Though I don’t know your definition for foes but what I do know is: they are unavoidable.Perhaps, your definition for foe,may be: someone who always says something bad about your achievements, someone who is never for a minute happy with your progress, someone who your downfall is his/her own happiness, someone who will risk everything to see you fall. Though the above definition is true, of course these are the definition I also give foes, but there is one more thing you never know about them which is: they are the only one who admits you are a step ahead of them. Here is why you should have more of them The above point seems positive about them and is one of the reasons why you, yes you should work harder in order to have more of them. Since the greater your achievements, the more foes you get. Why facebook doesn’t put the ‘dislike’ button— a joke If facebook today has a ‘Dislike’ button, could you imagine how many ‘dislikes’ you would have gotten maybe enough to melt facebook’s server, lol. So as long as you will be having more likes then you will expect some dislikes too. Because not everyone will buy-into your ideas—not everyone will go your way. You don’t need them to. You are no solution to their problem Always remember that either you do things in your way or the foe’s way, they will always laugh at your achievements and make bad comments about it. So why not do things your own way? And keep the foes laughing, since you are not a solution to their problem—you can’t help them out of the situation. The fact that you have some foes means you are doing great, so keep doing great . What I don’t mean This doesn’t mean you should start fighting your friends for you to have more foes. This is not the way, but what you need to do is to earn them with your achievement. Be nice to even your foes. How does this help you? Why do you keep crawling when you can walk? Why do you climb the Kilimanjaro when you are capable of climbing the Everest? What explains the above actions is self-limit. It is synonymous to friction which opposes the motion of object on earth. Can you imagine a planet without friction, where all object move freely without a possibility of stopping? Even with little effort of putting them into motion. This is an illustration of a life without self-limit. What you want is what you should get A life without self-limit is full of creativity, enthusiasms, great achievements, self-satisfaction and many more great things. Is this not the life you should work towards? Yes! Of course it is, but the truth is; you are afraid of giving it your best. You have to believe this If you have never believed in anything, you have to believe in this one thing that: there is no limit to your inner potential and to what you are capable of doing. This doesn’t have any exemptions, not even you. Though the life I live, the food I eat, the clothes I wear, my affinities are all different from yours, but we human beings all have the same level of inner potential. Now you wonder why some make it and others do not. You think since we have equal potential, our achievements should all be the same. What makes the difference is that those who make it never give self limit a chance. They believe they can do things others can’t do. So I think it is time for you to join this league. But, why not? So, go achieve your goal with full force. I mean with all the strength you’ve got without leaving any stone unturned, that is: without you leaving anyone unused. Why not? Why don’t you try this, even if it is once? I know you are afraid of failure and your fear goes thus: what if I fail after pursuing my goal with all my strength? Will this not make things worse? You think when this happen, you will lose self-confidence, you think you will feel helpless; you think the folks will laugh. But who even cares if you fail, not even your parents, everyone just wants you to try. So if you don’t give it a try that is when your failure means a lot. … Read more inspiring post on www.geotopwriter.com |
If setting your goals is important, don’t you think achieving them should also be. You probably must have realised that there is more to achieving goal than setting them. To set a goal is the easiest thing to do, but to achieve these goals requires a lot of work and courage. It is very demanding, stressful and tasking. After you have set your goals and you are set for achieving them some questions would start to arise. These questions include: What if I fail? What if I get rejected or mocked? What if I perform below expectation? What if I make mistakes I never should have made? What if…? Until you have nothing more to ask What you need to do Though, the above questions have some elements that draw your attention to them, they keep on building a castle of fear in you. The truth is, these questions need not be answered, because the answers lie within you, but you only fail to realise them. You need to realise that you were not meant to fail, you are meant to be accepted not rejected and your ability is more than expectation rather than below it. William Arthur once said: ‘if you can imagine it, you can create it and if you can create it, you can become it’. So, why not imagine who you want to be so that you can become it. Failure, rejection and mistakes are normal Failure, rejection and mistakes are all normal and at times are necessary for greater achievements. There are great people who have been rejected, who have failed and who definitely at some point in time, made mistakes. Famous figures like J.K Rowling, Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison had different experience before they became successful. J.K Rowling, who is currently the richest author, was the author of the famous book Harry Potter, but everyone who has read her book will think it was published on her first trial, but this wasn’t the case because her book was rejected by 12 different publishers before it was later published. The secret to her success is that: she never gave up even after getting herself rejected by 12 different publishers. Thomas Edison, who was the inventor of the light bulb, made his great shot after trying for 10,000 times but when Edison was asked the question about his success, he said: ‘I have not failed, but I have just discovered 10,000 different ways that won’t work’. Here is what I meant This is not a call for you to anticipate failure or make mistake, it is a call to let you persist even after you have been rejected or have failed and to let you know that failure, rejection, mistakes are all bound to happen and at times necessary for human success. You just have to keep on going even though the road is rough. Remember, the road to success is not always smooth. Read more exciting post on www.geotopwriter.com |
