He was so lucky. Less than 2yrs. That means he was released this yr. He probably had good record prior to his arrest and it helped reduced his prison sentence. As for "jazz" etc, I really hate using those terms. They are used by touts that look for easy way of out something especially yahoo boyz. Anyway, every bad scheme and evcen dua intended to cause harm to someone even if you are in the right are all wrong. Islam teaches patient and restraining oneself. But i can understand instances where things are really tight and we tend to look for justice where we are losing. If we can just take heart and let it slide the better. Not that i encourage it but in tight situation where one feels the need, it should just be for that and that's it and make tawba afterward. But if it becomes habit whereby alfa threatens someone for every slight incident even if he is right, such alfa is classified bad and should be avoided. A good alfa would try all means to avoid using power that Allah gifted him.

he was released October this year and he wasnt deported, he was just freed uncondotionally. We even talked yesterday. But i guess he learned his lessons sha! Two years in Jail no be beans. Honestly here in the North especially in The NE deviant Alfas are having their ways! Especially these Kanuri people from Borno very dangerous set of people and the annoying part is that they do all their wicked acts in Mosques, people will just be hailing them Alaramma not knowing that most of them are destroying othet peoples lives inside the Mosque. There is a central mosque in My place here that i use to go for my prayers and adhkars, i got acquinted with one Borno Alfa like that, not knowing that there's a rift between him and my old man. I thanked Allah that i found out earlier, had n i ignorantly told him my Old man's name i would have been in soup. My P man told me the man is dangerous, there was a man who my old man had a face off with about some Govt contracts, he told me the Alfa was contrcted to change it for him but he was lucky Allah saved him and he even saw the man in his dreams. Borno Alfas are very dangerous i think some of their eveil deeds formed BH sef.

We muslims are truly blessed. This thread changed my life wallahi. I dont know that all i need to succeed in this life and the heareafter is inside the Quran that i always keep in my room. There was a prayer my Old man who happens to be a Modibbo gave me few months ago. Fast Seven days and Recite 25 Waqee'a inbetween all the five obligatory salats. On the last day of the fast one should recite 50 of the said surah instead of the normal 25. Making it 1k in one week. Honestly i'm feeling and experincing the result of that prayer.. Please Sheik Empiree i know that posting some things here is not healthy since its a public forum but help us and be dropping one or two Nakali for Those of us that have made up our minds to do it no matter the challenges. Sheik. What is nkaan bee faa?? I understand you usually talk with your sheik in Yoruba thats why sometimes you name somethings in Your language. There is this friend of mine who is a student in China and we do run business together, through him i got a contact of his friend a Hausa guy from Kano who is also studying there and is into currency exchange, i usually send money and receive money through him. One thing leads to another the guy started run some Runs for G boys unfortunately for him he was arrested, this happened around sept 2017, his father traveled all the way to China and hired a lawyer to help clear the guy of all charges but it was unfortunate there are glaring evidences found against him.

Gaskia! I don't subscribe to all these Maulid celebration and Wazeefa! To me its noise pollution I don't like it one bit! And I think that's the reason our people here don't pray in Yoruba mosques! Everyday they have new program and the problem is, Men and Women mix in the same place. And I think it's more of our culture that even in mosques women should be at the back or even enter their chambers! Our central mosque here have Women Chambers. You hardly notice women in the mosque!

The reason I don't like All this Maulid celebration is the way Men and Women, Married women will be out there jumping and shouting The Prophets (S.A.W) name like they are in a political campaign or Party! Loud Speakers and even DJ's and with the little knowledge I have Islamic songs are not haram but mixing it with different sounds is what makes it haram! I use to listen to some Islamic songs on AFRICA TV3 Channel, no beats no DJ's just 100% voice.

And Also this Wazifa of a thingere people will sit round a white piece of cloth! Yoruba mosques do it aot here

Yes I pray 5 times daily. and I told her nothing but the truth! I used to have same problem with the OP. but I made up my mind to establish regular prayers in no time I got used to it. Islam is not all about emotions or doing what pleases you. Islam is all about Quran Sharia and the Sunna of Prophet (S.A.W)

Reading through the comments has just proven to me that we have a problem in this country. How can you openly disregard another person's religion just because you weren't born in it. I'm a sociologist and I was made to understand that everything we are today is as a result of our culture.

Can we just stop fighting because of religion? It's very annoying. If you were born a Muslim, you'll practice Islamic religion and if you were born a Christian, you'll go to church. Although, you can decide to change when you grow up.

To our brothers and sisters in Islam, we're sometimes our enemy. We often believe we're perfect because we observe the 5 daily prayers but this is far from the truth. Once you do not use hijab or follow a doctrine, you become a devil.

To my Christian brothers and sisters, you see your wife as a devil once she doesn't pray from morning till night. We have a very big problem in this country and religion is one of it. We claim to be Christians and Muslims yet, we do not love ourselves.

I know praying 5 times daily is compulsory in Islam and I'll adjust and take it one step at a time (nobody can force me. I'm an adult). Then again, what if I pray and my intentions are devilish? People don't care about intentions, all they know how to do best is "eye-service"

Praying is very necessary but you can't force it on anyone. It has to come from the heart and the person has to be ready for it.

As for my husband, he's reading this thread too because I had to show him. We're still reading through and laughing together here. I believe we're fine and religion can not tear us apart.
