Buhari, same as 1984 nothing changed. Unfortunately our facebook and twitter generation wanted to relive the days of agony. Waiting for southerners to start changing their names to seek jobs in the civil services, or start using one Alhaji as reference. I tell you.

Personally, I don't have a problem with inter-tribal relationships. In fact, I have always held that our greatest strength is our diversity and ironically, it is our worst nightmare.

Through history, we are yet to learn a lesson.

From the war, to actions after the war, to today, most people who unfortunately we look up to as leaders today are the same lot flaming the embers of hatred among our people. I am also scared of the future because of the advancement of technology. Because I know that in far away Kano, in those days, Igbo merchants who ply their trade speak the Hausa/Fulani language and live peacefully with the locals.

I have seen citizens from Northern Nigeria who speak Igbo and Yoruba fluently. I have seen an Indian speaking fluently the local dialect of Yoruba in Ibadan. Today, Germany is opening its doors to migrants. The reason behind is to strengthen the economy. These guys will look for jobs, they will stimulate growth and put Germany on the path to economic recovery. Germany lost the war but today they are the Most Developed Nation in Europe.

The almighty United States became known today because she opened the doors of other races.

We just need to get this right and it must stop now; we must begin to tell these people who benefit from our disagreements and resist their every action. I have had cause to confront an Igbo guy who was confronting a hustling Hausa guy, calling him a 'boko'. I told him to stop and I believe we must also do so.

The insecurity in the North can only be put to an end only when the leaders say no. Since they can't say no, it means they are benefiting from it.

Oh, our country.
Growing up in a household where my father wore the uniform for more than 30 years and killed defending what was called Nigeria's unity, tribalism was not a part of my life. Unfortunately I don't feel that way anymore, I refuse to play along as if nothing is wrong.

'Permanent Secretary in the ministry of Finance, Mrs. Anastasia Nwaobia, said the shut down and shut-in of production for maintenance and emergency repairs as well as declaration of Force Majeure by SPDC were the major issues that negatively impacted crude oil revenue in view.

She also said there was revenue loss of $22.53 million as a drop in average price of crude oil from $65.76 in May to $61.27 in June, 2015'.
Buhari's body language was suppose to prevent all these setbacks. That's the message his almajiri minions have been dispersing to Nigerians. Abi I lie?

Sometimes, you guys make our country really difficult to live in.

The cause, struggle and agitation for a construction of a Second Niger Bridge has been on for ages. Countless governments have promised to look into this matter and yet countless have failed.

General Gowon after the war, said there was no victor nor loser. Hence initiated the 3Rs. Of the 3Rs, can you count how many have been started, followed through and completed in the Entire South East that was pummeled and completely destroyed? I do not know who initiated the East - West Road but Mr. Obasanjo came in as President and NOTHING can be said about the state of the road after 8 years. Unfortunately, due to the health challenges of Yar'Adua, nothing much was done on that road. One of the airport in the entire South East (only 2 are in the South East) was elevated by GEJ to an international status and currently upgraded.

All through Mr. Obasanjo's time, NOTHING can also be said about the Lagos - Ibadan expressway and in 2008, the road was rewarded at a concessionary basis to Bi-Courtney and yet, NOTHING can be said about the road after more than 4 years except large bill boards. Today, that road is at this state because GEJ saw beyond politics. Meanwhile the River Niger bridge, which is an important artery road, that links the entire Southern Nigeria to the Eastern Nigeria has been deteriorating, going through wear and tear having been there for more than 40 years, if not the oldest bridge in Nigeria. Today, that bridge have been reported to be experiencing shocks due to the pressure of vehicular activities. Maybe when it collapse, you lots will get the message.

During the tenure of Mr. Peter Obi as Governor of Anambra State, the Onitsha Port was dredged so as to allow large ships berth in Onitsha, which presents enormous benefits to the commercially oriented people of Eastern Nigeria. That port will take away unnecessary transportation cost, reduce accidents and security on the roads, increased the life span of the already over-utilized roads in Nigeria, improve spread of wealth from the concentrated South West (Lagos) to even as far as North Central (Benue and Kogi). In fact, oil vessels can also berth (if the port capacity can be expanded) and that improves supply of petroleum products in the entire South East, South South (Delta) North Central and even to the far North. Other nations see opportunities, our country see sentiments.

