Aslam Alaikum. Please I have some questions I want to ask you regarding what you posted earlier.

Q1. You said one should read Suratul Yaseen and stop at every mubeen, then recite 100x Q54:45, Ya Qahhar and Ya Jabbar. my question here is are we going to start from the first ayah after reaching the first mubeen or we can continue after reciting the 100x prayers??

Q2. I want to know whether one should recite Suratul Fatiha when performing the Suratul Ikhlas Nafil prayer. before reciting the 50 Ikhlas are we going to recite Fatiha or one can just go ahead and read 50 Suratul Ikhlas after making Niyah. And please can one end it with Salatul Ibrahimiyya or must be Salatul Fatih?

Salam alaykum bro i am blessed with the gift of performing tahajjud everyday. No matter how tired I am before my night sleep i will still find it easy to wake up i hardly yawn, feel sleepy or tired when awake. I noticed i am always happy and a kind of calmness and tranquility descend upon me for the whole of the day apart from other spiritual signs.on days i did not perform tahajjud i notice i am always heavily depressed no matter how hard i try to be happy. I wanted to live like a normal person and also out of laziness i stopped and also slack in my religous obligations. This affected my life negatively. I became heavily depressed and resorted to engage in sinful acts my grades in uni are poor and there is no way i can graduate with the minimum grade requirement for the labour market
For a young man few years from his mid twenties
How can i achieve all my great dreams and be successful with this my poor grade. Will Almight Allah have mercy on me due to my sins. The future looks bleak

I have learnt to hold on to my gift and i will appreciate if anyone can tell me how to maximize the use of it

Aslam Alaikum. Honestly I'm also a student on this thread I think the Mallams on this thread will respond in no time.

Don't ever think about not achieving your dreams because of grade. mind you i'm not saying you should joke with your studies. but if that's how Allah want it to happen then so be it. you can't have it all. Tony Elumelu Graduated with 3rd while the so called first class graduates are praying day and night just to have a chance to work for him. Guy if I will tell you my story you will forever thank Allah for your life. Some people are book smart some Are good in trading like Igbo's some are good in Farming while some are good in rearing animals. You need to really change the way you think that's the first step. First identify what you want then go for it. with Allah by your side you will surely get it. I got partial scholarship last year to study abroad . but due to some unforseen circumstances I didn't make it. i was depressed because I spent a lot. but I turn to Allah and he gave me a better alternative. Last year I was down both financially and spiritually. But Allah gave me a better replacement. I'm now my own boss I work for my own Company, mind you last year like this i'm empty and depressed. There is nothing that Allah cannot do for you. Just keep on praying to Allah to show you the way and make the best choices for you.

However that aside,let's be all honest we are lazy. If we all sit and think, wealth of yesterday with emphasis on Muslims in Nigeria isn't like today Infact I don't think we have many that can boast wealth like that of yester years and if there are iam 100% sure they are taking same path of this people being super praying

We have strayed and prefer faster means. If we all watch we will see all the so called wealthy people have issues of wealth loss,and most depend on government but in those days it was pure business No dependancy on man and Allah opened the door.High % of wealthy men of today mix Quran and fettishness,so their wealth has limit and no blessing

Brother, there was a wealthy man that lent his state government money but he is now dead.

You see the secret of wealth if you want to have enormous and keep it:is not to joke with Quran,dhikr,and sadaqah ..be very very generous and enjoy doing it .EVEN ME I KNOW THIS BUT IAM LAZY

I have a Mallam who is sunnatic and my good pal .He usually gists me on prayers they do but refuses to tell me names which is good.I knew years back when a big man wanted something from government ,41 Mallam were gotten yasin was recited 41 daily together with some ayat from Quran for 10 days and each and every one of those Mallam had access to slaughter for sadaqah daily .so calculate. .OF COURSE THE BIG MAN GOT WHAT HE WANTED

Another time Quran was recited 1000 times over a period,but he said the 1000ce times mostly is big people that do it,I even jokingly asked him that ooh so iam a small person ? .see all of us reading books wondering how rich men do it,don't deceive your self,this is what I dare say all of them do

The truth is we all know the secret to prosperity but a lot of us are lazy or dont have the means to pay for it.One thing be careful who you approach to recite whole Qur'an for you be sure they are good and don't involve in shirk .

I had 2 major problems years back on different occasions....I fortunately had access to a very good man who recited Quran for me on those 2 occasions if I tell you how those two issues turned round and the way it did you will be shocked.

