This is the kind of reasoning that has kept Nigeria behind. Vote for someone simply because he is your cousin, not how credible or competent he is. What a governor! |
Confusion everywhere, clear desperation to hold unto power by any means possible... Supreme Emperor of the FCT. |
Which lessons are you talking about? What is there to learn about impunity, state capture and tactical weakening of democracy and will of the majority for personal gains? Keep trying to market bad features. You think he cares about your survival or existence here on earth as your president? |
I pity for Rivers state. Wike and APC don't care about the will or survival of the people. All they are after is to own and control political decisions, institutional control, impunity and control the entire wealth of the state; just like Tinubu in Lagos State, where ordinary Lagosians have zero say in choosing who becomes their Governor year in year out. How else can you define the term 'State Capture'? |
Good sound, the transitioning is very good and it's giving that kind of early 90s old school reggae vibes. |
Think for a moment. It is obvious the Governor who was in charge of Rivers state account and financial dealings during Wike's tenure is risking everything by trying his best to stop the established dirty structure of gross misappropriation and embezzlement of state funds, usually done through the state house of assembly. The Anambra state house of assembly did same to Peter Obi years ago, by frustrating him and impeaching him to get him out of their way since he wasn't giving in to their demands to further improverish the state as usual by doing the bidding of 'their Emperor Wike' (Chris Uba). However, Obi went to court and got his mandate back. In all these, Sim Fubara is not a saint, however I see a man trying his best to dismantle a bad structure designed by a few to continually hold the wealthy state of Rivers in their pockets. |
This is actually the real desire for many Nigerians that wish the country well regardless of religion, language, ethnic group, etc. |
The Armed forces does not take directives from a minister, especially when a there's an order from a senior flag officer or the C-in-C himself. Kindly note this fact once and for all. A whole French president's convoy from another country, was blocked by officers from advancing in New York city. Even after he called the host president on phone, the visiting president had to walk on foot in the streets towards his destination, because of a standing order that must be obeyed by the officers. Wike should have known better not to engage the officer acting on orders, but engage with the specific military authority. |
elitper:No sir, please kindly make fifth term, so that by then you will finally be satisfied and be consoled in your misery, that you have at least, upset some set of people with your prayers. |
I guess you already know the answer to the question is NO, a complete change of not only ones actions and beliefs, but also a total change of one's inner virtues. |
The same guy that France pushed to power against Laurent Gbagbo who wanted a third-term. In 2011, Gbagbo's refusal to cede power to this same Ouattara, after his failed third-term bid triggered a short period of civil conflict in which about 3,000 people were killed. What they are saying in the video above is that, they are tired of the situation Ivoriens have found themselves in presently. No jobs, growing inflation, electoral injustice, amongst others. Yet, France pretends not to see all these, simply because in West Africa, Ouattara is their reliable accomplice in the quest to keep milking Africa. |
Lucky you. We wish you a blissful marital journey. Thanks for giving her a chance to hopefully live a different lifestyle. |
At this stage it boils down to team psychology and mental strength. That's the difference between the Moroccans and Nigeria currently.
|
ChiefOloye:Let's not overflog this any further. My point is you are not perfect, neither is the poster you were criticizing. In my opinion, although the current government is doing its best, however, there are areas of underperformance, which when pointed out shouldn't be frowned upon, if we really mean well for the country. |
ChiefOloye:Neither did he call an entire ethnic group 'a confused people' for their choice/alignment. That is tribalistic and certainly not nice as well. |
ChiefOloye:But your comment is even worse than the one you're struggling to condemn, yet you want to blackmail the handlers of this forum. Be honest to yourself and compare your comment with the one you're criticizing. You just have to find a way to diss Peter Obi as usual in the most disrespectful manner possible, even though this topic has nothing to do with him. Remove the log from your eyes first. No insult please, just stating the obvious. |
If I was the Super Falcons team psychologist, the first thing I will tell the girls is to forget all the stats so far in the tournament (e.g 5-0 against Zambia, unbeaten run, 9-time champions, only 1 goal conceded, bla bla bla). PSG know better. Me: Girls, all these nice statistics should in the dustbin by now, if we must win this final match. Forget all the 'hype' on social media by our fellow Nigerians. Same Nigerians will tongue-lash the team if we fall on this quest. Girls focus, this is the final lap of our mission. The entire Morocco (in their backyard) are standing on the way to our quest for Mission X, and we CAN, and we MUST move them off the way, willy nilly. Painting the mental picture of our last encounter with Morocco, will help ignite the 'physical hunger' and 'mental fire 🔥' required in every member of the team, to surmount all expected obstacles. It's not all about couching and tactics at this stage. It's team psychology - the power of the mind. A team's mental strength and insatiable hunger is a key to success in difficult matches like this. |
