OXYGEN01: when will mumugerians be free from foolishness? U generate your own power yet still uve been paying electricity bills to the government too.
Which government bill are you talking about? Government does not bill for power here. Check your state and tell us which private company is in charge.

Ashantiking: Actually I don't, all I have to do is go to the front page of nairaland and it will show all the suffering in Nigeria. From kidnapping to suicide bombing. Sorry it is what it is. Nigeria is a hellhole, you know it and I know it.
Imagine all these ills in this one country, yet they are ahead of you. All you can do, is come online and display your inferiority complex. shocked

Ashantiking: Yet everywhere in Nigeria is jakajaka, then again I am not surprise incompetence runs in your blood.
Whatever jakakapa you see in Nigeria, is 100000000% worst in Ghana. Your problem from time immemorial has been your inferiority complex. Even, when you leave the shores of Africa, the presence of a Nigerian, drives the fear of God into you. I don't know why you people were created this way.
Foreign AffairsRe: Made In Ghana Cars Ready For Market!! by atlwireles: 7:13pm On Jul 22, 2014
otumfour: So u solve ur problems by not holding ur government responsible for being incompetent huh?

wtf is wrong wit nigerians huh huh

No wonder una dey where una dey? pit latrine that is grin grin grin grin grin
Now, you are overstepping, let me deal with my government as you deal with yours. Don't pretend here, unless you are another internet impostor claiming to come from Ghana. There's nothing your government has done in last 30 years that I care to see duplicated in Nigeria. You have nothing to offer, regardless of the propandaga and noise.

Calling Nigeria a Pit latrine from a human being from Ghana, is just a man looking into the mirror. I wish your country the best, Nigeria will always remain to you the first among equals.

EasternLeopard: Comrade

We are all black Africans and so should encourage one another instead of pulling ourselves down

I repeat

Go Ghana

Go Biafra
I have not pulled anybody down. I have stated the obvious, as a Nigerian, I AM PROUD OF OUR CAN DO SPIRIT. Why should I be consigned by what Ghanians think? They have been hating since I had one as teacher in 80s. Yet, they are still behind us. Again, its just noise with them, been there, done that.

What you see is what makes a Nigerian different from a Ghanaian, we solve our problems, If that means generating my own power. We seek solutions not noise.

How smart is that statement? He buys generator to produce his own light? He actually becomes his own power company. I wished more Nigerians would do that. I see a people able to make it happen. Poor people don't buy generator. That's why Nigerians will always stand out.

brownlord: The country is poor, patriotism don't build project but money, the country is poor and rely heavily on foreign aid even from Nigeria they insult everyday. They don't manufacture anything, all their men are in door, speaking half baked english in the name of british accent. Let them ever stand for something against the west the way Nigeria stood against same sex marriage and watch the country crumble.
I don't why, but there is just a general hate against Nigeria from most countries around us. Maybe Niger is different, the rest will rather see us disappear. Ghana and Ivory coast are on the top of that list.

Ghanaians have not been used to erratic power outages unlike here which is the other of the day..and a normal routine.. Ghanians r not just okay with the present gov

emk4lif: I doubt he could have dissuaded Uduaghan from running for the Senate, James Manager would eventually defer to the governor, it was obvious that at some point Uduaghan would want that Senate seat. I doubt the tussle would affect Okowa's chances though.
I admit though, Ochei is very popular but this is Delta, more popular politicians have been cut down by the hierarchy................
I truly believe the manner, senator manager and Uduaghan power play gets resolved, will decide how the chips fall in the gov's race. There is already bad blood between the SSG and the Okowa team, as played out by PDP chairman outburst against SSG a couple of months ago. Also there is no love lost between manager and Okowa. I had hoped Uduaghan would play the balancing act, as he has always done in state. I don't see Manager conceding that seat to Uduaghan,as Orubebe will asked in the near future to stand down his campaign. The powers of our PDP elders have greatly diminished in the state, I don't see how they can control the incoming battle during the PDP primaries. That's why the Sylvester Monye, remains a name to keep behind our minds. He might end up as the compromise candidate.
PoliticsRe: Who Would Be The Next Delta State Governor In 2015- An Analysis by atlwireles: 3:36pm On Jul 22, 2014
emk4lif: It would have been political naive of him to have allowed Ochei continue gaining momentum , he just had to take the Speakership from him. While indeed he has a lot of foes, he still has the most solid base of any politician aside Ibori's in Delta and I think Gov Uduaghan would prefer Okowa to Ochei anyday.
Uduaghan will definitely prefer Okowa. By here's the big problem, why did Okowa and his political advisers allow Uduaghan to get into a senatorial race in Delta south? The last time I checked the incumbent is still seeking reelection. Ochei popularity is real, not just in Northern zone, but across the state. I don't see how Okowa is going to stop that.
PoliticsRe: Who Would Be The Next Delta State Governor In 2015- An Analysis by atlwireles: 3:28pm On Jul 22, 2014
emk4lif: Even if Utomi decamps, he is too much of a political featherweight to make an impact, the field is strangely quiet, the big three, Okowa,Ochei and Orubebe seem to be watching from the background and making consultations, I guess they all learnt from Ochei's fall,
Is pretty much a wait and see game. The gov seeking the senatorial seat from delta south has made lots of things complicated.
PoliticsRe: Who Would Be The Next Delta State Governor In 2015- An Analysis by atlwireles: 3:25pm On Jul 22, 2014
emk4lif: I doubt that, Sen Okowa still remains in my opinion the strongest of the pack and he showed his deftness in the way he removed Ochei, however Orubebe is no pushover and I fancy Uduaghan supporting a dark horse, also one can't rule out the Villa's influence in the equation.
I don't know, if I will call the removal of Ochei smart politics. Victor is popular and the man made his political name with a very small party, before decamping to PDP. He has a strong base of supporters, true believers.. Okowa just has too many political enemies, if I may use that word. They are all waiting to stick their knives in him.

