SportsRe: Osimhen’s Selfishness Cost Galatasaray Goals Against Liverpool – Thierry Henry by AutoTechDoyz(m): 3:56pm On Oct 03, 2025
Angelfrost:
Yeah... Henry is right.

Sadly, it's becoming a disturbing trend among striking players these days.

They are more interested in personal glory than team success.

There are things, simple and basic things, a striker should know to do like squaring up the ball for better positioned players in the box.

This is rudimentary football... Just common sense.

Especially when victory is not yet fully secured.

Coaches need to start getting stricter about such things... Any striker that won't change should be disciplined by benching.
Oga, that's what stats obsession is doing to football these days. Football is, and will always be, a team sport. However, all your efforts count for nothing if you don't score, at least, a tap-in. So why criticise those who try to be selfish in a game?
A player can be nowhere in a game for close to 90mins, then by a stroke of luck gets a tap-in and he wins the MOTM award. It's absolutely nauseating!!

BusinessRe: If Given ₦2m To Turn Into ₦10m Within One Year, What Business Would You Do? by AutoTechDoyz(m): 10:59am On Sep 28, 2025
uchennamani:
Okay. Please, try as much as possible to make your independent research. Most of the materials and info is up for grab anyways. You could talk to your banker though.

I will start with a question. Where do you think the huge profits our bank declare come from? Nigerian banks offer very few loan credits to businesses in Nigeria. Nigerian banks don't investment in businesses also. Most of the tech companies like Piggyvest, Flutterwave, Paystack, Moniepoint were not funded by Nigerian banks. If you research deed, you would notice Nigerian banks don't invest in businesses. Who would blame them? The Nigerian economy is not business friendly, and banks don't want to lose their money.

So, the question is this: where does Nigerian banks get most of the profits they declare every year? The answer is government bonds. There are many types of government bonds, of which treasury bills is one of them.

Government use fiscal and monetary policy to control the economy. There are other ways though. One of the monetary policies the government use to control the economy is issuance of treasury bills. Please, research and find out the current rates. In fact, there are loads of informative videos on Tiktok if you search for 'treasury bills in Nigeria'. Government sells bond when they want to take money from circulation. The interest rate they attach to the bonds can either make people (banks inclusive) buy more bonds or not.

The minimum amount for buying these bonds is 50m but you get to pay 45m. When the bonds mature, they pay you the full sum. As most people don't have 50m, people invest through third party brokers. Fintechs like Opay, Piggyvest, Chippa, etcs gets money from you, use it to buy these bonds, and pay you bank your money with interest within the stipulated time.

So, back to the original question: If I had 10m, I would simply lock it with Fairmoney. They have the highest rates. They get money from their users, use it to buy bonds and share their profits with you by giving you good rates on the money you lock with them. The only difference between the money our old banks used to collect from us when we do fix deposits and locking your money with these fintechs is that the latter pay more interest
All right
BusinessRe: If Given ₦2m To Turn Into ₦10m Within One Year, What Business Would You Do? by AutoTechDoyz(m): 1:11pm On Sep 27, 2025
uchennamani:
If na me, I won't do any business. I won't even risk it. I would simply use it to buy federal government bond that pays 30% through a third pary issuing house. If the money is up to 45m, I will simply buy the bond with CBN. But since the amount is not up to that amount, I will buy with save it with Opay, Fairmoney, Piggyvest, etc. They collect money from people and use it to by treasury bills issued by the government.

In a year, your 10m will become nearly 13m, which is almost 30% profit.

No sane person invests this amount in a business that is not certain n this balablue economy.
Bro, please can shed more light on this. Especially the how to buy fg bonds through opay part.

The Chinese have INVESTED in Africa more than the West have done. China is Africa's biggest trade partner. Chinese are building factories in Nasarawa, where graduates earn 500K per month. Chinese have built trains to transport containers from the north central to Lagos ports (first of its kind). Chinese are building factories in Kastina state. Chinese are building factories in Ogun state. Chinese are in Abia and Ebonyi building factories.

As it is, it is easier to get a visa to visit China than to visit the US. This is just Nigeria alone.

You people are ungrateful!

Science/TechnologyRe: This Joke Might Be True In The Future If We Allow GMO Take Over Our Soil by AutoTechDoyz(m): 7:00pm On Jul 26, 2025
IyaTola:
How the West is Using Killings in Benue to Destroy Nigeria’s Food Supply and Introduce GMO

Deep in the heart of Nigeria lies Benue State, often referred to as the “Food Basket of the Nation.” From yam to cassava, rice to vegetables, Benue has long been the agricultural backbone of the country. But what if the relentless killings in this region weren’t just random acts of violence or farmer-herder clashes? What if they are part of a deliberate, international plot?

