According to Sahara Reporters

Islamist militant group, Boko Haram has intensified their attacks in Borno state less than 24 hours after President Goodluck Jonathan paid an unscheduled visit to the state. Villagers invade told SaharaReporters that the militants killed several villagers and burnt down many homes as well as shops. The attack that was initially resisted by vigilantes known as “Civilian Joint Task Force” affected Kayamula, a village some 15km to the Giwa Barracks in Maiduguri.

Kayamula is in Konduga local government area of the state. Some resident, that fled the scene of the attack, said they received advance notice that Boko Haram militants were headed to the village and passed the information to the army but nothing was done to protect the village.

The State House press release below..

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan undertook a surprise visit to Maiduguri Thursday on the occasion of Nigeria’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day to meet with officers and men of the Armed Forces currently in the frontline of the war against terrorism and insurgency in the country.

Accompanied by the Chief of Defence Staff, Service Chiefs, the National Security Adviser and the Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency, President Jonathan visited officers and men of the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army at Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri to thank them for their patriotic and courageous service to the nation.


The President told officers and soldiers of the Division that the nation was very proud of them and grateful for their dedication and commitment to the defence of the civilian population against terrorists and violent extremists.

President Jonathan also assured the troops that the Federal Government will continue to do everything possible to ensure that they get the weapons, equipment, welfare and logistics support they require to completely rout the insurgents and restore full security and normalcy to affected parts of the country.

Describing the troops as a special breed of men who were undertaking a great assignment for their fatherland, the President assured them that all necessary action was being taken to address challenges facing them in their operations against Boko Haram. “In terms of equipment and logistics, we have already made considerable progress since the insurgency started and we will continue to improve in that regard until your operations are successfully concluded,” he told the soldiers. President Jonathan also toured wards of the 7 Division Hospital and Medical Services Centre where he met with soldiers recovering from injuries sustained in operations against Boko Haram. He wished them speedy recovery.

Before leaving the Borno State capital, President Jonathan visited over 900 displaced persons from Baga at a camp in the city. The President commiserated with the displaced persons on the losses they suffered during the attack on their town by Boko Haram. He promised them that the Federal Government will strive to make their stay in the camps more comfortable while it continues to do all within its powers to restore peace and security to enable them return to their homes soon.

“Terrorism and insurgency have been very traumatic for all of us. I feel particularly disturbed when I hear of our people being displaced within their own country. “I assure you and other displaced persons that Government is working very hard to ensure that you do not remain in these camps for too long. “I know that many of your houses have been destroyed. We will assist you financially so that you can rebuild your homes and return to them gradually,” President Jonathan told the displaced persons. The President thanked the Red Cross and other international organizations who have been assisting in the provision of relief materials to the displaced persons.

He also charged local, state and federal government officials to work with greater harmony and cooperation in rendering support to the displaced persons. “I do not want to be hearing conflicting reports on support being given to them. Government is one and we must all work together to assist our people whenever the need arises.
“We must cooperate maximally and work together at the local government, state and federal levels to ensure that our people who are unfortunately displaced from their homes get the best possible treatment,” President Jonathan said.

Shocking video has emerged showing a veiled woman being publicly executed by Al Qaeda for alleged adultery - a sentence that has sickened even the Islamic State. The footage shows the woman, who is wearing a black robe and a hijab (headscarf), being ordered to crouch down on the pavement in front of a crowd of masked jihadi fighters in Syria.

Behind her, a militant declares that she has been convicted by an Islamic court of being an adulterer, condemning her for allegedly running a brothel.

A gunmen then pulls out a pistol and shoots her in the head with a single shot as chants of Allahu Akbar - Arabic for God is greatest - ring out from the baying mob.


The video, which was posted on social media, has drawn condemnation even from rival Islamists, with one ISIS supporter asking 'which Sharia (Islamic law) is that'.