SenseiX: Sen Ifeanyi Okowa will be the next governor of delta state
That's one name you can take off the list. After engineering the removal of ochei, he has further isolated himself.
PoliticsRe: Who Would Be The Next Delta State Governor In 2015- An Analysis by atlwireles: 3:11pm On Jul 22, 2014
There were rumours of Utomi decamping to PDP, however he came on twitter to deny it. The politics of the gov's race, looks too cloudy for now. Just a wait and see situation.
Car TalkInnoson To Roll Out N1.5m Cars by atlwireles(op): 1:40am On Jul 22, 2014
By Tony Edike
ENUGU—

Low and middle class Nigerians desiring to own brand new cars will soon realise their dreams as indigenous automobile manufacturing firm, Innoson Group of Companies, is set to launch its new products.
The firm, which manufactures cars, buses, tankers and other products, would from August 8 introduce brand new cars into the Nigerian automobile market at the cost of N1.5 million.

Chairman and Chief Executive of the company, Mr. Innocent Chukwuma, who announced this in Enugu yesterday, said the cars which would be fully air conditioned and come with other gadgets were made for Nigerians to have access to brand new cars.
The costliest of the coming cars, according to him, would be bought at N3.5 million.
Chukwuma, who spoke at the road show organised by Empower Nigeria at the Enugu campus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, told the students of the university how he started venturing into diversified enterprise.
He said: “I will launch my own cars in about two weeks time. And the cars will cost between N1.5 million and N3.5 million, depending on the cadre.”

The Innoson Group Chairman told the audience that his company was not into car assembly but actual car manufacturing.
Chukwuma said: “Some people think that my factory is an assembly plant, but they are wrong. We do not assemble, we manufacture.
“Eighty percent of Nigerians do not believe that we manufacture vehicles in my company. But we do manufacture.
“The raw materials are bought from different countries and some in Nigeria.”
Chukwuma said his workforce has hit over 7,500, expressing happiness that he had contributed immensely to the nation’s economy.
The founder of Empower Nigeria and President of Anabel Group, Nicholas Okoye expressed delight that such a successful entrepreneur like Chukwuma was able to honour the invitation to speak to the youths, regarded as the leaders of tomorrow.

PoliticsPDP Warns Atiku Over Media Propaganda by atlwireles(op): 1:16am On Jul 22, 2014
THE national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, against what it said was the negative propaganda embarked upon by his media aides which the ruling party observed could harm his legacy.

The ruling party was upset by a statement credited to the former vice president, where he accused the PDP-led Federal Government of “polarising the country along fault lines, as a means of diverting the attention of Nigerians from its ineptitude and apathetic posture to corruption and insecurity.”

A statement issued by the national publicity secretary of the PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, in Abuja, on Monday, said though the PDP would not want to join issues with Atiku, it, however, wanted the former vice president “to caution his media managers to desist from associating him with propaganda, political mudslinging and character assassination.”

It said PDP had deliberately chosen not to take on any of its former members now in the opposition for the simple reason that they were members of the same large family, differences in persuasions notwithstanding.

“However, it is shocking that the leaders and members of the APC have gone on rabid attack on the presidency and the leadership of the PDP.

“In spite of this, we wish to state, for the avoidance of doubt, that we stand by our position that the APC is a party of selfish, religious and ethnic bigots pursuing a supporter of APC ideology,” it said.

The statement added that APC and its leaders were embittered that the PDP machinery had been able to effectively expose and profile them as they truly were, adding that “they are in pains that Nigerians now know that APC has no agenda.”

The PDP warned that it would not relent but continue in the overall national interest to expose “their evil agenda, including their use of religion as a cover for narrow political ambitions.”

The statement added further that “on the issue of APC having an Islamic agenda, it is known to all and sundry that the the PDP never labelled it as such.

“We merely, in our statement of January 7, 2014, drew the attention of Nigerians to the revelation by an Islamic cleric, Ambassador Yusuf Garba and the Religious Equity Promotion Council (REPC) that the APC was seeking to impose on Nigeria, an agenda akin to that of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.”

The ruling party advised Atiku’s handlers to remember that he was once in the PDP and shared the same vision with the party.