Here's the theory:

Step 1: Destabilize the Food Basket
Over the past decade, Benue has witnessed escalating attacks on farmers and rural communities. Entire villages wiped out. Farmlands abandoned. Year after year, the attacks intensify—but strangely, no lasting solution is ever enforced. Why?

Sources suggest that these violent incursions may be orchestrated to systematically wipe out indigenous farming activity, making local food production impossible. If Benue cannot farm, Nigeria will starve—or at least experience severe food shortages.

Step 2: Create a Food Crisis
With Benue in chaos, food prices skyrocket across the nation. Yam becomes gold. Tomatoes become luxury. The masses cry out for relief. The government scrambles. Then—like a well-timed savior—the West steps in.

Western NGOs, biotech corporations, and donor agencies start offering “solutions”:

“We’ll donate seeds.”

“We have high-yield, pest-resistant crops.”

“Our GMO maize and rice can feed 10 times more.”

“We can help you rebuild your agriculture.”

But there's a catch: those seeds are genetically modified, and with them come strings attached.

Step 3: Hook Nigeria on GMOs
Accepting GMO seeds often means:

Dependency on foreign seed companies every planting season.

Loss of native seed sovereignty.

Introduction of patents, where farmers can be sued for saving seeds.

Erosion of local farming knowledge in favor of lab-created agriculture.

Soon, Nigeria becomes hooked on genetically modified food—just like much of the Global South.

Step 4: Control the Food, Control the Nation
If you control a nation’s food supply, you control its people, its policy, and its future. With Nigeria dependent on foreign biotech firms for seeds and food stability, the West gains unprecedented influence over the largest Black nation on earth.

Benue—once the proud heart of Nigeria’s food independence—is turned into a testing ground for lab crops.

Is it coincidence that Benue, of all places, continues to burn while the rest of the world pushes GMO agriculture on Africa? Or is there something deeper—a coordinated economic warfare disguised as humanitarian aid?

Stay woke. Follow the seeds. The truth is buried in the soil.
I don't know if your theory is correct but, if I understand the oyinbo people’s operational manual very well, this is how they would go about it.

BusinessRe: Nigerian Banks Are Seeing Their Earnings Decline, And It Could Get Worse by AutoTechDoyz(m): 4:18pm On May 02, 2025
Seniormanchi:
The banks are having issues because of bad loans.

Real estate, manufacturing, and imports take a fat chunk from them.

The real estate sector is the worst. The banks give loans for huge projects, the developers in turn complete the projects but offer them for sale at inflated prices. The buildings sell slowly, in some cases never sell.

When the loan is called or the bank claims the property they also can’t sell to recover the loans because the market is overpriced - so what do they do? The rather refinance the loan. Eventually everything will crash.

The real estate markets are a bubble.

Imagine taking a $5M loan to develop only to put a ridiculous $10M sale price. But, everyone is doing it at the same time, and it’s still the same group of banks an individual will go to finance the purchase partly because he wants to hold and resell or rent out over x years to pay the loan. The prices keep going up, so all you can do is take another loan to pay another loan.

People should have scratched their heads when Dangote said he owns only a hand full of properties. The super rich are waiting for the real estate market to crash so they mop up. The paper billionaires are buying with hopes the market will rise.

The real estate sector will crash within 3 - 5 years all it takes is a sharp decline in oil prices.

So what does the government do … kick the can further down the road. cool
How sure are you about the emboldened?

Djdamian:
.Exactly.

The biggest issue with the 8th gen Honda Civic is unskilled mechanics who don’t really understand the car. My last Civic is proof—mechanics ruined it and it was just a frustrating experience overall.

That said, I still prefer this 8th gen Civic over any Corolla or Camry from 2003 to 2006. It looks better, handles nicer, and is more fuel-efficient when everything is working as it should. Though, the 2006 model had some factory issues, so that one’s definitely a no-go.
Most of these mechanics are bastards! One idiot recently broke my tensioner while trying to put the belt back on after having removed it. He spent almost 2hrs trying to put the belt on, yet botched it.
I had never seen that level of incompetence. I'm still terribly vexed because the tokunbo replacement I bought makes a rattling sound. And it's louder when the AC is on.

Nigerian mechanics are the problems. They should stop trying to fix Hondas like Toyotas. This has been a source of problems between them and me.

U intentionally stand in people's way to progress and change and think ur own life will progress? Na lie.

But if u are in this business and u lie and deceive people that it is not profitable thereby discouraging others then u will get your reward.
Baba, I don't understand this talk of ehailing dying. The only reason, as of today, I'm not making over a million monthly on ehailing is because as I restrict my driving hours to certain period, and other commitments that often pop up and take my way from ehailing for days or weeks.
I drove for 6 days straight—before the present commitment that has taken away from ehailing for over a week now, and I'd already made over 240k.
Perhaps they're discouraging potential drivers to forestall the saturation of the business, just maybe.
