Foreign AffairsPray For Our President As He Visit Obama by Auspiman(op): 11:26am On Jul 16, 2015
Agents of Light
At a time like this we urge all Nigerians to pray for our President and his entourage as they visit Obama (the champion of Gay & lesbian right) so as not to succumb to the temptation of reversing the Anti-Gay Right that was endorsed by majority of Nigerians and passed by the last administration.
Remember that, such visit by the last President to Obama resulted in U.S severing relationship with Nigeria. When it was obvious that the former President is not going to reverse the Anti-Gay right law.
We urge all Nigerians, Pastors and Imams to start praying for our President and his entourage not to succumb to the wish of Obama on Gay right as they visit U S on 20th of July 2015. God lead our President.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Calls For Revolution by Auspiman(m): 11:33pm On Sep 30, 2014
Revolution! yes I agree because it will be sweeping against most APC and PDP leaders but common-sense-Revolution sounds skewed to trick gullible Nigerians and to whose advantage, APC as comprised today? Never.
PoliticsExamination For Nigerian Leaders by Auspiman(op):
EXAMINATION FOR NIGERIAN LEADERS

We, the youths are being made to lose hope in having an ordered and working system. We are denied the rights and respect we should be accorded to by our past and present leaders. We have been made to face harsh conditions in our own country; a country that was formerly our pride. A country we cherish, beloved and was ready to defend. Oh!! What is happening? A country nobody wanted to leave for another, now, so deserted by our youths because of the high handedness of our selfish leaders, that made our youths to believe that until you travel outside our borders, you can’t make it, leaders so disillusioned in their selfishness that they made their own children believe that our dear country, the pride of Africa is doomed, God forbid!!!

They dignify any expatriates to demean their nationals. They observe International laws not minding whether it is against their citizens or not, even when the originators are not observing such laws. Their actions and inactions vocally tell foreigners not to respect Nigerians. Wait ooh!!! Are they for us, really? Any decision taken by foreign governments against the Nigerian citizens is okay hence, the foreign governments keep protecting their investments and interests.

They are not ashamed of messing up the natural endowments God has blessed us with; making nonsense of our being famously known as an oil producer, among the comity of nations.

They made us laughing stock among the nationals of other countries; the few ruling class established corruption and equally spread it for their selfish god-forbidden gains and made all of us suffer stigmatization of what they gained and still gaining from, hence, their names are missing in the conviction list.

They lack the muscle to retaliate when needed against foreign governments’ decisions against our general good, even when they try to do so; it is usually on wording level, no concrete action in such direction. Are we really doomed as a country?
The so called leaders tell us every day not to be patriotic by their actions, panache, gestures, words and inactions (unknowingly) but only tell us to be patriotic intentionally knowing that we are not convinced.

QUESTIONS- Our leaders, is our SYSTEM really working? If No, why, not RESIGN? If Yes, why have your medical examinations and treatments abroad? If yes, why using generators? If yes, why train your children abroad? If yes, why no regard for our public opinions? If yes, why such insecurity in the land? If yes, why the high rate of infant and maternal mortality? If yes, why high poverty level in the country? If yes, why allowing foreign companies come into Nigeria with majority of their workforce? If yes, why our economy not diversified? If yes, why the high rate of unemployment? If yes, why sacrificing merit over sectional sentiments? If yes, why the poor quality of education? If yes, why playing politics with religion? If yes, why no social security in Nigeria? If yes, why no maintenance culture? If yes, why the rate of tax evasion? If yes, why stash our money in foreign banks? If yes, why Nigerian citizens suspicious of their leaders? If yes, why sharing out our security personnel to the rich? If yes, why such insurmountable-like corruption?

