NI Research platform is handling a research on the issue of dress codes in tertiary institutions, and will give out airtime to those who seem to make salient points. Please take the survey here:

A lot has been said and written on how students dress on campus. It has also been suggested in some quarters that sexual harassment on campus is to a large extent attributable to indecent dressing by the students. The students (particularly the females) get harassed either by some of their male teachers or male students. The male teachers and male students also claim to be harassed sometimes by some female students.
Some tertiary institution, especially the faith based ones, have insisted that their students adhere strictly to their school's stipulated dress code to avoid any provocation that may lead to sexual harassment or other related issues such as rape. However, while some of the public institutions in Nigeria have inscribed their dress codes in their rules and regulations, nothing concrete especially in the area of implementation has been done.

I'm just following this thread to see the outcome of this dilemma and also waiting to see what domain king has to say if eventually they wake up. But please if you are not working under domain king, or not part of their support team do not give us customer support.

You still had to say nigerians cannot become cool, how do you expect people to be cool. Now its a problem with Nigerians, Imagine you wake up one morning and saw all your money in your account was gone, and the bank had no explanation for you or did not reply you for one week. You will sit down and just say they have technical difficulties abi. Why should we be comfortable with poor customer service. The one that annoys me the most is you calling it a little misappropriation. Do you know what one full week is. One week of frustration. Please Please Please. Wake up Wake up. You don't know what you are saying. Moreover , are you even the one who is supposed to tell us they are facing difficulties, is that not their job. Have you been employed as their mouth piece, if you are no problem, there are thousand Nigerians out there who have questions for you. I hope you have answers for them, you can start with the domain king clients on nairaland.

six to seven good days and you're telling people to be cool, how would you feel when your business and reputation is on the line, will domainKing come and explain to my clients or save my business.

everybody in the same mess as me, I've bought another domain from another provider. All i want is domain king give me my money back or all I'll do is give bad publicity for d rest of my life.

i just paid money into my account so that I'll buy another domain.... I won't lie I'm feeling very bitter right now.

I could remember somewhere on their website they promised customer support within 8hours. I can actually sue then for this. And also for giving clients false information.

we have all been doing that. I've complained on almost all their support platforms. ask anyone here they have done the same. The most painful part of it is that they haven't replied. if they are experiencing issues at least tell us. The silent treatment is very rude, i must say. O have a domain sitting in my panel and i cannot do anything with it. Everyday i log in to my panel all i see is wasted funds. Domain name that is only serving as a name sitting on my panel. it is very unfair ,take a look at what the others are going through.

today is my deadline and if i dont get any reply,that is it for me and domain king because they would have successfully made me buyanother domain from another website. and theirs would be useless. Thank you domain king for ruining my plans, i really appreciate. we're done.

I don't understand why I'm not allowed to modify the CNAME records for my domains like i do with other registrars?

If you are not going to give me access to modify these records myself - then your support should respond speedily - as it will also take another 24hrs to the changes to propagate on the network.
