Hello sir @Dotcomnamename, i applied for a critical skills employment permit, I am a Nurse, presently working in Ireland, Unfortunately, my application was refused with reason being that i didnt have a third degree qualification. However, the letter stated that I could apply for a review of the decision. Please my question is this, I only have a RN certificate, what would be the likely outcome if i apply for a review? Can i hold on and probably start a fresh application? what are the implications of this. i would also appreciate any form of help you can render in my case. |

Mcowubaba: The medical insurance is included in most schools tuition fees. So ask ur school if the insurance is part of ur fees or u better look for schools with insurance included in their tuition feed |

Mcowubaba:Please house is there anything like Immigration to Ireland just like Canada and Australia immigration program.Your response will be appreciated if it's possible. |
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Mcowubaba: 10:33am On Apr 23, 2017 |
nikkycool: There is a program called Third level graduate scheme program. It's a student pathway. It enables a Non-Eu student who graduated in an NFQ Level 7-10 program (undergraduate, masters, PhD) to gain work experience for a duration of 6months to 1 year respectively on completion of the their program. Ireland immigration is not as friendly as Canada. To get a work permit to continue to work after the duration of 6months - 1 year. You must be employed in a skilled occupation, there is a list of Jobs approved for a work permit, while there are many other not approved. Secondly your salary is expected to be 27,000 - 30,000 euros per year, with some exception. Chimumsy20: Most schools have more than 1 payment option. Simply ask the school for another payment option. Probably Bank wire/Swift transfer, that's the Nigerian Form A, I think so... The will simply mail you their Bank wire details, every school should have this.. |

amii131:I applied for someone, I'm not in Ireland, I don't even know much about Ireland.. But the school I applied to, dont have Medical insurance included in their fees.. The referred me to some Medical insurance Companies. But from my understanding, even if the school you applied to don't have medical insurance, u can still apply for Visa, but you will need to get an APPROVED (valid in Ireland) medical insurance in Nigeria, prior application of Visa. U can't buy a medical insurance in Ireland, without you being present there, because the will require your permanent address, phone number nd some other information. with some exceptions though You can search Ireland Universities on google.com. Then check the breakdown of their School/Tuition fees and know whether it has medical insurance included. U can do that and avoid all this long stories 1 Like |

Pls house on the issue of free movement of EU citizen and their family member pls how can the authorities verify that the union citizen is about to move to another member state (as it is required to invoke the free movement right).... Secondly who should file the application between the citizen and non national of EU states.... Lastly has anyone used this right or experienced in getting the residence card? Pls share. Cc. Justwise, Dotcomnamename, mcowubaba |
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Astonestone: 12:06pm On May 09, 2017 |
Depends on the EU country they are moving to. You can use google. Authorities will simply know when you register whatever means you are using to exercise your right. Eg work or self employment you would register for tax. Even voluntary you will pay rent and you submitting accommodation evidence shows you are resident in the country. The EU citizen is meant to file the application as he/She is the sponsor. quote author=Doctorfitz post=56347680]Pls house on the issue of free movement of EU citizen and their family member pls how can the authorities verify that the union citizen is about to move to another member state (as it is required to invoke the free movement right).... Chuksbae:U must always disclose any Visa denial and Criminal records if any!!! You were refused Spouse visa to UK twice, that's not good. Did you appeal or get any explanation in this regard.. On Affecting your Visa Success, it's a possibility, but with a good legitimate Application, your application for Ireland should be successful. That's if you have corrected or worked on the issues that led to your previous denials of UK spousal visa |

Doctorfitz: The EU citizen should be the person who is filing the application. The first part of the question has been "answered".... |

Hi Dotcom, My Cousin has been granted Work Permit in Dublin and he is in a cross road deciding whether to leave his job in Nigeria for this new job. He complained that the rent in Dublin is very expensive (2/5 of his take home pay) as from what he saw on daft.ie where a 2 bed-room goes for as much as 1800Euro per month. My question is , are they other channels which someone can get a cheaper house for a family in Dublin. I searched and saw one site https://dublin.craigslist.org/ but he said that might be scam as other sites rent / lease rate are the same with daft.ie. I will like him to move to Dublin as it will help his family get good life and I will have a cousin i can visit in Dublin. lol. What is the best way to get a good cheap house in Dublin for lease? |
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Astonestone: 2:31pm On May 10, 2017 |
Rent in Dublin is quite expensive... Very! If he was alone maybe he would have gotten a shared apartment. But renting alone would be expensive even for studio apartment would be around 800-1000 and above. He can manage for now till he understands the transport system and get a car. Then he can travel to work from places outside Dublin. I would suggest Daft than Craigslist. Best option would be living just outside Dublin and taking the bus into Dublin to work. |
