embassies as I intend to apply for another country's visa.