The super falcons should be made to watch their match against Morocco 3 years ago. The antics of the home team, as well as the pain from our loss would spur them on this time around. They need to start absorbing the pressure from today. The pressure of a final match is always on another level. We played with only 9 players the last time against Morocco, in the same Morocco. Two (2) red cards and several yellow cards given to the falcons to drag us to penalties, and ensure we didn't win the cup. Girls be prepared, these Moroccans will do every negative thing possible to win their first ever Wafcon trophy on Sunday, after hosting and losing the last final 3 years ago to South Africa. We haven't played with a stadium full with Moroccan fans so far. A team psychologist is needed now, more than ever, to help boost the team's overall mental strength needed on Sunday, if we want to win the title for the 10th time. |
Racoon:I wish I could disagree with your words, but it is a fact staring us in the face. Baba Buhari is just there only two years after his presidency, zero charisma, zero contributions in the affairs of the nation, almost entirely forgotten, as if he was president far back in 1928. Even our great Jagaban, with all the influence of incumbency, does not even command real and unfaked respect from many within and outside the shores of our nation based on antecedents. |
El-Rufai though disliked by many in Abuja in the mid 2000s, brought sanity back to the city's landscape. 'Angwan Mada' settlement presently known as Naf Valley Estate Asokoro, defacing the view from the expressway, was totally demolished by the Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai-led administration in 2006. |
Good development. Gaps in proper environmental impact analysis is evident in many properties you see around these days. |
LARRYOBRAIN:That's typical Omah lay for you. His lyrics are usually unclear and depressing in a nice way. However, if I was the producer, I wouldn't end such a high beat song in such a dull manner. It took so long from the last lyrics to the actual end, killing off the vibe. |
I think the length of the song could have been a little longer, 3mins at least. Omah lay did so well, his characteristic incoherent lyrics blending well with the high tempo from the intro. While Davido's transition with his... sweet Fanta Diallo was simply sublime. Tempo is on another level. You can't just resist vibing to it. I love it. |
Ok, now we have so many characters rushing to join the APC ship at the moment, with others characters waiting to join. Let’s hope the don't rock the ship mid-ocean. |
Melagros:More power and more money 💰 Remember, Dangote sef still dey find money. Don't bother yourself with vanity or integrity preaching, dem no send anybody. They continually plot how to keep you and your family in penury, while they and their folks amass more wealth and power. |
That's a fact |
Not contest again in 2027 |
Money talk everywhere you go. If pesin no strong im mind wella, all these platforms focused on the desire for getting money and more money 💰, go make pesin put hand where im no suppose. This world is moving too fast on autopilot. |
AerialMapper:Please, don't even go there sir, you will shake the table. ![]() This APC administration is truly lucky to have a person like Wike help cover their flaws here in the FCT. Remember, APC (Buhari and Tinubu combined) till date has never won a presidential election here in Abuja, not even within the polling units around the State house or Villa. This may not change in 2027 unless President Tinubu does more in other sectors of the economy, beyond what the minister is currently doing here in Abuja. Thumbs up to this administration 👍 though for these tangible improvements, because Buhari and his then FCT minister, Mohammed Musa Bello, were total failures for eight precious years. One of the very few notable roads in Abuja commissioned by them just in 2023 (less than 3 years ago), before the general elections, from Naf Valley area in Asokoro to Check point in Nyanya, is constantly being scrapped and patched up around several failed portions of the less than 5.5 kilometer road, leading to countless accidents so far. Not like any other party is better, but nobody should hype APC here in Abuja yet, where enlightened folks see beyond all these cosmetic stuff. Just wait until you hear the staggering bills (in multi billions), that has been set aside for, and the actual amount gulped by these 17 'landmark projects', that is making Wike so elated and thanking Mr Tinubu this much. ![]() Nonetheless, thumps up to this administration, they really deserve some accolades 👏. |
Wiked is doing really well, though he has his flaws as a person. |
Cho cho cho, as usual. After losing presidential elections serially, Alhaji Atiku still living in dreamland. Someone should help wake up the Turaki of Adamawa, before the sleep enters slumber. |
