@veave, no need for all that outburst, it's just his opinion. I'm sure he didn't mean any offense. Any sane mind would obviously feel irritated by such a visitor. Familiarity they say breed contempt. @Sir Haruna, please calm down as well. If you read her first post, her irritation was not only focused on food (which obviously, is becoming more important than money lately). The daily visitor not only expose her home to the viral infection, with reccuring movements in and out of the home, he decide what to be offered him, and also intrudes into their privacy for like 10 hours daily. E reach to annoy any normal human. No vex guys, please stay safe. |
Page 1,000... A bundle of information. |
To think that this is the period business usually inceases for some. |
The last 3-4 pages have been simply mind blowing. Some intelligent, objective, and factual bundle of analysis. I would rather not mention specific names. Although, I'm not new to investments, but I have been exposed to so much information and experiences. Thumps up to everyone here. |
But if him give you money tomorrow you go still collect. Make I no just say wetin dey my mind.

So far, the total quotation of the building (from the very start to plastering) is ₦5,257,310. I think your quote is a safe stretch, kindly go ahead and complete it. |
2 Semi-detached or fully detached duplexes? Anyway, both options can nicely stand on a 900sqm plot (roughly 100*100), with ample space left, if well positioned. |
@gaeul, FBN requires you to notify the bank, at least 3 three weeks (minimum) before maturity. This clause is always written (though in smaller fonts) on their T-bills application forms. So obviously, you did not meet with that condition; hence the automatic roll over of your investment at the current interest rates, favourable or not, with or without your knowledge. Hope others will take note. |
Just like majority on this thread, I would easily and honestly crown bed bugs the nuisance kings. However, there is one evil & stubborn insect that the op left out, ticks on pets/dogs, especially your pets/dogs that live inside your house with you. It can take you months to years to finally get rid of them (even after getting rid of their hosts, i.e your pets) once they have laid their eggs in wall cracks, on curtains, on rugs as well as other spots within and around your home no matter how tidy your home is. |
A single picture could have sold off the house since July when you posted. Kindly find a way to upload the pictures of the property, if you really want to sell. |
Trying to sell a property fast at the asking price N18m, without a single picture? How on earth can anyone be captivated to take any step toward making a buying decision? |
Anybody interested in adopting an intelligent 2½ year old male lassa apso in Abuja? Simply indicate your interest for a deal. |
Why not upload a picture or two of what you want someone to pay for here? |
I guess Jennifer Chukwuemeka is just appropriate. As in most cases, she only drops her father's name, replacing it with your surname (while her own names still remains). For example, Jennifer Adaora Chukwuemeka (nee Okoli). N:B 1. 'Nee' (from French), meaning was born 'Okoli'. 2. Adaora: I personally love that name. |
Thread after thread, all you read is same display of unending frustration. The question that actually bugs the mind is, what exactly do some of these psychos cum wannabe 'enlightened historians' stand to lose, simply because the Ika people clearly insist that (irrespective of whatever shared similarities), they are NOT and should NOT be referred to as Igbos? With that said, the question to these commedians lamenting here then is, have you in anyway lost claim to your own 'Igbo identity', or have you suddenly found it so difficult to breath through your nostrils, simply because some people choose to have a distinct identity? What exactly do you stand to lose? Imagine a post somewhere above, where one even kept lamenting how sad his/she is, and ended up presenting some lame Fulani-Hausa analogy. Unknown to you, you ignorantly and ironically end up making the same Ika people even more popular than they hitherto were. Unfortunately, it's their call and not yours... So just keep the complex in check. Your discomfort is so glaring and irritating to others, biko. Kind regards though. Learn to live and let others live!... one love! |
The bottomline then is that, the Igbo man is Igbo and NOT Ika, just as the Ika man is Ika and NOT Igbo. Freedom of association. To your tents oh Isreal! |
I think Baba is only acting on behalf of the in-coming Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Tourism. But the fear is that, with all these many travelling/tours he would probably be dreaming of merging both Ministries, & then further shock Nigerians by keeping the portfolio for himself. Who no like enjoyment? |
Mr President has been out of Nigeria so often, that it is difficult to really assess his impact so far. Since he's yet to appoint ministers, he is probably busy acting on behalf of the in-coming Minister of Tourism. That's if he doesn't reserve that portfolio for himself. Baba likes travelling sha! |
Well, if the amnesty program will help stop the madness going on in the North East, then the president can go ahead. All we need now is peace for those families living in that region. |
Op, why didn't you just go straight to the point instead of writing all the long & boring 'stories'? |
Excellentmomma, you don't need to get upset. Everyone has got a varying viewpoint, probably based on their different experiences, background, and environment. It's often said that, variety is the spice of life. Enjoyed reading your earlier post. |
Tell her to take heart, she can explain to the panel what happen to her at Oshodi. Well, it's only a siwes log book, at least it's not a Swiss passport. Don't worry yourself, Ifa already knows their address under the bridge, and Amadioha will do the needfull. |
There is no free launch even in America. |
Some individuals are out to protect their own interest, just like during the ridiculous manipulations and open denial of late president Yar'Adua's death. |
How about Sterling Bank Plc? Are their staff faring any better as regards earnings? |
@Denn, I really love your point of view. I was recently in the CBD branch of FCMB, here in Abuja. Right behind me on the queue was one well-dressed gentleman, who revealed to me that he was once a staff of that very branch, until he left the bank in 2009. He said the only regret he had was not making up his mind to leave earlier. Stating that many of those we saw dressed in suits and other corporate wears were in actual bondage. Many would love to walk away from the job, but simply can't, as they are scared of the 'uncertainties' waiting out there, as the demands of the job makes them know relatively little aside their time-consuming banking jobs. |
Kindly get off your high horse, 'Mr Knowitall'. There is no one way of writing the igbo language, which has a thousand & one dialects, aside the one(s) you know. So, just stop being silly, by trying too hard to show your ''Igboness'' with your efforts solely aimed at discrediting the op. Wise people would rather read and learn something from stories like this, whether real or fiction. |
More grease to your elbow daviejay, and thanks for the updates bro. Pls, can you tell me the actual size of your plot? Also, since you intend moving in already before totally completing the house, pls what source of water do you have in mind for your home? Thumbs up! |
We know it's in Abuja, in which of the districts is it located? Be more specific, as this helps one to take an informed decision. |
Well, one lovely day, just get your biro, hold one of her hands and write the question on her palm, 'will you marry me?' simple!...lol |
Just tell her to her face, or watch another young chap take her to the alter. |
