My take is that Buhari is qualified having been cleared to contest in other elections before now or was Inec sleeping in both elections he contested in the past.Let Nigerians focus on peaceful election,and hope for the God chosen candidates to emerge.Campaigns must be issue based,not violence.Those who want Nigeria to burn will only have their own houses burnt.Buhari must talk openly to those who support his aspirations likewise Jonathan.If violence precedes an election,INEC must braze up and postpone or cancel such election.Nigeria in this time needs peace,and Jega can help us to achieve that by being preemptive before the dates of election.

if inec made a mistake in the past allowing buhari to contest, it doesnt mean he should be allowed to continue with. nigeria is moving forward not backward. we support change so lead by example.

So comparing Obama and GEJ doesn't make any sense, as GEJ is not your village head that can go roaming the street anytime he likes, he is CinC and can't go anywhere until his security details thinks it's safe for him to go.

i may not be a fan of gej but things are not that bad that nigeria will have to replace gej with buhari. haba! dont apc have young and vibrant personalities like el-rufai etc in the north to vie for that? imagine the other day i heard buhari cant remember his phone number and the whole apc world descended on gej. yesterday he forgot the name of his running mate at a rally. hmmm! come to think of it, at an international conference, gmb as the president of frn is making a speech and maybe, wants to make reference to jacob zuma only for him to say jacob hollande of australia. haba people. i expected a young and vibrant person to challenge the pdp, only for them to present an illiterate septuagenerian without certificates.

many lagosians feel nigeria starts and ends in lagos. anybody that stays in the north will know that gmb is not it. the peace he is enjoying in the south campaigning cant be enjoyed by a southerner campaigning in the north. most of his brothers in the north have already written him off on the ground that he is associating himself with unbelievers to the point of going to the church. they have started comparing him with abacha who shook hands with pope john paul in 1998 to their anger. abacha died the same year under mysterious circumstances. gmb is only but too desperate to enter aso rock, according to them. they know he is going for revenge not governance.
they are also aware of buhari's condition. real northerners have concluded that power returns to the north come 2019. that is why all the northern governors including apcs endorsed gej. though the apcs did it secretly. what happened to yaradua that brought gej to power might happen again if gmb enters aso rock.

Now, what if by sheer happenstance Buhari decides to get petty as well and blurts out his phone number and othat of several other people (I know this will never happen, but just saying) on a campaign ground, what does that then make GEJ??

omenka, I think you have no point on this. if buhari accusses and attacks gej it's no problem but when gej responds you tag him an angry person. well, a leader without good memories is as clueless as anything. gmb should present his road map on how he w ishes to run the government different from what he did before.
gej is giving facts not fiction.

I laugh each day I hear people say buhari will fight corruption. I ask myself : is Nigeria's problem only corruption? what about insecurity, morality, tribalism, ethnicity, religion, which gmb is guilty of all. he made a statement in the past that if he doesn't win he will make the country ungovernable for Jonathan. Boko Haram became stronger. unforgivable heart can only be a product of immorality. Mandela stands out. Fulani folks are on the rampage killing people at will in their ancestral lands. has gmb ever said a word against this or made an attempt to tell his kinsmen to stop? he also made a statement that muslims should only vote for muslims. a fortnight ago gov lamido of jigawa accused gmb of masterminding disunity. he preaches religion when he is in the north with his brothers and pretends neutrality in the south not knowing that people are hearing him. what am very sure of is that gmb is all out for revenge against his northern emirs, ibb and other enemies of his. this country has gone beyond what it used to be. to fight corruption, it will have to be through a revolution starting with your household which I know gmb can't do.
we need a young vibrant figure better than gej which buhari isn't.

Gmb can't control his fellow Fulani folks and he claims to be popular. They are busy attacking farmers and destroying lives and property. What about 2011 election violence? he was quick to support his supporters who went on rampage killing innocent corpers that his supporters were angry because the result was manipulated. It was even his supporters that rigged the elections. The police in my area were threatened and forced to just watch thinking they will win. He can't rule his own household yet he thinks he can rule this great nation. Both him and his running mate are weaklings. Moreover, terrorism knows no religion, party or tribe. It is against anything that it doesn't want.

nigerian presidency is not acquired through ascription, achievement is the key, i mean academic. Moreover, Nigeriais a certificate country. The constitution is very clear on that.
