I think iits the price,so manyp people want the hot 3 to keep its low price even as dollar is about 300naira compared to d hot 2 wen it was about 200naira.seems they cut cost by using a cheaper chipset and are trying to sell d device on its bigger battery,selfie cam and for those that hated stock android they switched to xui.if anyone has a hot 2 its definitely not worth the upgrade but if they had the original hot then maybe.although going to a 5.5 inch screen size was unnecessary to me

from hot 2 to hot 3 is not worth it at all... Just for the bigger screen. And the display would be poor compared that of hot 2 cos they both have the same resolution

What‘s this? Well that‘s just your opinion.. Some of your points are wrong.
1. Don‘t compare infinix hot 2 to hot 3... It‘s like comparing huawei nexus 6p to huawei mate 8... Google is responsible for the updates and not infinix.
2. Here‘s where you got it wrong.. You don‘t expect them to sell it for #25,000 when the hot 2 2gb ram variant goes for #27,600. With all the dollar ish.
5. It‘s only the 1gb ram variant of the infinix hot 3 that uses mtk... The 2gb variant uses a 64bit SD 415

My statement is all abt comparism wif those xiaomis cos I see som1 here sayn redmi 3 is 36k when it's sold for 48k....al thos hypes abt xiaomi and ulephone rili sucks.....and the point is xiaomi or lenovo can't sell a phone lik dis 4 36k or less....

a friend of mine bought xiaomi redmi 3 for $125 with his stanbic card with the rate of #280 which gives #35000. The price you quoted up there is for those resellers on nairaland... They are just here to make huge profits from people that dont know their way around dollar rates
