Please run your visa with the old one. Once you get to germany dont tell immigration you are changing location at the airport. Just tell people at the airport your are going to the destination on your visa. Once you are out of the airport, move to your desired location. Get a house, register there and extend there, explain at the aliens office that the admission came after you had done your interview and they will call for your documents from the initial place. So no fear. I did the same

coldasice007:
please can anyone confirm if it is possible to change your admission letter after interview but your application has not yet being processed or sent to the aliens office in germany.

In the house

Schoener Tag,

It has been a while. It feels good to be writing here once again. Most especially from the other side (I mean in Germany). So far, Life in Germany has been great. The system is cool and functional and everything works here. It is a buoyant economy and those who have learnt a little German would find it even more lovely.

The people are easier on you and are very willing to lend several hands once you start with the word, ''Entschuldigung''. Please learn some German at least to B1 level and also familiarize yourself with German materials, musik, documents, movies and all. This doesnt imply that non german speakers find it difficult here. I am only saying you would be more advantaged once you know some Deutsch.

There are also many things you would be happy about here. First, Uninterrupted power supply, functional transport system, and availablity of student jobs that would make life wonderful for you. You just need to learn to manage working and studying and you are good to go.

No regrets man. Feeling really good with the hope of reforming my country but not at the expense of my own life.

It was worth the struggle.

Mach Spass!

PLEASE OOO

ACHTUNG ACHTUNG ACHTUNG!

He that has eyes let him read well.

If you know that you intend to change school when you get to Germany, please do not tell them that story at the immigration at the airport oo. When they ask "where you are going to" or "where your final destination is", please and please tell them the destination on your visa. For example, your visa indicates that you are going to study in Kiel and you intend to attend Rhein waal. Please tell them you are going to kiel. At the Alien office of your new destination you can do explanation. Any good-will explanation at the airport is DEPORTATION

Isn't 8640 Euros the needed amount for extension of the student visa? What I mean is, Deutsche bank might send confirmation for those who applied with the old form, but the Alien office might require 8640 for the extension in Germany.

Gurus we need clarification ooo.

Thanks for your response. I appreciate. Do you have more information about the Goethe B1/B2 exam? Goethe location? Cost of the exam? Duration? I anticipate your prompt response.

Bis später. smiley

All one needs to fail in life is enough pessimism, whether you are in America or Syria. Nevertheless, one's environment plays a crucial role in the full realization of potentials. I know for sure that if you can survive in Nigeria, you can survive in many parts of the world because things are really and currently tough in our Heimland. THERE IS CONFIRM HARDSHIP IN NIGERIA. Everything is expensive, the rate of unemployment soars higher with each passing year, education, the bedrock for the development of nations, is deteriorating daily and the Government seems clueless.

However, this is our country and we should not hate her but rather help her. Certainly, there are a lot of individuals on this forum who dream of aiding in the reconstruction of our nation. My prayer is that our dreams for Nigeria and not nightmares will become real. Please, the world is full of enough discouragement already. We dont want more and I must say that I am happy to know that negativity irritates us on this forum.

Yes madam. Maybe you don't know ooo but majority, if not all of your contributions on this part 3 thread have been towards the negative side. I was discussing with a group of friends who also belong to this forum and a question popped up one day- WHO IS THAT SCHWARZ? Our short conversation about you was full of resentment, disregard and disappointment. Your comments are full of hopelessness and strife.

Do you know what a corporate job in naija is now like? You go wake up 4am, leave house 5am, come house 10pm after beta workload, frustration and confirm hold-up to meet no NEPA and thereafter leave house the next day at 5am. Dont forget weekends oooo YES Saturday and Sunday. Most employers now in Naija want you to work overtime without extra pay. Forget leave ooo, the country is economizing and companies are cutting-costs, so we need you daily. On the hand, the reverse is the case in Deutschland. My uncle lives and works in Germany. In April, he was on an 8 weeks holiday here in naija. Summer holiday is coming soon ooo not to talk of Christmas breaks. These things dont happen here frequently anymore. STUDYING AND WORKING IN NAIJA ALMOST DOESN'T HAPPEN. STOP PAINTING GERMANY BLACK AND DISCOURAGING PEOPLE

Finally my guys, shopping in developed nations are beta than in Naija. Things like clothes, food, electronics are relatively affordable and have good qualities because they are manufactured in the country and are seldom imported. How many students in naija can dream of buying a good Laptop on their own? or pay house rent or health insurance without assistance? how many Nigerians are even on health insurance?

Believe is what gives hope. Hope is what drives actions and Actions are what yield results.

When I was applying, I first certified all my documents at a court and uploaded them online. These copies were used for online applications. Subsequently, I certified copies to be posted by mail at the embassy at no cost. I suggest you do the same as this would enable you complete any online application and allow you certify subsequent copies to be posted at the embassy. God bless.

Team Winter.

7Alexander:

Please guys unclejudax williamso diboss . I went to the German embassy today to certify my documents, and they gave me a leaflet which said I will need to book an appointment for that, more so, I should bring along my completed university application form.
My problem is this, for me to be able to print out the application form, I must have finished the application process, uploading of my certified documents inclusive.
Hence, I WILL NEED THE CERTIFIED DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION.
How then am I supposed to bring an application form which is not yet complete, because I need to certify my documents.
Or, do I not need to certify the documents to be uploaded to uniassist during .y application?

Brother. Though I havent gotten an admission yet, I applied to schools in North Rhein Westphalia and Munich. God bless you

lobito007:

Bro, I am not gay, but I just fell in love with you for this. I am in a similar situation to this petroleum guy you cited. 95% of peeps with my kind of job and life right now will not quit for a study abroad. But it's all about ambition and vision. #TeamWinter here too for TUMunich. What's your destination?
Travel / Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Augustine21(m): 1:46pm On Jun 19, 2016
@nineteenth, people make sacrifices for their dreams. The prospects of having a better life as a graduate of a German university is high. What is 90k and danfo? If you have been earning 90k for 3yrs now ,I can boldly tell you that the value of your salary is now around 45k. The things you could buy for 20k last 2yrs will cost around 40k nw.

For some this German dream is just a " let me try thing" for others it's a major step to their futures. If it is worth it or not is based on your vision. For people who have a strong plan, quitting a job or selling a property is a must pay price. You would be amazed if you know what many have done to raise blocked account cash. I know a guy who was working for a petroleum company and earning well. Before he got his job he had this German dream, so he worked and saved for 3yrs. After 3yrs, he quitted his relatively high paying job and left for Germany( many would never try that).Today, He is not regretting it one bit.

I will never make a decision for you. Weigh your options, analyse and decide.
Since you have an admission, you are one leg in.

YOU ARE A MAN. MAKE YOUR DECISION AND BE RESONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS. wink

New policy new policy new policy! It's just another term for devaluation. Owing to mismanagement and corruption, the country has no other choice but to devaluate. The problem is that, if the nation doesn't enforce accountability and steady development, the value of its currency will continue to drop and devaluation will always be our option. In the long run, more denairiation will eventually lead to increased hardship and finally collapse of the system. This is the simple maths.

My fellow Germanairalanders, if you were able to raise 1.8m , run and fight to complete your requirements. God that has put this dream in you will empower you to the end. Dont just give up. You are so close. The men that failed this nation are still ruling us with impunity. Consequently, betterment might take a life time to become evident. We only have a life time. Should we then suffer for other people's rascalism?

We are the change when we play right. PLAY YOUR ROLE BY SHUNNING EVIL AND DOING WHAT IS JUST.

Team Winter.
