Marriage is an agreement to let a family happen (father, mother and child)
But its important that we know that Relationship is very important in marriage, hence what begins a relationship which is the attraction should be of eternal value.

No doubt about this. The point I made that @debosky debated was that the 'longevity' of a 'relationship' is determined by by 'what attracted' you. I am seeing a relationship but it seems you guys are seeing agreement. This is my point...If I get attracted to Ihedinobi because he dissects the word for instance, I enter a relationship with him based on the fact that i like the way he divides the truth. We agree to commit to each other then with our commitment comes responsibility. Now, in the long run, Ihedinobi could change and when he does, the thing that got me attracted to him is no more there so I wont be able to relate with him as usual anymore. In other words, the relationship died. I could live with him under same roof but there is no relationship. This is what I meant when I said 'the basis of attraction determines the longevity of the (relationship).'

What got yhu attracted covers up for the things yhu did not see. For instance, what attracted a man to a woman could be her humility, now, if later, he discovers she is not intelligent, d rship counts but if he discovers that the humility was shammed then the rship crumbles . mind yhu, the basis of attraction began the beginning of the rship and its loss marks the beginning of the end of the rship.

Commitment is to a rship first and when a rship is not there, the partners live a lie.

When it comes to marriage, there must be something yhu really want in a relationship ..it could be seen, sensed or felt. If it is seen, know that its likely not to last, If it is felt, know that feelings are unstable but If it is sensed then the probability that yhu will have a good relationship is there. Now, God is JUST to give you that thing yhu mainly looked out for in a person, except yhu were confused then, don't expect anything from him'