Former Governor of Delta State saw the opportunities and ventured into the construction of an airport (with a capacity for cargo management) with a view to reducing travel and transportation costs and improving trade. All these projects require Federal Government's attention and today, what is the status of these projects? They are yet to start up (the Onitsha Port) and now, I am sure Mr. Buhari will 'probe' these projects as some bureaucrats and their political godfathers see everything wrong in a prosperous South East. Only if they know that a Kingdom prospers because of the tenacity, zeal, will and productivity of her people.

Due to paucity of funds and the attendant challenges in constructing roads, GEJ entered into a concessionary agreement with Julius Berger, and the Sovereign Wealth Fund to build a brand new bridge. He is the only one who promised this project, laid processes for eventual take off and actually started the construction of the bridge. Unfortunately, he lost the election and the completion of the bridge is threatened because Mr. Probe's body language is responsible? Because Mr. Dikko, who heads the Infrastructure Commission, remembered today that the project has not met some conditions such as compensation of land owners or Certificate of Compliance?

Is there a problem with tolling the bridge, if it is to raise funds incurred in constructing it? You should be concerned with the amount being tolled on the bridge. You should be concerned in construction of another mode of transportation between these regions to facilitate trade and movement of people. You should be concerned in how you can generate income from unconventional and creative ways. You are not concerned with tolling vehicles on the Lekki Bridge which is within a single local government in a state. You are not concerned with the tolling on Lekki - Epe expressway. Am so sure that if Hi-Teck or Deux was the contractor, you lots won't have a problem with that. You are in fact, not bothered with the state of the only bridge linking Lagos Island to Victoria Island because the bridge probably belongs to the Federal Government.

The same tolling generates revenue, the revenue goes to the Sovereign Wealth Fund and this fund acts as a savings buffer for our future generations. Yet, the establishment of the SWF is still today vehemently opposed by majority of these same Governors who today are the mouth piece of the APC.

And you expect those who live across the bride, those who depend on the bridge for sustenance of live, for their livelihood, for improvement of their business to keep quite?

Today, the East - West road was given attention and over 80 percent completion. I also suppose Mr. Buhari will halt and probe the construction of that road.

I am first a Nigerian but sometimes, I get to think about us as a country. About our future. I get to think about the motive of certain actions of certain individuals. And it hurts me, pains me and I feel sad.

You are one of few people I follow on this forum, Nigerians only break your heart and one learns to hate this hell hole we find ourselves. That's the central reason, this Nation will not go anywhere.

If the world were populated by people who see it as it is and not as it should be, how would civilization progress? Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Reactionary? Every step the north takes is motivated for one purpose only - absolute power.

The SW is more reactionary than progressive.
I don't see northerners as political conservatives, there's absolutely nothing conservative about their politics.

Define conservatism and then you have your answer.

The north is not only conservative but highly ultra-conservative.

Can you compare lifestyle of an average Lagosian to that of a northerner dwelling in Katsina?

Ultra-conservatism is protection of ideals and traditions.
I have always considered them more as reactionary than conservative. I personally like things the old ways, both culturally and politically. As long as things reinvent themselves with today's values.

I blame Jonathan for this current development. I am not surprised though, what was GEJ doing for 5 years that he couldn't build the bridge he promised Ndi-Igbo? He couldn't even build anything for his SS people. I must confess that GEJ was a complete failure and a disgrace to the entire Eastern region. I will not judge the Buhari administration if it forestall the completion of the 2nd Niger bridge after all, it's the turn of the North. We all saw it coming. Didn't we?

1,450000 barrels of oil are shipped to the refineries through private owned vessels which is considered according to initial landing cost though pipelines as expensive

2,the pipelines conveying crude to the refinerieries are not worth it because of unabated vandalisation hence it had to be temporarily shit down

3,nnpc ask its subsidiary to ship the crude to the refineries but it does not HAVE VESSELS IT HAS TO USE PRIVATE VESSELS

4,it continues until it is safe to pump crude through the lines to the refineries
