Tell me why will they sell to public? They have stolen all the capital they need from the public, nigerian mtn is richer down three countries in Africa...they will use their electrnic power to steal from you to race more capital instead of calling you to come and buy shares Nigerians, some of you are either too stupidd or simply very dumb. Please check their listing on the Johannesburg exchange and yes, you can buy shares from Nigeria. This is a public forum, never expose your limited knowledge by trying to insult another OP. |

SenseiX: So after all the noise about phantom stolen billions of security funds and reported treason, all Buhari's bulldogs could Charge Col Dasuki after all their so called investigations is a charge of illegal possession of firearms Really funny. These guys are dumber than one thought. And some dolts would claim this isn't vendetta. You charge a former NSA and Retired Colonel with firearms possession and you want to be taken serious. I Thought you propagandists said he stole billions and was arming BH That sentence said it all. Even retired korofo keeps three to fours guns in his home. |

landinfo: Out of that $4 billion, only less than 5% is used for re-investment in Nigeria cos the the remaining 95% na big capital flight...Airtel did same when they first came to Nigeria, over #1-2billion waz shipped out of the country. There is nothing our govt can do about this so enjoy the ride.... If MTN spends less than 6% on reinvestment, 61M Nigerians would not be their customers today. By the way, MTN is a publicly traded company, you can buy shares and partake in their dividend payments. We need more companies like MTN not less. |

Adminisher: You don't really need to post if you don't have anything to say. I understand a lot of young PDP supporters are doing this now thinking it was the online comments which were valid at the time were what brought GEJ down and he lost the elections . However you are going to expose yourself to ridicule if you don't explain the relevance and intent of your post. The last Administration spent over $30 bn on defence and security in 4 years but the Nigerian Airforce is just number 12 in Africa and the Army has only about 100 tanks. Either you are empty and just adding your loud voice to some meaningless discordant noise or you are going somewhere with this . Please explain? You talk about exposing oneself to ridicule, O' boy, start with the nonsense you posted. |

socialmediaman: @ the bolded, Who taught you that? http://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/97511/37/nigerian-mobile-operators-pay-35-tax-report.html
Back to topic, what i meant was, they spend billions generating their own electricity using petrol and diesel, just like Nigerians also spend billions or even trillions nationwide daily generating their own electricity, which means our petrol pump stations and oil marketers are earning billions and trillions, yet our tax system doesn't capture much of this money being sank into the oil sector consumption I hope you know, you and I are the ones paying for services provided by MTN and Co, from which they pay taxes. Telcos pay taxes from the monies they collect from us. How many times do you want to tax the diesel used by the telcos. Their suppliers already pay taxes for the fuel, the telcos use contractors and they are responsible for these taxes at the point of loading at the depots. |
