A BRIEF ON THE BENIN-IDAH WAR.

The first Attah of Idah was a Benin Prince who went for hunting expedition and never returned but displaced the existing rulers to become the Attah.

The war between the Attah of Idah and Benin was a war between relatives caused by the then Oliha whose wife that he boasted of her fidelity was seduced by the stage managed cripple Young man by Oba Ẹsigie to prove to Oliha that no one can vouchsafe for a woman fidelity.

At the end Oliha killed the wife Imaguero. To pay back as revenge he sent emissary to the Attah of Idah that Ọba Ẹsigie was waging war against Idah and did same to Oba Ẹsigie by different emissary.

And in addition to that was Chief Oliha's animosity against Ọba Ẹsigie for accepting Christianity from the Portuguese. The Benin-Idah war was where the The Queen mother Idia fought as the first Amazon of the Benin Kingdom.

After the defeat of the Attah, he was captured and brought to the place in Egọ under house arrest, and upon investigation, it was discovered how chief Oliha caused the war.

The place the Attah was kept was named prison of "Ogie Idah" which to date is called Ogida quarters. When the matter was finally resolved, Attah was released to go back to Idah to be reinstated.

In a mood of tolerance the pendant of Queen mother IDIA was presented to the subsequent Attah as a souvenir of unity and good memories of reconciliation.

It wasn't much. I authenticated 3 documents at the ministry of education. Everything was approximately 1500 plus other charges. They charger per page. Then ministry of foreign affairs, i authenticated 4 documets ( there were 5 pages in total) every thing was less than 3000. You won't spend up to 5000 basically.

So employees are happy to work four days in d week and get paid for d entire week? What of employers? Are they also happy? Do u know how many businesses have withheld expansion into the SE cos of this evil forced sit at home? U think salary to pay employees comes from where? Revenue? Sit at home is shrinking revenue and with time they will start downsizing. Oh and an Anioma state won't be too different from Ondo, small derivation and they will struggle to pay minimum wage.

U say other regions will agree to give SE another state cos of equity. Really? In terms of population, SE is by far d smallest, also smallest by land mass but I don't even wanna go there. What matters most is population and by that SE is cheating both NW and SW. SE for d sake of equity doesn't even deserve to be a geopolitical zone, but fortunately zones are not recognized in d constitution.
Let me outline to u, u may not like hearing this but d north and SW holds d key in any constitutional amendment cos d law requires 2/3 votes in both chambers and then another concurrence in 24 states, 19 of which are in d north. Why should d NW agree to dilute it's majority by allowing an extra state even in d South? Politics is about interest, u should know they won't agree, this is just a waste of time. The process of state creation is so cumbersome that there is no need trying. David Mark was Senate President for 8yrs, he kept promising his Idoma people Apa state to end their marginalization in Benue. Could he achieve it? No. So how can okor Regina, a first term non ranking Senator achieve his phantom Anioma? Abegi, let's go and argue more serious issues

1. You are to book a return ticket for a year e.g August 26th 2024 - July 25th 2025. Not two years!
2. You can book a dummy accommodation on booking.com, you can use a gtb card to do that. Do not pay for accommodation or flight until your visa has been approved!
3. Yes you need health insurance, you can book via Allianz website, it cost 24,922
4. You don’t need any travel agent, it’s strictly DIY
5. I believe you’ve authenticated your documents in Abuja, you’re to send a mail to the embassy to legalize all your documents including your birth certificate, then you can proceed to apply for a visa.

At a time when everybody is crying "restructuring" without understanding that it should entail devolution of power from the centre and fiscal federalism, calling for creation of more states within the SE borders makes zero sense. The only way it makes sense is if you want to create the extra state so that the Federal government can give the SE more money. If true federalism is an objective, then given that most states in Nigeria are not economically viable, we should actually be merging states instead of creating more states. The truth is there is no good reason for the SE to get an extra state. We have the smallest regional population, and have by far the smallest landmass, and have by far the most ethnically homogenous region in the country. The agitation to create another SE state has never made any sense to me.

Is Anioma disunited from Igbo?
Anioma is part of Igbo land, united with Igbos but only separated by the Niger River.
Any reasonable Igbo would like continued Igbo connection to the SS zone, not disconnected by mere pronouncement of Igbos in the Anioma are now in the SE zone. I am not against the agitation of Anioma people for a separate state but the idea of making proposed Anioma State part of the SE zone is not to the interest of either the Igbos or to the Aniomas. Even most reasonable Anioma people will object to being part of the SE zone for pecuniary reasons. Put on your thinking cap and stop writing out of sentiments.

The Itsekiri, Ijaw, Urhobo and Isoko should either learn to live in peace with each other or finish each other off, it should not be Igbo and Anioma issue.
All we want is to have our Igbo speaking groups back reunited with us.

Codice fiscale which is equivalent to Social Security Number can be generated prior to coming to Italy.
Also, ISEE can be obtained at Nigerian Embassy, Rome.

You need to first of all authenticate your educational and non-educational documents like birth certificate at the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja. Then you send a mail to the consulate on lagos.consolare@esteri.it to book a date for legalization in order to get a DOV.

Even Yoruba called call Edo Ado. Ndi Idu is Igbo's name for Benin people.

The ancestor Idu is the earliest progenitor of Benin people.

In 1970, Nnamdi Azikiwe wrote in his "My Genealogy and Nativity" and traced his paternal and Maternal lines to Benin. Naming all his ancestors way back to Benin when Ezechima left Benin. No Ife mentioned in it. Zik mentioned other Ezechima clans, including Isseluku, Onicha-Ugbo, Onicha-Olona, Aboh, etc. In Benin, we consider Issele uku line as the most senior Ezechima line.

However, being of Benin royal descent, Onitsha royals/ancient aristocracy, they only relate with Ife through Benin, if at all such exists between Benin and Ife.