The footage, which has not been independently verified, appears to have been filmed by a jihadi fighter on a mobile phone, reportedly from Ma'arrat al-Numan in the north-western city of Idlib.

In the video, a small crowd of masked fighters from Jabhat al-Nusra - an Al Qaeda affiliated group in Syria - gather near the city's main roundabout.

Most of the men are carrying machine guns and are dressed in thick coats and military fatigues.
The cameraman turns the camera to show the emptiness of the roads, with the traffic halted to allow the execution to be carried out in full public view.

A woman, who activists have suggested is thought to be around 50 years old, is shown standing next to several fighters.

Except for a red cardigan, the lady is seen wearing an all-black robe, covering down to her feet.
She also wears a black hijab (headscarf) which tightly covers all her hair.
Nearby a concrete wall, tagged in graffiti declares the area to be the stronghold of Jabhat al- Nusra (the Nusra Front).

A bearded fighter, wearing body armour stands intimidating behind her, warding off anyone uninvited who gets too close to the woman.

Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole today gave an executive order stopping the training of nursing students from the Igbinedion University at the state owned medical facilities, the Benin General Hospital and the Stella Obasanjo Hospital.

According to reports, the governor is angry at the school's management for collecting money from their students and not providing the necessary medical facilities for their training.

The students had up until now enjoyed free training at the state owned medical hospitals despite paying huge sums of money to their school for their training. Gov Oshiomole had earlier terminated an agreement with the management of the school to train their medical students at the state's specialist hospital over debts totaling N350million owed the state by the school.

You should be rooted and have custom recovery installed. Follow ROOTING guide and install RECOVERY and follow next steps.
1) Download ROM and this SuperSU.zip.
2) Keep it SD card and reboot to recovery.
3) Wipe data/cache and dalvik and then flash the ROM and SuperSU, incase you get a bootloop then reboot in recovery wipe data/cache and dalvik then again reboot recovery from advanced menu and then install the ROM then wipe cache and dalvik again reboot recovery and flash SuperSU and reboot. (Sorry the ROM is rooted but somehow it has a missing binary and can't figure out where it is so need to root again)
4) Will work with any recovery TWRP or CTR or CWM. Use your preferred recovery.
5) Reboot and enjoy

Procedure:
Download Update-SuperSu HERE, copy it to the root os your sd card

Download SP Recovery Flash Infinix 16+2 HERE, create new folder on your desktop name it "Infinix CWM" without quote. (Contains two files; recovery+Scatter File)

Download Sp FlashTool HERE. Create a new Folder on your desktop name it "Sp Flashtool" without quote, Extract the zip file of Sp Flashtool navigate to the folder you created earlier "Sp Flashtool" on your desktop and extract it there. Run Sp Flashtool as Administrator, it will pop "no scatter file selected" click ok. Click on the Second bar where you see Scatter-Loading browse where you extracted SP Recovery Flash Infinix 16+2 open the folder named " Infinix CWM" and select the scatter file.
Turn Off your phone and wait for like 30secs and Hit the Download then plug your Infinix back to the Pc. When you see the red link you're good but if no happens check your drivers. After the Yellow Link shows, and OK sign, unplug your device.

Infinix Mobile launched this awesome and amazing phone on 6th August 2014, it has been an awesome device designed in France.
But this phone has been review by many and lots of comments on their facebook fan page, some with good review while others with their own option. I'm a proud owner of one and I have been enjoying this phone.

Many of you are saying the phone ain't good due to:
Unable to root or customize: Please when you lay your hand on this phone, don't toy with it if don't actually know what or sure of what you're doing. It's a software protected device which means its very hard to void the warrants due to the firmware, my advice is don't disturb yourself rooting cause its gonna spoil some system apps on the phone so be wise use it like its an iPhone. Though some has rooted theirs but the software A used might not work for B. If you're a through android freak/developer I refer you flash custom recovery and backup you entire rom before you practice any form of rooting.