For One of the issues,i told him my intention is that they should be the ones to open their mouth and expose them selves,they did within one week and got fired from work .(they were very very wicked criminals and caused people pains)
But mind you I also got up on my own to be saying tahajjud I didn't just leave that someone is reciting Quran oooo never do this !as lazy as I was ,I got up and was saying some nafillah and dhikr that a friend had given me

This is why I get surprised when people involve boka or babalawo .

lol are you scared? Nope I haven't started because I was told that it's not only ihklas that one should be reciting, it also has its own khutba. I can remember ikupakuti talked about it on this thread. it will be done for 365 days straight! no excuses.
I will definitely do it, I already saved it on my to-do list.

Yes what you said is very true. Alhajis of the 60's 70's 80's and 90's are the real Alhajis. take for example the likes of Dan tata, The owner of Chachangi Airlines, Mohammed Ribadu, That Nasco Elder from Niger state. there list is endless, even here in my state there was a man Jibirrilla Mubi uncle to the Ex Governor of the state, this man died since year 2000 but till date I know one of his children that earn 500k each an every month from his fathers inheritance. Our Elders used the power of prayers to a live a fulfilled life

i just Smh! for the present generation, I can't thank Allah enough for what he has done to me in this life. if not because of Allah I will have gone deep into evil. The only sure way to get enjoy both Duniya and Akhira is through Prayers and constant remembrance of Allah (SWT).

Actually I was brought up in the Family of Modibbos. My Third name is Modibbo lol. since when I was a little kid mallams do sit and read lots of Quran and tasbihi in our Compound till date. I attended Islamic school from Nursery to Ss3. But I didn't take it serious. But Allah in his infinite mercy cleansed me and showed me the way. no amount of cleverness or business acumen can make you rich. Except Allah. but must of our guys are just too lazy they rather go into rituals. Like what's happening in Mubi. and the beauty of prayers is that you will reap the reward both in Duniya and Akhira.


You are right, about using the services of Mallams most of them are just scammers they won't read a single Ayat but will collect your bar and tell you stories. As for me, we have Mallams that usually work for our Oga so whenever I need them I just talk to my Oga and he will make the necessary Arrangements for me. One of my close friend have a younger brother that has memorized almost 50 suras in the Quran. him and 4 of his friends can recite the whole of Quran in 3hrs!! we have many of them here in the North.

I don't visit Mallams for anything. I do everything myself. I only visit Mallams to tap from their knowledge. The old loves talking so when you are with them always listen to what they are saying. I sometimes record all our gist sef and keep it for future use lol.

it's very unfortunate that many people don't even know the power of prayers. May Allah continue to guide us. Ameen

But I will give just 2:
1)Usually my dreams have this funny weather not sunny but kind of bright day really bright

I was standing across the road there was a woman with a child on the other part of the road.The child kept saying something but I could not hear or understand so I asked the woman what is she saying and in Hausa ,the woman responded, "she said you should hold dua /Sallah very well"

I no go lie I still haven't followed that advise earnestly and please don't even start to warn me toh

2) I was in a a shopping complex built in the open and in semi circular way with flower in centre.I was standing at the edge of the complex by the first shop when all of a sudden these huge serpents rushed past us with speed like hurricane I heard this loud destructive noise and when I turned,it was the car I had driven

Some weeks after I had a car accident within an estate .no car hit me ooo..it came all of a sudden apparently ,I hit a bar at the road side .terrible accident .car almost somersaulted and was damaged. People had to park and came out they were surprised that i was the one in it as i just stood quietly at the side as if no be me.
I just packed that car jeje and never drove it.that's all

Dreams are relative to the individual and cant be given general interpretation .there are some dreams that once I have them,I know one idiot somewhere is shukaing munafurci i.eThat is some one is plotting some hypocrisy against and it always turns out so ,so when I realised this as soon as I wake up,a lot of times I ask my self who is the idiot now planning nonsense again then I make lots of dhikr in my mind and if I can ,I can I make sadaqah.It reduces the Impact or exposes the super idiot

Wallahi brother I used to be good but now I have spoilt ..I used to be soft and have conscience now my heart has hardened which is reason why iam not close to Allah like before ...Iam trying tosee how to be close to him like before evil people and experiences changed me

Evil people are getting powerful day by day while we are just sleeping. Laziness is our biggest enemy .

My Modibbo told me a story about a prominent man in kano back in the 90's , the man is dam! rich he owns and airline Company then. He use to recite suratul Ikhlas 3k each an every night for over 40 years!
But you need to engage in loads of dhikr. if you can afford the services of Almajirai to help you chant loads and loads of dhikr better do so. like a 100m Ya ladeefu and Ya Hayyu ya Qayyum.
