My future stared at me when I took my father to his hometown some weeks back. My old aunty Started by saying she didn't believe my father would get old and won't be able to walk properly anymore..how times fly when u are having fun. She talked about how my father and his cousin had enjoyed their young life and never invested in real estate rather they came to their hometown for the weekend to have fun. They helped their friends to buy land along Ajah,ibeju lekki and the rest. But they felt like its was close to their hometown ....it would always be an hometown.
My pastor says in his book ...'school of money'.. that part of been called wealthy and not rich is when 50% of ur wealth is real estate. While coming back .....I saw the new okoya estate.....these man is so wise and wealthy to have a large amount of properties around lagos....his new estate is everything to write about. Real estates pays the man a lot of millions or even billions. The rich borrows to get assets while the poor borrows to get liabilities. Smh.
Anyway while driving my sport car home with my father I though to my self....my future is right infront of me.

Investment in hostels facilities.

l am pleased to give you the break down of the aforementioned job.The hostel would best be suited at the University of abeokuta. The school being a federal school makes it easier for parents to pay a little more for accommodation of their wards, since they aren't paying so much as school fees.

Attached is the Valuation breakdown

Depending on the closeness of the hostel to the University,cost of lands starts from five hundred thousand naira only( =N=500,000) and One hundred thousand naira only (=N=100,000) for other documentation,includ­ing lawyers agreement and survey.

After the land has been acquired,the next thing would be to get an architect to make a drawing of the project so as to know how the building would look like and also having a detailed info on the full cost. A civil engineer might also be contacted for the project, it is adviseable because its an investment project which needs a professional. He would be to give a BOQ...I.E bill of quantity which would give the full cost of materials from the cost of blocks ,roofing,wiring to the paintings but fans are not included.

To build a standard self contain that includes toilet,bathroom and kitchen would cost 750.000 but the more you build, the lower the cost of materials. However the rate at which it would get done depends on the amount of buildings you want to have, the rent of this being between 120 and 150 per year.

Am very happy but yet sad to read it. You have a lot of praying to do so as not to be like him oneday... U need to pray....a lot ...join a church and be a member. You need to keep in contact with your friends and family here... So as to know what's going on in nigeria. Save a lot of ur money and sometimes help any of the family or friends who might ask ur help,one day u would like to come back to nigeria for one thing or another..its these people who wil help n be ur eyes. Meanwhile tell ur mum to get busy and find any work as soon as possible so as to give ur dad the money he has spend on the family. To be honest ...he just afraid of tomrow cause the only thing he got is his family and afraid to loose u all. Meanwhile.... Pray for him all d time.

theres somany things you can do.....open a store where you could sell shoes,you could also sell clothings, you could built rooms for hostels. or jst get a shop and sell rice im large stocks or provisions.

Na wao....still going back into the rat race....u use 7m to get an mba then after u start looking for work when u can create employment with what u have....many mba on d str of lagos...even after going to lagos business shl. Many things u could invest in my brother... Housing...lands...treasurybills...anyway ...mail me.

I had to put in more words....it doesnt have to be in ogun state...you could do it other states...The important thing is... investment on landed properties is forever.....after many years you could still sell. one of the features of been rich is real estate....others are paper money..which is bond and securities and last but not the least is physical cash.
Theres a girls hostel at the back of yabatech in lagos... i was there in 2002 for a party by one of the students living there, all the females were all big girls,The hostel was filled up,,last week a lady told me if i was looking for a clean hostel in yabatech ,thats the place to be. AN hostel brings a better income than a home. students pay their rents on time,because they want better facilities their parents are ready to pay. am no scam....Look for this Book and you would think like i think. I finished from mapoly and knew hostels were not enough not to even talk abt good hostels with toilets and bathrooms. You can count the hostels that's has got good facilities... Most students would pay abt 120k for self cont per year to have a good hotels ...with 5m...u would be able to build a 120 self cont hostel and theres a way u do that two students can't share one bathroom,toilet and kitchen.
