Hello my people of nairaland, so many of you guys know me here,but really most don't know me when it comes to reality.

There is something bothering my mind and I seriously need advice from wiser people,by the grace of God I will be a graduate next year
(Electrical and Electronic Engineering) in one of the universities in north,but seriously for some times now have been having some deep taughts of how hard life might be after school, because honestly I don't have anybody, no connection nothing nothing.

So recently, a friend of mine whose dad is an army,came to our school then on sighting me he just started calling me GENERAL,at first I was not taking it serious coz I never for once taught of joining army,but the man was damn serious,just today I saw his text msg and in his texts he seriously want me to join on a short service style, he was even assuring me of how easy he was going to make it happen, like am
seriously confuse!!!!

please has anybody gone for the short service training before?

what are the requirements?

If you are not providing a $10b project Nigeria funded in a fiscal year or a global standard where Nigeria is classified as wealthy, then STFU.

When you split capital investment with NLNG, are you funding it 100% isnt that assisted expenditure?
Don't you know NLNG will later deduct that N60b from Nigeria's annual profits??

$1b is insanely huge when stolen by a politician, conversely, if you inject the same $1b to carter for Nigeria's population & landmass, it cant complete 800kms of federal roads.

Algeria with only AQIM as a major threat spent $10b annualy on their military consistently for 10yrs that earned them the number 2 spot in Africa.

Nigeria has never disbursed $10b for capital expenditure a year let alone use it to service the military alone, note the word "disbursed" not "Budget", I hope you understand the difference.

The gas infrastructure ongoing in Nigeria, Akk project valued at $2.3b was borrowed, Bodo bridge (Longest in Africa) at N120b , borrowed by half, Lagos-Ibadan, borrowed, warri-Itakpe, borrowed, Nigeria cannot afford a Capital $10b expenditure today, thats a fact!!