PoliticsEfcc Can Still Save Nigerians’ Job by Auspiman(op):
EFCC CAN STILL SAVE NIGERIANS’ JOB
Economic and Financial Crime commission (EFCC) is established to combat financial and economic crimes. It is charged with the responsibility of enforcing the provisions of its Act of establishment and other laws and regulations for economic and financial crime.
As we encourage them to be more responsive in their duties, we also advise them to come up with modalities that will ensure no more job lose for Nigerian citizens in carrying out their duties.
We, the youths are concerned with the rate of unemployment in our dear country, and while the Commission should avoid worsening the already pathetic situation in the process of carrying out their legal duties.
The House of Representative on the 28th day of February 2013, witnessed a motion authored by 16 lawmakers, moved by Hon. Okechukwu Toby; in the motion they contended that there were lots of unsettling issues surrounding seized assets by the EFCC. The lawmakers revealed that the forfeited assets, estimated at over two trillion naira comprised landed properties and business concerns, bank accounts, shares in blue chip companies, exotic vehicles, fuel stations, hotels, warehouses, chopping malls, schools, bakeries, housing estates and radio stations in and outside Nigeria.
The above list can go on and on for I know of a telecommunication company that was also seized by the EFCC and in most of all these seizures, the employees lost their jobs, for the Commission normally clamps down the activities of these establishments. In the process, most of the establishments rot and turn to be its own shadows, what a waste!
For any property seized, it takes time for the commission to ascertain/determine the status of such property because of court processes, as such; we suggest that the commission adopt a Two-Managerial approach for such properties. The first should be applied at the point of seizure, when the property has not attained forfeiture status and the second applied when such property is forfeited to the Federal Government. This will keep the property operational and economically viable, especially employee-oriented establishments.
The Nigerian citizens should not be made to experience loss of jobs for the simple fact that EFCC is doing their work. Should raiding on suspected corrupt persons increase the rate of unemployment in Nigeria? If no, then, modalities should be worked out in ensuring Nigerians working in any seized or forfeited properties still maintain their jobs. The country should not be cursed by such seizure/forfeiture, rather should benefit from it. If the Commission should allow such rot in these properties to continue, then, what is the difference rescuing proceeds of corruption and allowing same to waste through rot, devaluation and abandonment. This will not serve us well as a country. Imagine seeing a situation where the entire inactive seized/forfeited employee-oriented establishments are resuscitated, can you figure out the impact on our economy and unemployment rate?
The Commission needs to get the services of Professional Managers, perhaps, in partnership with Nigeria institute for Management (NIM) (Chartered) to oversee these establishments and also mandate them to submit their records of all financial transactions to Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) office of the Commission. Retaining the jobs will enhance our economy and will reduce security challenges in our country.

PoliticsIs Youth Unemployment Holding Nigeria Down? by Auspiman(op):
IS YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT HOLDING NIGERIA DOWN?
For us in Unemployed Graduates Association of Nigeria (UGAN), we see unemployment as a state of uselessness to the state of an army of youths who have being denied opportunities to contribute to the development of their state by their governments. Tatyana Volkova and Felix Volkova (1986) corroborate this view when they defined unemployment as to be left without an opportunity to eat food and have decent housing, it means to lose confidence in today and hope for tomorrow.
Millions of Nigerian youths have acquired certain skills so that they could be empowered or employed to enable them take care of their aged parents, provide their needs and that of their families, and also pay their taxes. Unfortunately, unemployment seems to have quashed our forward-looking-healthy aspirations.
Unemployment as we all know is a social disease and with such magnitude of unemployed Nigerian youths, one is tempted to say, our dearest country is socially sick. The blame for this illness is more on the previous Federal governments, especially the Military regimes and most previous and current state governments than the present Federal government because of their seen efforts in youth’s empowerment and job creation. At this point, we implore the federal and State governments to re-strategize towards creating jobs through agriculture, information Technology and other skill acquisition programs. Federal government should re-examine the laws establishing EFCC and its other sister commissions/agencies as regards seizure and forfeiture of establishments/properties owned by a financial crime suspect. We all know it is a common practice by these Commissions/Agencies to seize and close down the operations of any company/establishment owned by someone suspected of a financial crime and the employees of such establishment would all lose their jobs. Thousands of Nigerians have lost their jobs this way. We now ask for a change, a methodology be worked out (perhaps in collaboration with Nigeria Institute of Management, NIM) in such a way that every employment-generating-establishment owned by a suspect can continue to run and survive while the commissions/Agencies still do their job. With this, we believe that our economy and citizens are better served.
To the question, of whether youth unemployment is holding Nigeria down, our answer is a capital ‘YES’ for the following reasons which is also why we have been held back as a country:
Nigeria as a country has witnessed increased rate of armed robbery, prostitution, fraud, mass exodus of our youths outside our golden shores, unpatriotic youths, examination malpractice, malnutrition as a result of creeping poverty, families breakdown etc.
The recently noticed crimes in our clime as a result of unemployment are kidnapping, oil-theft, baby production/baby factories, stealing of babies, even in hospitals etc.
Other effects of unemployment include the unintended breeding of a battalion of youths who may be easily recruited for political thuggery and assassination. Also, many Nigerian youths, now are victims of inferiority complex as a result of being unemployed for a very long time.
The above credentials can only but prove why our only country, Nigeria, the hope of the black race is being held down, because of the neglects of our subsequent governments who failed to respect and see Nigerians as the primary reason why the country exist.
No amount of policing of an army of hungry youths will be effective without presenting them a legal means of satisfying their hunger, without which they will soon find an illegal means of surviving which will be of greater security and economic cost to the governments.
Governments should know that the social disease of a state which results from pronounced unemployment among its youth, if not handled carefully will attract other of its two sister- security and economic diseases. Such, will only keep the country still.
