If you have a company that runs a monopoly market in rice sale.

Let's say I for instance, being the president. I've observed that rice has gone out in supply, i simply declare a ban on exportation of rice. . .what it will mean is that you will have to sell your rice tothe local market, and NO, you simply can't increase your price, cos if you do, investors in the local market will take advantage of that opportunity to import rice and sell at a price that is ridiculously lower than yours. so in essence, it's either you watch your inventory get bigger without turnover or you simply sell at a price that is competitive for market rates.


What many of you guys are failing to realize is that most of these firms, by investing in economies outside their own, face a lot of political risk as well, at the same time, i[b]t doesn't make any sense that a company can produce food commodities ----for export only!!.[/b] if their is a short supply in local markets!

Well I can't be fooled. For the avoidance of doubt, for those who think Akala has eloped, I wonder where people manufacture all these fake news. The guy is in his Ibadan residence up till now not even in Ogbomosho (in Ibadan) hosting meetings and meetings with his crew, frequent visits to Abuja. So the fact that Ajimobi is yet to arrest him is Ajimobi's weakness. Akala is around in Ibadan in his house 5 mins drive away from the state secretariat. Lets keep watching with our eyes wide open

Well, there are only two answers to this: (1) We are all programmed to do something, anything - and the outcome of whatever we do is already predertermined. (2) If you feel so strongly that you have to wait for destiny to happen to you, then that in itself is your destiny - and the outcome of your 'wait' is also predetermined. In both cases the eventual outcome (whether envisaged or unenvisaged) is predetermined and totally out of your control. This may sound counterintuitive, but then it is not a simple argument that can be understood simply.

Indeed, you don't even have to believe in destiny for you to be subject to it. Destiny is something of a categorical imperative. It rules us all whether we like it or not.


However, like I earlier mentioned, this is not a simple argument. It is an extremely intricate argument that incorporates so many layers and abstract nuances that one cannot fully fathom. If I begin to break down some of these layers here, I'm sure I'd bore everyone to tears with the volume, complexity and abstract substance of the  resultant 'thesis'. In any case the best way to fully grasp the truth of destiny is to adopt a 'lateral thinking' approach.
